I had the opportunity to visit the hacienda participating in an event that took place there, specifically a wedding. It is a truly beautiful place, the surrounding environment and the concept for which it is being used, full of large spaces capable of admitting up to 300 guests and still feeling that you had the freedom to walk through its spacious and detailed rooms.

We went on a tour through TUI exclusive to Chichen Itza. If you visited Mexico through TUI this is worth doing as you arrive at the park before it opens so it’s not as crowded and the sun isn’t beaming yet. We had a lovely tour guide. Very impressed how well they have preserved the historical land. Still ever finding more ruins. Great to learn about the Mayans. Souvenirs every where but also a bit too much sometimes.
Very commercialized. Tons of vendors everywhere. Ruins were amazing but they close off large sections at 4:30 so you can’t even enter even though they are open until 5. We were late arriving due to travel issues and would have been super happy with even 10 mins to access the one section we really wanted to see but at 4:30 to the minute they cut people off. In the main area they are whistling at you and directing aggressively to exits at 4:45. If they are going to sell tickets until 4 o’clock, for the cost, they should definitely not be pushing people out before 5.
Excellent location. Get a good guide , there is so much to see and the history and mystery is very deep and interesting. So much to see and learn about. Very hot so prepare and be ready. Plenty of local vendors to bargain with.

Playa Delfines is a beautiful white sand beach located near the Hotel Zone in Cancun. The beach is popular with tourists because of its serene atmosphere and lack of commercialism. It is not an ideal beach for swimming because of heavy currents and riptides, but it is perfect for lounging on the soft white sand.

Bright blue water as far as the eye can see, white sand, and the warmth of the sun against your skin. What more could you ask for? This is a great beach with lots of umbrellas for public use, though be warned it gets quite busy and you’ll be fighting for a spot in the shade if you come later in the day! Also love that there are plenty of lifeguards and folks selling snacks and refreshments here.
Nice beach. A few vendors with water and fruits but little outside of this. It's a welcome break from the non stop selling in other beaches but it's too bad there isn't a shop a little closer or a cafe. If you're looking to bring your own drinks (no glass allowed) and don't want to rent a chair or be bothered, it's top pick
Impressive! The Caribbean Sea was a perfect turquoise colour! Most of the beach was empty when we went due to storms, it cleared up later on and we had the time of our lives there! My favorite beach in North America!
It is one of the best public beaches in Cancún, it is a really Must if you visit the area. The beach is just beautiful is highly recommended, there are public bathrooms and showers after you go to swim in the beach. Don't miss to stop here!
Lovely warm water with little seaweed but the waves are very rough so the lifeguards are blowing their whistles at people constantly. The beach is public and has quite a lot of umbrellas for shade. The famous Cancun sign is here but there is always a big line up so you may as well skip it and take pictures at one of the smaller signs farther up the road. The bus will take you here no issue but they don't like to stop to pick you up on the way back to the hotels.
The best and cleanest public beach in Cancun. The beach has public sun shelters but there are also the biggest waves in Cancun. You can reach it by buses R1 or R2. There are El Rey Mayan ruins in the other side of the road

This archaeological site is located close to the beach and features ruins from the Mayan culture. It is free to visit on Sundays for mexican people. The site includes a sculpture of a noble, possibly a rey (king), wearing an elaborate headdress.

For $10 we had a personal guide who provided us with an amazing experience with tons of info and history of the Quintana Roo area. Also it was within walking distance of our hotel!!
Very natural, quick, non commercial, inexpensive and easy bus access. Self guided tour, kid friendly, lots of iguanas to look at. We saw wild parrots and other birds. Nature seems quite used to the people and you can see close. Can see ruins in 30 mins or stay longer. No food or drink as very natural environment. Peaceful and quiet spot among commercial hub bub of Cancun hotel area - within walking distance of several hotels. Near public beach access bridge.
Such an awesome site, definitely an overlooked gem in the Hotel Zone. Right across the road from Playa Delfines. Carlos, the tour guide, is the BEST and really knows his stuff! Stop by for a relaxing afternoon.
Beautiful little spot right in the hotel zone. There were maybe 3 other people when we went, which was amazing considering where we were. We just walked right from our resort up the beach to the public beach and cut across to get there. Think it was about 60 pesos per person.
Cool historical attraction, cheap admission, almost nobody around, and iguanas everywhere!
Close to the hotel we did check it out. Interesting but also limited information provided. Make sure you do it early in the day otherwise it’s too hot. An older man is walking around offering giving a tour. If you don’t book him he comes back with stupid comments which I found absolutely inappropriate and he should stop doing that. Takes about 30 minutes to visit the site. Best are the animals you can see…
If you don't have time to travel to Chichen Itza or Tulum, this is a nice stop. Iguanas all over! Very peaceful. Parking was tricky.

The Mercado 28 is a long-running and iconic flea market in the heart of downtown Cancun. The market is full of food stalls and shops selling souvenirs, apparel, and other goods. It's a great place to explore if you aren't staying in the Hotel Zone, and it's also home to some of Cancun's best taco stands.

it was kinda hot so wear shorts and loose shirts if you can but otherwise a great experience, with kind people <3 make sure to try the coffee flavored tequila
Nice place to check out and eat and mingle with locals. The vendors are very pushy and constantly ask you to see their stuff. They mainly have the same products. The food court in the middle is cheap and tasty and there is always live music.
We enjoyed eating the local good, but the main reason why I do not give them such a high rating was because there were really too many of the same vendors selling the exact same item. The bathroom will charge you 5 pesos and provide you with toilet paper. As you eat in the mercado, there will be a lot of people hounding you for money and selling you things. Don’t be scammed and make sure you shop wisely.
Is a little Market where you can buy souvenirs at a better price because is not in the tourist area. There are also some restaurants like El Cejas where you can have any type of sea food while you listen this guy's playing a Marimba.
It is pretty cool place to visit. Pricing can be negotiated but it is a little higher than Maercado 23. It is very safe and not really crowded today 02-11-2022 when I was here. Everyone that visit Cancun should come and visit this place.
Lively Mercado with lots of souvenirs. You can do friendly bargaining with them. We did buy a few items to take back to Texas. From the hotel zone, taxis are quite expensive- about $40/- US. Dollars. Red bus costs very little. Anyway enjoyed the shopping.
Very interesting place to shop souvenirs, learn to negotiate the price, shop around never setlle just for one shop . Be kind and friendly , talk to people and learn about the culture , lifestlye. They are really nice people. Happy Shopping !! Recomended here instead of high price malls in Hotel Zone

The Cancun Underwater Museum is a large underwater art installation that is a popular tourist attraction in the area. visitors can take a trip on a glass bottomed boat to see the sculptures from the surface or dive below to experience them firsthand. There are three options for visiting this attraction: as a certified diver, with beginner diving lessons, or snorkeling.

I saw a sea turtle so it is automatically a 5/5. A great experience overall. We went through training before going on the boat, so if it's your first time, don't be nervous. The time spent underwater felt fairly long, and the sunken statues are so cool to look at. We purchased tickets directly through MUSA's website. You can find them cheaper if you seek them out in person with a third party, but you're not guaranteed to get a MUSA-approved crew.
This was my first time scuba diving. It was fun but its not for everyone. At one point, I got panicky, but remember to breath when you are down there. Some people might not handle it well diwn there. The two young boat crew guys were very nice and helpful, including the guy taking the photos. The instructor however needs to be a bit more patient and considerate towards the beginners. This company offers scuba diving for beginning non- certificate divers. For my first time, it was a fun experience. I would definitely do scuba diving again, but next time with another company not this one.
Do NOT book via "Travel Art Cancun" nor "MUSA" website directly as they both will overcharge you and take a cut for themselves! We booked 2 dives from cancun for non-certificates (i.e. beginners) via MUSA website which charged us each $145 USD excluding dock tax fee which was another $10 USD that we had to pay at the diving site (this means we paid a total of $155 USD by booking on MUSA website). However, upon arriving at meeting point we learned that other people had booked the very same experience with exact same package with the diving company directly for only $120 USD including the dock tax fee. Which means we each paid an additional $35 USD which MUSA takes for itself for connecting you to the diving company. The diving company itself is called "solo dive cancun" ("solo buceo cancun") they have a website and business address you can find on Google maps. Others in the tour booked with them directly and had no issues and paid less than us. The same applied for those with certificates (MUSA website charges you $90 USD plus $10 USD dock tax fee but the diving company charges only $60 USD including the dock tax fee). Book with the diving company directly! Booking via MUSA does not give you any advantage whatsoever. MUSA website is dishonest and it is ridiculous they charge this much extra for connecting you to the dive company! Our dive experience itself was fantastic and highly recommend it. The instructor was awesome and the dives were each ~40 min and we dived once to see the underwater statues (MUSA) and the second dive to see the manchones natural reefs. All diving equipments were included (minus suits which you technically don't need!), the boat ride and water also included.
I've already left a review when I originally went in July 2021. After 3 vacations, I've finally decided to get my photos and videos off my GoPro Hero 9 that I've been using on all these trips. Thought I'd share some for others to enjoy. I had a great time. Everyone was super nice. The water was SO blue and clear. The sites were great to see and be around. The experience is for sure worth it. I didn't want to share too much and give too much away :) Remember to look around and soak it all in. Keep an eye on your group, and just have a good time. Interesting underwater museum. They have cars, small houses, studies of people. However there is not that much sea life there. Ok to see once
This is a work of art! Diving and snorkelling here is recommended as the water is clear. Keep an eye out for various sea animals. A must visit!
I have been diving here many times. The last dive, I saw the biggest hawksbill turtle I have ever seen! It's an easy dive for beginners; not really any current in that area, great visibility, and it is all relatively shallow, like 10M or less. It is a great idea for the wildlife and unique spot here in Cancún, I'd definitely recommend it! 👌
This is a diving + snorkeling spot here built by local authorities to protect coral reefs and provide alternative destinations for tourists. The entire area is quite big, you may dive/snorkel multiple times to find different sculptures around different spots. Some of the very famous sculptures are the car, the group of people looking up, the arch, etc. In most cases, people need to book a tour and follow some local guides to come here and enjoy this museum.

They had live singers dancing and moving around the tables. If you can, try to get seating on the patio. Beautiful view with a cool breeze from the water. Would 1000% recommend!
Wow!!! Awesome food and amazing experience! I've been coming to Cancun for 26 years, tonight's dinner was spectacular. The mixologist at the table was rad, the service was out of this world. Every table has one waiter per person, I dropped my napkin once and the guy gave me a new one before I could pick my old one up. The crab legs were awesome. You have to get the cream corn side. Overall the best experience we have ever had eating at nice restaurants. Five stars and two thumbs up, you have to eat here!

There are no words to sum how amazing this place is. From the moment you enter, you are treated in a way that makes you feel so special. They bring a bag and coat holder to the table and give you a presentation of their steaks before ordering. The complimentary bread and sauces were beautiful as were the cocktails. We were assigned two waiters who never left our sight. The steak was the best I have ever tasted in any country. Jose Luis and Jair were our waiters and absolute stars. Went over and above and so friendly even walked me to the bathroom. Our bill was nearly £400 but worth every penny for an experience I wont forget.
My wife and I ate here on December 4, 2021 for our Anniversary. It was easy to make a reservation in advance. The service, the views, the food and the atmosphere were all exceptional! This is a very high class restaurant. Expect to pay a premium. I would highly recommend and we will return!
Excellent services!!! The waiters were Extremely friendly and attentive. They made me feel like a king when I step though the door. The atmosphere is beautiful. The tomahawk steak was delicious, the macaroni and cheese was decent, the roca shrimp was unique. Patrick was a wonderful host, and my waiter did a great job. Definitely a place to try if you are looking for something different.
If you are considering where to eat in Cancun, this needs to be at the top of your list. This dinner was AMAZING and one of the highlights of our trip. We are a family of 7 and felt accommodated and treated excellent at this establishment. My family dined here to celebrate my daughters birthdays- the staff brings sparklers and a birthday dessert. We all had steaks and a side… we saved room for dessert which I highly recommend. Everything was delicious. The house rolls with butter & sauces, the mixologist that came to make use drinks table side, the way the steaks were cooked to perfection, the special “plain” pasta they brought for my youngest, the perfect desserts with sparklers & singing. Just amazing! Our servers Eduardo and Charlie were beyond attentive and made excellent recommendations for us. We felt so special and taken care of here. One highlight my children also enjoyed- the bathrooms- worth a visit in. We watched the sunset and felt all the joy you want to have while on vacation with your family. Smiles all around, a wonderful dinner, and being treated like royalty. The cotton candy at the end was a lovely surprise for the kids and delighted everyone. Get your reservations and plan to enjoy a night here!
Food was amazing, the atmosphere was great! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Our waiter Josmar and Marcos were very polite and waited on us from the time we arrived until we left. The entire staff was great!
Had a fabulous dinner with friends at my favorite Cancun steakhouse! Our waiter was Jorge Pantoja, he took such good care of us, suggesting appetite or the table and answering all our questions about the menu. Very fine dining! Best food i had while in Cancun, i felt so special, our service was great. Price well worth it. From the ambiance, to the scenery at the waterfront, the bathrooms and the accessories at our table like the little lamp for night time and the post that holds our purses made this an immaculate experience. Celebrated a birthday here and it was perfect. We dined outside on the water watching a gorgeous sunset while sipping amazing tequila. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was spectacular. The restrooms were very interesting as there were 2 stalls that sat next to a full window with a tiny hint of publicity in them. Don't think you could actually give someone a show on the other side but the "possibility " of it was thrilling.

Wonderful experience . My husband and I went here for our honeymoon dinner. First: Juan and Adolfo served us, and they addressed by our first name , as well as routinely checked in to make sure we had enough water and were enjoying ourselves. We felt very taken care of. Second: The food was amazing. We got the shrimp cocktail, lobster risotto, and Kansas City steak , it was a PERFECT amount to share between two people. We also had a salad and beef carpaccio for appetizers. Third: the view was beautiful, overlooking the water. We will absolutely be returning!

We had an amazing time. The food was fabulous and the drinks/ alcoholic drinks were well prepared! We sat outside, listened to the live music performed and sang along with her. She was amazing and did a great job. I usually don't like seafood, but my shrimp was amazing and well seasoned!
Great food and location. We had the Cajun Shrimp for an appetizer and Bourbon Street catch of the Day and the Accidental Fish & Shrimp. The frozen lemonade was good. Overall, a great experience if you're looking for a quick bite to eat and no reservation for lunch. We had a visitor that live in up the visit. 🦎
The corn was tasteless. Shrimps were so tiny... You'd expect much better quality shrimps from them. Service was fast and efficient.

We stopped here for a quick ( and late) lunch after a long afternoon in the car. We weren’t dressed the part, but that didn’t stop the staff from treating us with the utmost kindness. The food was delicious! Our family of 7 tried multiple appetizers, mains, and desserts. Everything was wonderful! Also, we had a few mixed drinks and they were also very tasty. The service was perfect and I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great place by the ocean with very loud music and seating both indoors and outdoors. Good ambiance, great interiors. Menu is well presented as you can see in the pictures and is tasteful. I recommend the tangy tamarind margarita personally. Salsas and guacamole are tasteful too besides the cocktails. Servers are good and attentive- to the point that they start taking away your drinks or leftover dishes even while you’re still eating ! They were in a rush to clean up and won t let us be after about ten minutes of starting to eat - that was the only but big downside to an otherwise nice lively place- walkable to the best hotels like the Ritz and Hard Rock. Sewer starch from nearby did bother us a bit while sitting by the water. I recommend the place for a great evening. Great drinks selection.
Tonight was my second visit to Porfirio's (first visit was in Feb 2020) and again it was excellent. The service is stellar and the food is amazing. I recommend arriving early enough to watch the sunset on the patio. Our hotel concierge made reservations for us and they also have online reservations. From start to finish, it's a great experience. Be sure to save room for dessert. The churros are a delight.
Incredible staff & service! We have never felt so taken care of at a restaurant. They have thought of every single detail. The drinks were amazing & food, too! The bar cart was fun & unique & worth paying a little extra per drink for that table - side service. El pastor taco presentation was so neat how they cooked the food table- side. We were extremely taken care of & blown away by service & ambiance. Music was a little loud , but they played enjoyable music. The passion fruit mezcal cocktail was so good &, again , the presentation 👏🏽 complimentary cookies at end were a nice touch !
We came to celebrate a birthday and it was a great experience. I recommend getting a reservation close to sunset. The view of the sunset in their outside seating area was breathtaking. The DJ played fun remixes of known songs. I did not find the music too loud like people in other reviews were saying but maybe that’s because we went on a Tuesday and we’re outside. Expect to spend about $100USD for two people if you order a few drinks and 2 entrees. Our server was very attentive and did not rush us when enjoying our meal.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Lively and fun vibes. We waited for about 15/20 minutes because we didn’t have the reservations but it was worth the wait. I will not recommend to bring little kids here as the music can be too loud for them. I personally love the music / song and performance. All and all a great night.
This is a very trendy restaurant, and clearly very popular with tourists, as it was absolutely packed. It's a unique place, part upper class restaurant mixed with pub, nightclub and hullabaloo bar. You can tell from the moment you step in that it's not going to be cheap. The food is very different. The dishes are quite small but have a very unique take on Mexican cuisine. If you're looking for traditional Mexican food, this is not the place. Overall, its a cool place.
FUN! Porfirio's provided a fantastic date night for my wife and me. The restaurant has a feeling of elegance, while also remaining relaxed -- the staff was dancing, clapping, and singing along with the music. We had a blast people-watching and enjoying the music but you should absolutely be aware: it is loud. This is NOT the restaurant if you're looking for a quiet evening, or a place to have a long conversation. Instead, this is a place to enjoy amazing food with a great fun ambiance. Porfirio's goes above and beyond with food and drink presentations, so it almost feels like dinner & a show. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced (for American standards). I would highly recommend this spot for a fun night out!
This was our first visit and we were absolutely amazed with the combined quality of the food, the excellent service and the great time on Friday night. Of course, the view of the sunset is awesome as well. Everything we ate was spectacular from the jumbo shrimp to the dips and chips, and the flank steak we had was spectacular. We can’t wait to return!!!
Great place to eat well prepared and excellent looking dishes. The restaurant is very nice and high-end looking, servers are great and move pretty quick, the drinks are very good, and the dessert (which we got was the churros) is delicious and incredible!
A classic example of trying too hard and completely missing the mark. This place has a lot of potential, but it failed to impress us. The location, the view, the ambiance, and the music were all great, but the food and the service were disappointing. The food was bland and forgettable. None of us enjoyed our dishes or wanted to order them again. The service was pushy. The waiters tried to upsell everything, from drinks and appetizers to desserts, even when we clearly said no or had indicated our selections. I strongly believe management is responsible for this excessive attempt to sell add-ons. The worst part was when they asked us to choose the tip percentage before finalizing payment, instead of letting us input it ourselves on the receipt or the machine like any other place. This place tried too hard to be fancy and ended up being frustrating.

This was hands down my favorite meal in a long time! The staff was so attentive, Alex and Felipe really made sure that we were taken care of and were very hospitable and welcoming. We enjoyed their recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing, we got the ribeye and baby lobster. The steak was better than any US steakhouse I’ve been to so far, it was so tender, a perfect medium rare, and had great marbling. It was presented beautifully to us along with the lobster. We sat outside and had a view of the lagoon which was perfect for celebrating our anniversary. This is a meal we won’t forget, thank you to Puerto Madero for making our last night in Cancun one we won’t forget!
A very nice steak and seafood place right on the marina. They had jumbo lobster which was excellent but a bit salty. The staff is fast and very courteous. Bring money though
Dinner by the water was one of our favorite meals in Cancun. The setting is beautiful. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We shared the Caesar salad which was made table side from scratch. We also shared oysters, the grilled octopus and the baby lobster tails. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back!
The service is top class in this restaurant! We celebrated my birthday here and ordered the whole seabass fried with rice. It was delicious as well as the mocktail drinks, but the potato souffles were lacking. They weren't crispy, but a little soft and soggy. We had a gorgeous view of the marina from our seats. I only wish I had brought a cigar to enjoy on the terrace.
We stumbled upon this amazing restaurant and returned the following night with a larger group. This place packs a punch. A menu worthy of exploring with a friendly service eager to share their knowledge and serve. This is possibly one of the best ambiance, food and service in the region. Enjoy!
This place is amazing! From the food to the service. Top-notched! Even better than high end American’s restaurants. We ordered Jumbo Shrimp and Fresh Oysters for appetizers. Then, the grilled fresh-catched sea-bass of the day that, they brought out for us to pick. The Surf-n-Turf was delicious, lobster was so good and the steak was cooked just right! Our waiter, Jesus was so nice!!! His service was great. He cooked the Flamed Desert Crepe for us. Everyone in the restaurant is super nice!! If I visit Cancun again, I’ll definitely be back!
Amazing empandas, you should ask because sometimes they have more flavors than what you can see on the menu. We ordered several items and ate them as a group. But you really need to get an empadana per person. Aaa yes the French fries come in a edible potatoes basket. Really good.
Amazing experience ... you rarely get a view with quality food and kind waitstaff and this was definitely the restaurant for that. Everyone at our table was satisfied with their meal including two kids and a vegetarian. The wait staff were warm and welcoming. They definitely enhanced our experience by being kind and accommodating with the couple of request we made. The Caesar salad dressing was made table side and has been the best I've had. The rib eye steak had so much flavor and was so tender 10/10 recommend. The cheesecake was a win for everyone. Initially all but one wanted to skip dessert but when the cheesecake arrived we realized it was too good to pass on so much so that there wasn't a morsel left. It was comical to watch as we all grabbed a spoon and almost lunged to get a piece of it. The tuna tartar was also a win and more filling than expected.

We went here for our final dinner in Cancun. It had pretty good ratings, & the wife wanted seafood. I'd made reservations, but at first they said they only had availability inside. I said we were disappointed, as we were celebrating our anniversary & had hoped to sit next to the water. They asked us to wait a few minutes (we were 15 minutes early anyway), then sat us next to the lagoon. Our server was very fast & very friendly. The wife doesn't usually get an appetizer, as she fills up & can't finish main meal, so she contented herself with bread while I had the lobster bisque. It was very nice, but I don't think it was the best I'd ever had. Maybe second best. For the main meal, the wife got grilled salmon, which was a generous portion with some nice, spicy sauces. She enjoyed it very much. I'm not a huge seafood eater, so I went for the fish & chips, which were actually very nice, with a tangy tartar sauce & another mango-pineapple sauce. I didn't care for that too much as it was too sweet for my taste. We weren't planning on having dessert, as we were going to stop back at the hotel restaurant for churros; however, the server brought over a little dessert cake with a Roman candle spraying out the top for our anniversary. It was topped with some biscuits, which I ate, because the cake itself was very sweet. Neither of us could finish due to the sweetness and being full. We were really full by this point, but they finished off the meal with two small coconut balls under a small palm tree. Overall, it was a very nice experience; however, the food delivery was very slow. I'd say we sat well over half an hour before we received our main course. The manager did come over & apologize, serving us a complimentary guacamole dip with pork rind wafers. The place is pretty large & was very busy, with servers & busboys running around, but I guess the kitchen couldn't keep up. We heard another customer complaining about the length of time it took for her food. Still, we were in no hurry so we would definitely dine here again.
Very nice location option, part of a bigger restaurant group. The main reason to go there is the very well done ambiance, with a DJ, tons of show cooking and sparklers going around on top of the food. The service is very good and attentive, surprisingly not overwhelmed by tourists, and always willing to work with a smile. They are knowledgeable about the food and were always smiling. The food, as expected, is not gonna be the best or most flavorful around, as it happens in chain restaurants. But it certainly hits the spot and takes away the craving of a nice ceviche. It is worth to mention that the food really takes some time to arrive.
Fred's Restaurant was one of the restaurants we visited while in Cancun and I must say, we were thoroughly impressed! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the exceptional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. One of the things that stood out to us the most was the restaurant's beautiful outdoor seating area. Not only did they have a gorgeous open sun option, but they also had a cozy gazebo-style setting that was absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't help but be in awe of the stunning water view that accompanied our dinner, it truly added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. But it wasn't just the setting that was exceptional, the service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They were friendly, helpful, and truly seemed to care about their customers. And the food? Well, let's just say it was nothing short of amazing. The menu had a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was awesome. We particularly enjoyed the seafood dishes, which were fresh and flavorful!
Went in on a whim with my boyfriend and this was an incredible experience! The staff are so attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful and the aesthetic is so beautiful. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious but my favorite was the mixed ceviche and the tuna bites. Hands down the best octopus I’ve ever eaten. You won’t regret adding this to your list of places you must try in Cancun!
Amazing experience! Food was excellent I had the lobster roll 10/10 and my husband had the coconut shrimp also great!! Eduardo and Luis were on top of it and had fun chatting with them, Eduardo took it upon himself to offer pictures with a view! Love them! Will definitely come back here again!
This was the best food I’ve ever had in Cancun & maybe even US to be honest! Seafood was so fresh, cocktails were perfect, the place was so aesthetically pleasing and beautiful views. Most importantly the service was by far the best I’ve ever had. 10/10 recommend to anyone visiting Cancun!! Raul was seriously the best, so fun and attentive and Roger was so helpful!! Thank you for making our trip!
This was one of my favorite restaurants when visiting Cancun. To start, the service was great. The waiters were very attentive and so nice. The atmosphere was also really romantic and cute. We sat outside near the water. The food was also amazing for such a great price!! It was very fresh and well made. We ordered the lobster bisque, crab cake, crabby patty and flamed crispy coconut shrimp. All of the food was well prepared and they give generous portions. We were so full but struggled to try to finish because it was so good. I highly recommend and would gladly go back on my next trip to Cancun.
Fred’s was a fantastic experience for my wife and I. The service as well as the food were excellent. Our appetizer was huge and very good. Our meals were tasty and of high quality. They then brought us free desert to celebrate our honeymoon with a firework in it. It was so fun and everyone was so nice! We spent around $75 after the tip and without any drinks. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some fresh quality seafood !
This place was great! The food, the service and the atmosphere, amazing. You must go here if you like seafood and want to try cocktails too! Karina and Paco were great!!! We tried so much more food but didn’t take pics. I highly recommend this place.
First time here. Part of the Amderson's group of restaurants, that also owns the famous Harry's Steakhouse which we love. Incredible service by staff and management. Food is perfect and delicious. We had the grilled octopus which is one of the best we have ever had, followed by the signature lobster dish for two. Amazing flavors and cooked to perfection. Finished with crepe cake which I'm itself is amazing take on a simple desert to the next level. We recommend it all. Thanks to Charlie, Karina, Dany, and Paco for taking care of us so well. This is a keeper in our stops when we come back. Another great Anderson's group restaurant to not miss. And the sunsets are amazing....
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This restaurant has the best seafood, view and service! All our dishes were fantastic and they were very attentive to all our needs and my allergies. I ate the shrimp tacos and grilled octopus - both were cooked to perfection and flavours were amazing!!!
I am so glad I came here, because I usually go to my favorite restaurant, which is Taboo Mediterranean Restaurant, but this now has become my favorite restaurant.....on the hotel zone! When I reserved my reservation, I kept sending them messages, asking if I could reserve a villa, but I did not get a response....so when I showed up, they were so gracious enough to let me eat within a villa, because at the time it was not that busy. I believe normally to get a villa you have to have a certain amount of people in your group and/or maybe spend a certain amount of money (alcohol) and I was solo. To me, the prices were decent. I know some people said pricey on the reviews, but I felt it was ok. The presentation was nice and the food tasted really good! I wasn't sure if I wanted to get the lobster mac, or the salmon dish and my server recommended the salmon dish....which it tasted so well seasoned!!! The place is very beautiful, everyone was so nice and friendly and rushed to serve me. Christopher, the Mgr made it happen for me to sit in the villa, so thank you Chris!!!!! I will definitely be back!
We had an amazing dinner at Fred’s House… service was impeccable. I can’t say enough about the staff who were so attentive and pleasant! The food was delicious and so were the cocktails. We will definitely be back and recommend this to everyone.
What a wonderful experience to end our trip in Cancun. LUIS & PEDRO took care of us and were the friendliest and most helpful , along with so professional. Could not ask for better service. My favorite dish was the tuna tostada. Sorry I ate it all before snapping a picture! The flavors on it were spectacular. The oysters were delicious and fresh, and the crispy crab tacos and lobster Mac were excellent. The star of this restaurant though is definitely the staff. 10/10
Amazing restaurant with a beautiful view of the water. Coconut shrimp is delicious. They have really great mojitos, we tried the hibiscus and the passion fruit and both were equally amazing. Lobster thermador is delicious. Crepe cake was best dessert of the trip! Service is great and highly attentive. Will absolutely be back in the future!
It’s my birthday and was only in for a drink and appetizer.. Glad I decided to sit and enjoy the food and atmosphere that was all amazing. My waiter Roger was so attentive and kind, always two steps ahead. Fausto was definitely on top of everything and working with Roger to assure my dining experience was nothing short of amazing. Thank you both and compliments to the chef.
