This is an immense structure, second only in mass to the Pentagon. It was the result of extreme ambition. Several churches were literally wheeled away by clever and determined engineers, to protect them from the destruction this project wrought, in response to the desire of people determined to hold on to their community heritage. The building is huge, extravagant and very quirky. It is heavily clad in marble, adorned generously with flamboyant chandeliers, and much decoration, with leather and hardwood furnishings, and elaborate ceilings. No doubt there are many secret corners and passageways.

Very interesting and impressing building. Hard to miss when you're visit Bucharest. I've only seen it from the outside, from what I've read online getting in is a big hassle. There's a huge parking nearby which is super convenient.

Parliament of Bucharest is the heaviest building on this planet and second largest administrative building in the world after Pentagon. They have official guided tours but the bookings need to be done in advance by calling them as the slots are very limited. Bookings start a day prior only. The guided tour was pretty good and explained many facts about Romanian political history and some interesting facts related to the construction and history of the building. I would definitely recommend this when in Romania.

A nice historic place of Bucharest, unfortunately the tours are done by the government so there's not much else to learn then kubic meters of a and liters of b. I suggest doing some reading before going in there, there's lots of interesting things to learn about it which the tour won't tell you. The place looks great, is well maintained and getting in is fairly easy

One of he most interesting place to visit in Buchurest. The building is huge and I think it is the second largest in the world. Impressive interior with one huge room after another including monumental staircases and reception halls, many beautifully decorated. The Building's interior is simply stunning. All the chandeliers and carpets in here are beautiful. All the floors and walls are marble. Worth visiting!

It is said to be in the second place after the pentagon in size. Tour guides specify the features of each hall, which is very entertaining, and if they have extra features such as acoustics, they have them checked while they are in the hall. They objectively describe the events that took place while the building was being built. The tour was really fun, it took about 1 hour, but we couldn't understand how it went. I'm sure you'll get dizzy looking at the marbles inside. As the tour guide said, if there was more marble, it would have more rooms.

This building is a must for those visiting Bucharest and surely for those who want to understand the contemporary history of Romania. Tours are guided by English speaking guides who are knowledgeable. In our case the guide was just repeating by heart the script of the tour, but it was still enough. Despite the low number of spaces they let you visit, the quality (and size) of those is beyond normal. Highly recommended.

This place is definitely worth visiting. The building is absolutely huge (heaviest building in the world) and has many beautifully decorated rooms. You need to book a tour In advance and the tour will take about 1-1:30 hours. Don't miss out on visiting the most famous landmark of Bucharest!

We only saw it from outside (and inside just the first room you enter, basically the reception) but it was still very impressive!! We already knew the building is huge obviously, but it was still crazy to see it live. Definitely a must visit!

This building is spectacular. The photos don’t do its monumental size justice. I walked around the entire perimeter and it took around 30mins highlighting the size of it. Was great to be able to experience it. There was a-lot of construction and renovation on the sides and back but you were still able to enter. Be weary of times to enter inside if travelling there as weekends has condensed hours. Hope this is helpful (June 2023)

Visited this as a tourist to see what it looked like. We typed in on google which ended up taking us to the entrance where a guard was we asked nicely how do we view the building from the front to which he got very rude and said you can’t and need a reservation I explained I just want to see it from outside. In the end we walked around and did get to see it so be warned if you go

On a beautiful spring day or a mild summer day, the village museum must be visited ... Whether you are from Bucharest or just passing through, don't miss it! In addition to homes in all parts of the country, you may be lucky enough to find some traditional products. The children also seemed fascinated and delighted. I wholeheartedly recommend

Great experience. If you are visiting Bucharest, you must also visit the National Village Museum. It is such a beautiful museum. On my visit I saw many different traditional houses, barns, and a church from different parts of Romania. Such an amazing place to spend couple of hours and to learn more about Romanian architecture. I highly recommend it!

Very large are with many beautiful houses to see and some which you can enter too! Good cheap entry price and good for a nice day out! Although if you're Northern European, you may get sunburned on a hot day.... There are board outside the houses with descriptions written in Romanian and English, without any translation errors.

The place is beautiful but the diversity of some specific activities are missing. The biggest downside is the fact that a lot of houses are closed and cannot be visited considering that this is not mentioned anywhere. i would ask for a refund but I wasn't able to find the person from the reception. Interesting for a first timer but other than that I would not recommend visiting the place.There are also some shops with great home made jars of different foods, sweets or clothes, but that is everything.

We went there on Thursday an hour before it closed. There was free parking space right in front of the entrance. We used a student discount so a ticket was 8 lei. The houses inside are great, a lot of info to read and see. You can spend 1-2hours easily. We spent an hour inside but managed to see only half of it before we were asked to head to the exit since it was almost closing time. The staff was friendly and the ticket lady knew a bit of English so the service was nice. Cheap for such a great museum. Bear in mind that you need to go in sunny weather since it’s all outside.

Totally incredible place. I’ve been to museums around the world and never been to such a place. Clever idea to preserve traditional homes from all over the country for everyone to enjoy. It’s in a huge park, be prepared for easy walking through a beautiful spot. Come prepared with a picnic or eat at the (average bit well priced) on site place. loved it. There’s also lots of brilliant handicrafts to buy, you’ll be buying direct from the people who made them. Totally recommend.

Really interesting place. We really enjoyed seeing all of the traditional style houses and reading a lot about the history of villages across Romania. Definitely worth a visit, and make sure to leave yourself enough time for it.

One of my favourite places to spend some time in Bucharest! It brings childhood memories and it reminds me of the way my grandparents were living. It's a peaceful place where you can also find local tasty products in the weekends. It's definitely worth visiting!

Great experience! Lovely to visit traditional style buildings from different parts of the country and to learn a bit about the history. Nice place to go on a hot day as the museum is located in the shade of Herastrau park. Make sure that you go right from the entry of the museum as many people like myself tend to go left and miss an entire village on the right. Some of the buildings doors were locked. We'd wish they were open to visit them inside as they were decorated . Do not recommend the restaurant inside as a bottle of water costs 3 times the normal price. 😉

A huge lake with a scenic path along the bank. There are many magnificent swamp green cypresses on the bank. You'll find many good cafes & restaurants here, playgrounds for children, sports grounds. One of the sports ground very old, iron & tough, especially for workout men & women) Only horizontal bar, ladder, rope with knots & pylon(look at it in the last photo)!!! A very good place for running in hot weather, because you are running all distance along the bank with beautiful landscape and in a shadow of trees.

Very beautiful and big park, you can really spend an afternoon and relax here. There are also good places to eat or drink something. A breath of fresh air highly needed in Bucharest.

Beautiful lush green park. Here you can enjoy cycle ride, kayak and kanu in the lake, enjoy local snacks in different stalls and also enjoy food and music in the Hard Rock cafe...so many activity you can here...actually very good place.

This is must visit church in Old town, Bucharest. though its small in size, its the most beautiful place in town. There are many fabulous painting inside. The architectural details on walls & doors is impressive. Once you go inside it, it feels peaceful.

🤩 amazing monastery. Very small but it seems that it is full of history. There's not a single place on the wall without decoration. I was able to get in by chance as there were people before me that couldn't get inside. It's free and you can pay for a candle to light and leave outside. Recommend going there before leaving town. You don't need to appreciate religion just that you enjoy decoration and history.

Hidden gem in Bucharest old town. Built in the Brancoveanu style, used to be a monastery, but now is a church. The church itself is still in use. It still has a feeling of old times and strong spirituality. The architecture and the paintings are gorgeous and are worth a visit.

One of the most interesting places in the Old Town. This church not only has survived to earthquakes but also the systematization planned and carried out by the Romanian Communist Party, it is well preserved and the restoration works were excellent. Undoubtedly, it is worth a visit. Besides, you will enjoy neo-byzantine music performed by the choir inside, so it is a peaceful and relaxing place as well. You can visit the library next to the church with a collection of old icons and ecclesiastical objects as well.

The most famous historical church in Bucharest. It is a small church but the ,ost famous one. A lot of historical icons. It is located in the old city. It worth to visit it for 30 minutes.

Stunning monestry covered with ornate carvings snd images. Arrived early afternoon whilst pray was taking place but greeted to enter afterwards. Very quiet courtyard next to it again containing many religious artifacts.

Nice orthodox church in the city centre. It is said, that "it is always open" - I heard it from few people, read on the internet, even guide told us so, however after 7 PM it was already closed. We managed to take a look the next day in the morning, however without sightseeing, as there was holy mass inside. There is a nice yard though.

The old monastery built i. 1724, survived for 2 centuries until got dissolved. The church has been operating by a hieromonk since 1990, it took 100 years for it. You can see some of the excavations pieces found during searches after the church suffered losses during earthquakes. It is a very small church, but nice to visit the site

This place is like getting into the history. You can feel the smell of old times. Very well preserved. Amazing entrance and outside and even better inside. Wow. The acoustics inside is also fabulous. The Vienna concert was also from the highest qualities so the evening wad outstanding. Thank you.

Spectacular and amazing. You can t miss this place when in Bucharest. The overall style is neoclassical, with some more romantic touches. In front of the building there is a small park and a statue of Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu. Inside, the ground floor hosts an ornate conference hall as large as the auditorium above; in the auditorium there are 600 seats in the stalls, the rest of the seats being placed in 52 loges. You just need to see it yourself!

This is a MUST visit when in Bucharest!! We were lucky enough to get inside, very limited touring hours of 2-4PM (at least the day I went). Breathtaking architecture, stairs, and ceilings. When you walk into the theatre hall area it’s unbelievable. This was one of the top five highlights of our Bucharest trip.

I've never been inside, but I planned to do. This is an amazing building and in spring is lovely to make pictures. I recommend it. There is also the possibility to visit the building and see a Orchestra concert

The building is beautiful, but the inside is a gem. Built at the end of the XIX century, it is one of the most beautiful Athenaeums in Europe. Now, you can only go inside paying a fee of 10 lei, that are 2 euros, but you can only pay in cash, as in many other places in Bucharest, even in the XXI century. You can visit the hall in the main floor but also the auditorium as well. And if you are lucky enough as we were, you can see a performance during the rehearsals of the artists.

This place was totally awesome! The entrance is just massive and even the staircases were huge. We enjoyed a piano concert in the auditorium which is pretty modern. The whole experience was thoroughly fantastic and I would recommend attending a concert. It was pretty cheap by Western European standards. We bought our tickets on line through their website. It was pretty easy.

Must to visit. You may not have to attend a concert but pay 10 RON to view empty hall during the day time. Cash only. Worth a visit.

This is probably one of the most beautiful buidings in the whole country. So do not miss it. Also it has great acoustics, so listening to a live concert will be a delight.

The architectural jewel of Bucharest. The inside is more impressive than the outside. An ornate, domed, circular neoclassical building with elements of Romanticism with the function of a concert hall. Check to see if there is a performance, as I think you can attend unless you're a fan of the performance.

Wonderful acoustic, a joy to watch a performance here any time. The air is fresh so you don't get dizzy and the chairs are comfortable. If don't get a ticket for something it's still worth a visit for its architecture and history

What an atmosphere! Folk dancers were a nice surprise. We had such a great time here and it was recommended by locals. (Although they did tell us it’s owned by non-Romanian people now). The food was delicious and traditional and came out so quickly. The beer list is extensive and they had Romanian non-alcoholic options. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and location. There were dancers and music on the night we went there! The interior is amazing!! The coloured glass and hand carved wood! Food is very decent! We ordered more than we could handle as the portions are generous! We tried the pork knuckle (very big portion!), amazing beer soups, chicken and mixed meat stuff cabbage leaves. Great service! Definitely recommend a visit!

Second time here, but my first review... Kind and attentive service, even when busy. You will see (or at least I did) a "service manager" walking around, using an earpiece to ask questions to the servers about whether someone has their food or drink yet, and otherwise proactively ensuring the attentiveness of service. You really get a sense of being taken care of. Might recommend a reservation as it's a popular place. We sat outside and the ambiance was as-expected with terrace seating -- people strolling by, some wild kids, and some people are of course smoking, but nothing out of the ordinary. Generally very pleasant. Of course, there is also seating inside where you can also enjoy and absorb the stunning architecture, almost like a church, though I'm told it's always been a brewery. The food itself was very tasty, also well presented, and the wine selection shines great light on Romanian wines, which I've come to love. There are also international selections, but of course I'd recommend going local! They also serve beer -- local, light, dark, craft, bottle, draft, everything. I didn't use the toilet but I'm told it was clean, so good news there 👍 Looking forward to the next visit!

A very popular place amongst locals and tourists. Great that it’s huge, so likely you’ll always have a table. However, we booked a table just in case. I would suggest staying inside as the interior is magnificent. It’s very medieval and looks amazing. The food was nice. We tried some local Romanian food. It tasted good and the service was also fast. The waiters were attentive and helpful.

This is a typical tourist location. It was recommended to me by at least five different people as the great place for local cuisine. While the building and the atmosphere have a great vibe with live music and dance performances, the food isn't the best I've had. The local skinless sausages were nice, but the French fries were just awful - not crispy at all. There are better options to eat local food in Bucharest.

Went for a birthday dinner for two. Firstly the building is stunning with a great atmosphere. We were seated inside near the downstairs stairwell which wasn't ideal for a romantic evening out. The staff were fair, one waitress was fantastic and attentive but then another not so much. We ordered the Pheasants Platter and to be honest was disappointed. The whole plate was quite dry with nothing to make it stand out. We also ordered the venison which was amazing! Everything on that plate was a stand out. Overall I'd recommend it based on how beautiful the building is on its own but probably wouldn't go back.

My husband and I were in Bucharest at the end of our Viking cruise, and upon recommendation from a Romanian colleague, we made a reservation to dine at this historical place. This restored building is beautiful: the architecture, the paintings, and the stained glass. There were people walking in just to take pictures. We ordered their most popular dish: the house specialty roasted pork knuckle, for two, and it was humongous and delicious! It was enough to feed three to even four people! We also ordered salad and their “delicious dessert with hot chocolate filling” which turned out to be a lava cake. If you choose to order this dessert, expect to wait for 20 minutes or so. Their website mentions folk dance at 19:30. Somehow, I was picturing a continual dance show for 30 or 45 minutes, but it’s a sporadic dance show. Every few minutes, there’s one dance performance. Try to get a table that’s closest to the bar area in the center of the dining room; otherwise, it will be hard to see the dance with pillars half blocking the view and people clustering the main walkway area to take pictures and videos, blocking the view of those seated behind. It was worth visiting the place and eat there - food was good!

We were there for breakfast. We sat outside and I was really surprised that the waiter didn't talk English. City tours are going by and tell that it's the most old place and attracting tourists, but the waiter doesn't speak English. So it was hard to explain him what we wanted. Breakfast was too salty. We additionally ordered Pavlova desert and it was dry and brittle, felt like old.

Authentic vintage interior and live music create a great atmosphere. Incredibly delicious beans in bread, and the rest of the food was also very tasty. Service - perfect. They have a great organization and are not slow at all in serving the food. For dinner without a reservation you cannot sit as it is always full. The best restaurant in Romania.

One of the oldest beer houses in Bucharest. It's absolutely enormous with tons of indoor & outdoor seating. Great beer selection and I recommend asking what the house specials are. The decoration is absurdly good, really full of character Food is pretty good, with reasonable portions and prices. The sausage & mustard was excellent as was the vegetarian platter. Service is a bit hectic with too few waiters per block of tables.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Excellent traditional romanian food, friendly servers. We had a live show during our dinner which was lovely. It's also a historic building. We reserved the balcony and it was the best choice hands down as we were able to see the show very well.

I think I've been here before, but must have sit only outside since I don't remember the interior. It's gorgeous. Definitely worth a visit. Food was very good. Eggplant salad is not as tasty as the one made home (note applies only to Romanians), but still pretty decent. French fries are not crispy (since I've seen this in a review), but that's quite traditional. They were very good. Service was good (4/5).

I have never eaten such good food, each dish seems like a house specialty, and the prices are more than fair for what you eat. The staff is particularly friendly and welcoming, they also accepted our request to stay on the upper floor. The environment is traditional, something you don't find around, I will definitely go back to try other dishes!

Very nice ambient and location, true hard rock cafe style, good dishes, nice people, but of course crowded and pricy. From their opening until today every time was about good experiences , but still not very good sound in live music, although music in general is very good and sounds well.... A week later, another good experience even if the fire on ribs was a little too much...

Super atmosphere and very cool decorated! The service was very good and the food delicious. The dishes sizes are quite big, but on some of them you can order half size. It was a very pleasant experience!

This place has been recommended by a friend of ours. So Hard Rock Cafe was on our list the day we decided to come to Romania. The atmosphere and ambiance is great, staff are super friendly and they all communicate pretty well in English. There’s both an indoor seating and an outdoor terrace, food variety is diverse and prices are fair enough. We ordered sliders and onion rings as a side and they both were massive, we’ve also tried their signature dessert that I can’t recall the name of but it’s delicious with brownies and the bottom, and ice cream and whipped cream at the top. Last food order is at 10:00 when we were there so pay attention to that when you go and the place closes around midnight

Awesome location in a large parc in the middle of the city. Proper tasty food and live events make Hard Rock Cafe an ideal choice for a night out.

One of the biggest hard rock cafes I've been to. Very friendly staff, especially when the wife asks to be seated inside then outside, they catered to our requests with a smile. Great music whilst you eat, with easy to see screens for those music videos. Loved the little touches by using half metal guitar moulds as handles for the bathrooms. And the option to open the door using your forearm after you've visited the bathroom. Service started quick but towards the end took a while to get a drink refilled and get the bill. These were the only issues we had and even then very minor in my opinion. The food itself was fantastic, especially with the vegetarian options.

Although there were many empty seats, the receptionist told us that we had to wait for 1 hour to be seated. Unfortunately this probably means that their capacity to prepare drinks and food is very slow and they cannot afford the place full of people… This is what we didn’t like. On the other hand, the interior of the Hard Rock Cafe was very nice with very interesting objects that belonged to many famous rock stars.

I visited several Hard Rock Cafe's around the world and absolutely loved the Hard Rock Cafe Bucharest! Located by a lake, it is easily accessible by car or just by the tram/bus station. All the servers were extremely helpful on my multiple visits, especially George and Paul (manager). Great guys! Everything is very well executed, from the sizzling chicken fajitas, southwestern chicken salad, legendary burger and surf and turf burger! All great hrc classics. Visited again at the bar and our bartender Alex and sure shake up a mean cocktail! Very good selection of Bucharest merch! A must visit to any hrc fan 🤘

I came here twice during my stay in Bucharest. The first time I accidentally forgot to tip the waiter! Woops! However, it didn't impact my service when I returned for a second visit (I tipped double). I've never seen a Rick James music video play on so many TVs simultaneously! The venue is absolutely lovely too. As for the cookies and cream milkshake? Absolutely delicious! I only recommend a price drop. Definitely the most expensive place I ate at in Bucharest!

A wonderful place in the park. Cozy, comfy and quality music. I really liked the service, the staff was topnotch, and the food was excellent, well done and juicy. The venue is great for live music in an intimate atmosphere with a wonderful acoustic. I recommend it full heartedly.

Lovely food. Almost non existent service. The folk band and dancers were brilliant. Very generous portions. It was really hard to get a waiters attention but it is a busy place. Excellent dinner with an amazing atmosphere. Our waiter (Romeo) was great, very polite, made great recommendations and was very attentive. Food was served very quickly and was the best mici we had in all of Romania. You must try traditional Romanian donuts. Overall best experience in dining! Highly recommend!

Beautiful medieval restaurant with a huge interior terrace. The staff is very welcoming. Good food in general with a pretty large selection. If you have the chance to find it available when you visit, I recommend the bone marrow with gresh grated horseradish. It is absolutely fantastic. No parking, but you can park in one of the city centre car parks.

This is the perfect place in Bucharest when you want to see somewhere authentic and peaceful. It’s interior garden is wonderful and there are cafes and restaurants in it. You can visit here and enjoy your time. It used to be used as a hotel in old times for the merchants and they preserve the environment and the building. Its massive, multiply balconied courtyard hosted many performances and fairs and was a popular place for Romanian Television crews to shoot folkloric performances.

Very cozy and authentic restaurant ! We were visiting Bucharest for the weekend and wanted to try some typical Romanian cuisine. A friends of ours took us there. Not only the food was great but the atmosphere as well. There were a music band and a folklore dancers which was so cool. Staff did great job although the place was packed. We ordered plateaus with different types of meat and they were all really tasty. Strongly recommend. :)

First visit to this old inn/restaurant on my last day of my Romania trip. I liked it quite a bit. The service is really good and the waiters are attentive and friendly and even made an extra suggestion to go with the dish that I ordered as it is more traditional which I wanted to try. The restaurant in itself does not look fancy but it preserves the old style and it is very cozy inside. It felt good to sit in there. The food was in my opinion good and the prices were also fine. All in all good restaurant.

An amazing experience. I consider this local restaurant a must visit if you are in Bucharest. We had our best meal in this restaurant. First of all, it is a very spacious restaurant with both outside and inside options. The menu has a great variety of traditional cuisine and everything that we tried was perfectly cooked! Great place, good food, kinda weird prices and the menu is kinda weirdly designed, so it's not the easiest thing to read. It's spacious, nicely decorated, live music, it's traditional Romanian and not only. We even joined a traditional dance. Overall nice experience and many tables. The location is perfect.

We order, traditional pork with cabbage,grill eggplant(a bit small compared to price), bean soup with smoke pork. Worth to mentioned, when u make the payment, they will tell you that u must pay the service tips which is not include either 10,12% or above

The food is always excellent. The place looks amazing, traditional, and has a lot of history. The serving can be nice or not that nice, depending on how lucky you are. I had wonderful experiences in terms of serving but also one or two rude waiters, that were not so attentive to what I've ordered, their approach was not professional etc. Considering the place and the prices, this aspect needs more attention from the management. Overall, a very nice experience.

Highly recommend the turkey leg. This place have a looot of table so the service is quite slow. You need to wave the waiters to come at your table otherwise nothing will happen. Food is delightful and has good price for the portion size. Tax and tips will be added to the final bill.

If you are a tourist, whether Romanian or foreign, and you want to serve a meal, you must stop at the "Manuc Inn" (Hanul lui Manuc). I guarantee you won't regret it. The look of the venue will take you on a journey through time, with a warm, party atmosphere, fiddle music played live by the band, outdoor dining, delicious food, with locally produced cucumbers and sauerkraut and last but not least, you have to feel the taste of craft beer under the auspices of the restaurant.

Very nice location and great entertainment during our evening. Our food was very tasty, especially the lamb and tomahawk steak. Very good house beer, weissbeer and palinka. The service team is really fast and friendly, especially Silvia was great!

The atmosphere it's extremely nice, besides the view you can enjoy in most of the evenings live music. Why I cannot give 5 stars for everything it's because I was expecting a more delicious food. It's not bad but also doesn't meet the expectation of the place. Overall I recommend this place.

Looking for a place that gets you on top of the city and offers an exquisite experience? Great view and atmosphere. The food is very tasty and gourmet. The guys that serve are very polite, very quick and they offer good recommendations. It’s true that the restaurant is on the higher end in terms of price, but if you want to spoil your loved ones and yourself - it does not matter.

The food was amazing and our waitress Miriam was outstanding, she couldn't have been more helpful in selecting a local red wine to pair with the tuna linguine. The setting was excellent too, great views of the city. Chilled vibes. Very highly recommended

Very disappointed by the restaurant, the rating is inflated, here's why: I ordered Uruguay Beef entrecôte with Medium Rare meat (raw inside), but they brought me Well Done (it is elastic and without raw and even without meat juice) - the rating of the dish is 0 out of 10. To continue, the side dish was Mashed Potatoes with Truffle, the taste of the potatoes was the same as the potatoes that were warmed up (heated not the first time, it was felt in the taste), rating 0 out of 10, it was disgusting. Then there was the Italian Aperitif (starter), how did the beetroot end up in the “Italian aperitif” dish? What is there besides Italian mozzarella? Tomato? avocado? nothing, the rating of the dish is 0 out of 10. The chicken breast was elastic dense (having no juiciness), it looked like a frozen one that was thawed, it tasted 2 out of 10. The cocktail was rated 7 out of 10, that is, normal. The waiters served politely, but not everyone knew English. Good view of the city. I do not recommend eating here. I recommend to come to drink 1 cocktail or a cup of coffee. Thank you for reading to the end!

The whole building is amazing. The restaurant's dedicated lookout and smoking terrace on the 36th floor provides a fantastic view to Bucharest. The menu is nice, I had "The Wonderful Crispy Salmon", and it was truly wonderful, with the broccoli puree. Service is also nice, though our waiter wasn't the quickest. Overall I had a great time and would recommend and also visit this place again.

The place itself feels nice and the view is truly amazing. It doesn't look very luxurious on the inside, taking more of a classical approach. The food was good but it didn't write impressive on it. To be honest I expected a bit more for such a pricey restaurant. We got the "Holiday mussels" and "The wonderful crispy salmon". The drink I chose was something I never had before "Nor 36", felt like a cheesecake in a glass. It was good. As with the dessert we chose the "Papanashi" that looked truly amazing, but they could have had a bit more sauce. If you're a fan of cotton candy you should definitely try the "One cloud above the chocolate nest" - it lasts an impression. What I didn't like was that the service was very late and we had to ask several times for the menu or the check from different waiters even if the place was pretty empty in that day. Also, the table we were seated at felt pretty uncomfortable. The table was quite low and the chairs felt a bit higher for them so we ended up with a very uncomfortable position for our backs. The prices can be considered pretty spicey, definitely above average. In my case is not the type of place I'd visit again very soon, but it's worth to visit it at least once, especially for the experience of watching how everything looks like from floor 36.

Great restaurant with fantastic food and an amazing view (36th floor). Take a table at the window and enjoy the evening. Perfect location for a sundowner. They serve a few vegetarian and vegan dishes.

We had a lovely evening. We were served by Alex O. He was very polite and served us fast. The food was great. Well done duck and steak. The view is also amazing. I enjoyed the live music as well.

Amazing views, good service and delicious food. They are respecting the distancing rules during this Pandemic with masks having to be worn until you reach the table. Wardrobe area can be used to leave your jacket as it’s pretty warm inside. Baby chair available to be brought at the table, yet we found there is no changing table in the bathrooms and we consider this to be essential when out with a toddler. I’ve struggled a bit to change our little one in the ladies room. If they would add a changing table in the bathroom, the entire experience would be more comfortable and enjoyable.

Location is unique, no other place in Bucharest to get this view. Service, outfit and reservation quite smooth. Menu rather dull and limited to fancy names for classic stuff. Tasty and well prepared but without any personal touch, except maybe desserts. Pricing towards high but reasonable for the location. Live music of good classy quality, although too loud. Would recommend for informal dining.

We're not ones for expensive restaurants, but we were gifted a voucher for a dinner at Nor Sky. I have to say, I was impressed by all the courses, and of course, the nice view. We started off with prosseco and bruschetti party with olives, tomatoes and cheeses. The bread was soft and smooth, it was a good way to begin. Then the main course followed with duck breast and salmon, respectively. It had a side dish of sweet potato paste and gravy. Quite good. The last thing was the desert: cheesecake and chocolate cloud. I really liked the aesthics of them both. Very creative. The view, besides being in one of the most commercial and bland districts of Bucharest (Pipera), it was nice to see everything from that height. Our waiter was very respectful and attentive. The prices are indeed high, but it comes with a five stars location and fine dining.

Very good food. The Peasant Pork Soup was a little salty but it was delicious. The duck one was really good too. Had a combination of different sausages (can’t remember the name of the dish) which was delicious as well. Live music and the atmosphere was very very good. Plus they were able to sit us at 8pm with no reservation, which is surprising as they were very full. All in all, 5/5 would recommend!

I had a great time on a food crawl to this place. It’s beautifully decorated and the servers are super helpful, especially Cristian Gabriel. Five stars for atmosphere as well. The desserts were tasty and Cristian Gabriel even included a dessert history lesson on Joffre the French general, not the king from King’s Landing. Great little restaurant. Highly recommend.

We came to this restaurant for dinner based on the higher reviews, however we found that it was overrated and the reviews did not really reflect the reality. Staff were a bit cold and just gave us judgmental looks. The place was extremely hot there was no fans in the courtyard where we sat. The food came out pretty quickly but that only meant that everything was prepared beforehand. On that note the food was pretty bland and it was lukewarm, not even hot. The only dish worth mentioning was the Hummus. Overall pretty expensive for very average low quality food. Grilled vegetables had 0 flavour, the baked potatoes were more like boiled and again no flavour. The cabbage salad had been dressed beforehand so it was soggy and a small portion.

Excellent service, just impeccable. Great food as always with a great outdoor atmosphere. the golden standard in restaurants... The deserts, the meats, the serving, everything is impeccable, i love coming back, i enjoy the atmosphere too, they are great.

What an experience! Authentic flavoursome dishes served with courtesy and incredible hospitality all packed in a lively environment. The restaurant is a bit tucked away from the center but it is well worth a visit, it is where local go therefore won’t be disappointed with food. Prices are very reasonable in comparison with quality and size of portions, highly recommended!

Quite a unique restaurant located just near the Parliament, with mixed cuisine. Both the exterior and interior are beautiful, and serve as an opportunity to tap into the beautiful architecture certain locations around Romania have to showcase. The food was quite basic, unfortunately, out of a large group of people that came with me, only a few actually liked their dishes. Some of the food was not brought to us at all, including salads from the afternoon menu as well as some drinks. Perhaps, this is what dropped the potential 5 stars - to 3. The staff was nice and polite. Overall, the restaurant is worth visiting, just do not have elevated hopes in regard to the quality of food.

Great Romanian food. You can’t go wrong here. Also one of the best value for money places in Bucharest. You can eat here everyday. They have a big terrace where you can enjoy amazing meals amongst the locals. And the Papanasi is to die for.

Top restaurant in a very historic looking building. The ambiance is nice. The decor takes you years and years back. The staff was amazing. A friendly young team, but with attention for details and very good suggestions. The food was amazing!

The restaurant has a secluded nice spot - a winery where you can gather with a few buddies and order amazing wines, beer and any strong spirits you wish for. The schnitzel was amazing and the atmosphere is great. Tasty and enjoyfull. You might gain a couple of pounds but oh well... you must, and I mean MUST, order dessert. The papanasi are to die for.
