We really do enjoy this theme park!!! The atmosphere is is nice, they are rides for all ages ( the roller coasters are AMAZING), the scenery is wonderful, and we only had a problem with one worker. (She was running the kiddie coaster.) I removed a star because the first day we went was absolutely packed. I get it, it is a theme park so it is going to be busy, but this was a weekday and we were literally shoulder to shoulder with everyone! They were understaffed and the lines for all the rides were so long! I feel like on days it is going to be super busy they should NOT allow so many people to come in. Besides that I would definitely recommend this theme park.

This park is truly one of a kind. It's a theme park that has a unique, old-fashioned feel to it, which sets it apart from other theme parks. The rides are thrilling and exciting, but there are also plenty of fun activities for those who don't like rides. The food is delicious, and there are plenty of options to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. The park is also clean and well-maintained, which makes for a pleasant experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Silver Dollar City to anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience!

Silver dollar city is a beautiful park with a lot of activities,events,foods and rides. There were restrooms and chairs to rest. They will provide detailed map of silver dollar city like name of rides, shows with time, restaurant using numbers. There is a regular to diamond VIP pass, you can upgrade when you want. Water is free all over park. Foods we're amazing. Beverages can be refilled at any shop by paying money. Saloon show was amazing, filled audience with laugh and entertainment. All rides has their height limit for kids to ride. Safety measures are followed throughout park. There are multiple areas to visit. You should be ready to walk a lot. Beautiful park with entertainment and many things to enjoy.

Our first time here. We were impressed with the family friendly atmosphere and the amazing Christmas lights. Our teenagers' expectations of the rides were far exceeded. They even asked to come again in the future. The layout of the park takes a bit of getting used to. In the large crowd (I heard there was record attendance on the day we were there, 12/30/21), I don't feel like we were able to see everything and not being familiar with the layout hurt us. The lines for dining were excessive but I'm not sure if that is normal. The teens had the express passes and felt like they were able to enjoy the experiences. My husband and I just took in the sights and enjoyed taking in things slowly. The show, Home for the Holidays was excellent. Again, when you can impress everyone in the group including teens, you are doing it right. The food at the buffet was not good, bland and heavy, but I have no way of knowing if that's normal or a result of large crowds and short staffing. I would be willing to try again. Overall, I highly recommend Silver Dollar City for the excellent family experiences.

We really enjoyed our time here. We got the "after 5" tickets and had plenty of time for the kids to ride what they wanted and adults time to shop. We absolutely LOVED the vendors in the barn! Honey pecans! YUM! The gentlemen with the furs were so sweet and taught us all about the different furs! The rest of the employees were so engaging and helpful! All the fall decor was super cute! Employees were all so polite and helpful! We will definitely return!

Having only been to Six Flags theme parks around the United States, this little park really surprised me! First off, the staff is so fun and you can tell they really do enjoy what they are doing. Very helpful too. The main rides are fun, my personal favorite was Time Traveller and Wild Fire. The view you get from Wild Fire is breathtaking! I highly recommend going in the off season. We happened to be there yesterday (April 21st, 2023) and legit had no lines and got to ride everything 4 times each. It was perfect! Great weather too. I will say some parts of the park are a little steep to walk but overall it wasn’t bad. I can’t wait to come back here! Also, if you choose the “Free Parking” line and go to stop 5, there is a bus that picks you up right there and drives you to the front so you don’t have to walk. When you are ready to leave just find the stop 5 pick up and the bus will take you back! It was super convenient and was great because of how tired we were by then lol.

I have a few complaints and suggestions but over all we had a great time. Our boys are 15 & 17 and hard to entertain but they enjoyed the park and it’s rides. We did a 3 day pass most will tell you two days is fine. I however enjoyed taking our time and seeing every show and eating at our leisure.

I have been coming to this park since I was a little girl and now I'm bringing my little ones! I have been to the park hundreds of times and it's worth it every year!! I have really enjoyed getting to grow up coming to the park and seeing all the changes and improvements! All the rides are thrilling and all of the shows and shops are worth seeing!! A perfect family friendly park to visit! It's also worth mentioning that over the years the park has seemed busier and busier and they have even expanded their parking lots. I used to live in Springfield Mo which is not very far from the park but since I have moved to Fayetteville AR, over 2 hours away I have found it's better to buy the trail blazer passes that last all season. With how busy the park gets almost every day it let's us skip the lines to the roller coasters and gives us more time to really enjoy the park. Without the trail blazer passes you will easily spend over an hour waiting in line for any of the rides. We once waited over two hours just to ride time traveler. So it's definitely worth getting trail blazer passes! Also, the different festivals each season is amazing and they have the BEST Christmas lights in the whole world!!

Over 6.5 million Christmas lights, it looks like pure Christmas magic! The whole family enjoyed it especially all the rides and the 20-minute train ride. We did have to wait about 1.5 hours to ride the train and to get on was like letting sheep out, there was no rhyme or reason and people cut you in line. They should have a better system for this because my parents are disabled and they were getting cut and almost did not get a seat on the train after standing for far too long in that line. We only went for 3 hours but if you pay all of that money, make it a whole day thing and get your money’s worth. The lines were way too long, I felt like I was at Disney World but without the fast passes. For a family of 4, 2 kids and 2 adults, it was about $300 for 3 hours and most of that time was spent split up and waiting for the train and waiting for the roller coaster rides. Since it was right after Christmas, all of their Christmas items in the gift shops were 75% off but finding your way around the place was a nightmare and the workers in the shops were not helpful. We spent so much time trying to find something that was located in the giftshop and none of the three workers we asked, told us it was located there. Too many slopes too, hard to get around if you’re disabled or older. Good thing it was not snowing or icy outside because it seemed it would be difficult to get around on the uneven ground.

This place is AWESOME! Tons of things to do for a full day of fun for ALL ages. Everything is kept clean - even the bathrooms! Lots of shade! Workers were friendly and always helpful. Definitely check out Marvel Cave tour and Time Traveler. I got better ticket deals online. We went during a weekday & it's was perfect!

We came on a Saturday evening after 5 so we were able to purchase the $40 per person half price tickets. It rained for a little while, but we were still able to ride Fire in the Hole (this is the last year it will be in operation), go through Grandpa's house, and see plenty of shops and interesting sights during the rain. All of the employees were extremely helpful and nice. Time Traveler and Powder Keg were mine and my husband's favorite rides. Our teenage daughter thoroughly enjoyed the ABBA tribute band in the Amphitheater and she and our 9 year old nephew both enjoyed the outdoor jazz band. We definitely want to come back when we can purchase a season pass (much cheaper than purchasing full price tickets for more than one day) because there is so much to see and do. We definitely got our money's worth in the few hours we were there and even got to stop and see the beautiful nightly fireworks show up close as we were exiting.

Get ready to pay up. It's a great family friendly amuseement park. There's plenty of food, crafts, and rides, but you better bring plenty of money. It costs dearly. There's a cave tour at the beginning of the park. Be sure to check it out. (My personal favorite ride is the Time Traveler. Amazing experience!)

First time going. I was impressed. The hidden star is the cave tour though. If you are um....let's say um ...a little more blessed downstairs then a couple of the rides are going to be a no go due to seat design(was no way, no how). But the rides were pretty fun. My lady enjoyed all of them. The glass blowing demonstration is cool. I just wish they spoke more on technique but who am I? Didn't get to see a lot of the craftsman demonstrations. But I will next time. This place is good family fun for less than big time theme parks. Food is relatively inexpensive for being locked in a park .

Updated review: I first need to apologize to the Haygoods for my previous review. My review should have been for the theater itself and not their performance. We would have had a great time listening to them had it not been for the horrible seats that we had, which were suggested by a lady in the ticket booth. Timothy Haygood contacted me about my review and wanted to see what they could do to make our experience more enjoyable. I must say he went to extreme measures to contact me and accommodate my family. I can't speak anymore highly of someone who would do that. They have offered us some tickets in the future and we will be returning. I am so looking forward to seeing their show again.

Okay look, this show is off the chain. Run don't walk to get tickets. The family show is largely under-hyped. This show is nothing like you might have read, it is legions better than you thought it would be. From unexpected laughs, to amazing stunts, musical creative excellence and a harp. No, let me give that more attention...A HARP act that will leave you wanting more. I don't have the vocabulary to give the Haygood family show justice. Well worth every penny for admission.

We went to Brason for are family Christmas trip we do every year for the past 8 years. But Two years ago we found out about the Haygoods show. We checked it out and fell in love with the show. They all sing so wonderful,we love how energetic they all are. And the Bango Boy is so funny. We got great laughs out of that show for sure. And they are all so talented. We went to 6 different shows and my whole family and me said that that was are favorite one of all. Highly recommend

Wow! This show is awesome. It's personal. It's exciting. It's mesmerizing. It's absolutely amazing how talented this family is. Any of them can pick up any instrument and rock! Tap too! It's a whole lot of fun.

Wow What a great show. They are very talented and get the audience participation included. Do not worry, it is only in cheering, singing and beach ball hitting. Nothing embarrassing or on stage. Just fun for all.

We LOVED this show! No matter what your age is, you are going to have a great time! We saw quite a few shows during our stay and this is by far the best one! I would 10000% recommend going! Just an all around great family show!

What a talented and gifted family! The Haygoods did a great job of covering a variety of genres all over the decades. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 starts is because the “in between songs” entertainment was not very humorous. I could have gone without that. But I would definitely recommend them if you enjoy live music. I also really enjoyed the tap dancing and harp. Absolutely breathtaking!

Wholesome outstanding family entertainment!!! Could not ask for a better performance. I'm a solo traveler and wanted to catch a show while in town. I had a ball at The Haygoods show! I sat in the VIP first row of the balcony directly in the center. Best seat in the house! My favorite part was Catherine on the harp. Phenomenal. God bless the Haygood family for putting their heart and soul into their life's work. I can only imagine how proud their parents must be. Thank you for a lovely night of top caliber entertainment.

Great show, very family friendly. My kids enjoyed it. The theater was really awful as the seats are positioned very poorly, the view is unfortunately the guys head in front of you. The Haygoods were so good, they deserve to perform in a much better theater. We loved the pyrotechnics, the different instruments, and all ranges of genres. Well done!

The talent this family has is incredible! They put on an awesome show from beginning to end! You never knew what was going to happen next! Amazing special effects and mind blowing show!

I have never seen anything like this show! My mom & I loved everything about it. Entertaining, magical, funny, touching & fun! My fave was definitely the tap dancing. And the surprise of them tapping to AC/DC's Thunderstruck was awesome! They covered so many music genres. Other reviews say something for everyone, there truly is! And how many times have you seen a harpist?! Catherine makes playing that beautiful and intriguing. Dominic was my fave! 😁

Loved this place. Has some really cool items from the Titanic. A few interactive things you can do. Lots of History. Can't wait to go back. Great experience. Love the deck set up and it's the same temp that it was on the night Titanic sank. Also, you can touch and artificial Iceberg and put your hand in a bowl of water that's the same temp as the Ocean when the Titanic sank.

I've been wanting to see this museum for years and it was worth the money and the trip. The staff is dressed in clothes that the titanic crew would wear, they were friendly and informative. You get an audio guide to give you info on the exhibits and artifacts. You get to touch and iceberg, experience the water temperature, and see lots of artifacts. You get a boarding pass of a real life passenger and at the end you see if you survived. It left a deep impression on the history of the titanic.

Very knowledgeable staff. We all got a card of a passenger and then was able to see if our passenger survived at the end of the tour. It is self paced which is nice. Per instructions, we were to stay in our car and wait for a text. This never happened, so glad we went in and checked as this was not the case. Wearing a mask was annoying and staff policing it was annoying, "has to be over your nose", etc.

So much history and so beautifully displayed! The actual artifacts and the replica of the ship is great! You are provided with little audio players to carry with you that give you information depending the number you enter. We ordered tickets ahead of time, very smooth. All around A+! Check it out!

It was very enjoyable. A lot of history, artifacts, and pictures. The outside is impressive, the first class rooms, and the Grand Staircase were my favorite. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was not too busy.

This was a fun and informative experience with multiple “relics” from the famous ship. Guests are provided with devices to listen along the tour. We had tickets for 2:30 pm but didn’t enter until close to 3. It was PACKED. We mistakenly thought that there would be one group of people during each time slot but it was difficult to view all of the exhibits with so many people. My favorite part was the grand staircase!

We had a great time going through the museum and seeing interesting facts, photos and some Titanic Items from the ship. It takes about a good hour or so to go through depending on the crowd and time of day you book the tour. It is cold in the museum and you may want to carry a jacket. My wife was happy she had her jacket that day and she wore blue jeans. Staff was very friendly and overall we had a great visit.

Had a great time at the Pierce Arrow Theatre! They started with an amazing National Anthem story/ tribute. I'm a patriot, so for me, this was Phenomenal!!!! Very talented musicians and singing group. They had a good variety of music styles. The comedy was witty, clean and very funny. One of the performers wasnt there and there weren't many people present as it was an early season performance for area appreciation. But they performed as if there were 10,000 watching. They played and sang with all they had, with all their hearts. I thank them for that! The show was very family friendly! From the person on the phone when ordering tickets to the popcorn stand to the ushers... everyone was so friendly. Concession prices were very reasonable- way cheaper than a movie Concessions prices. The performers interacted very well with the audience. They seemed to be having fun rather than performing as a job. The lobby, bathroom.. everything was very clean. Would recommend and would go again!

I had wanted to see them for a long time. My husband and I were so glad we went. These guys can sing anything and put on a performance you would have to see to believe. The comedy act was great also. I'm so glad we got to see them!

Saw 2 shows, Decades which was rock and roll from the 60's, 70's and 80's with some new stuff and also their Country show. Both shows were excellent and the comedian they use to entertain during costume changes was hilarious. I would definitely recommend and go back to see again.

We went to the Country show and expected to hear a lot more country music. Lots of gospel songs which I found interesting. The guys sound great together and the fill in comedian was funny. Definitely not Vegas quality but was entertaining!! I would like to come back and see their other show they offer!

We had a great experience today at the zoo. We did the VIP package and we’re so happy we did. Our tram driver had a great sense of humor, as did our small animal encounter handler. On the tram ride, our favorite was feeding Cocoa the camel. The emus and ostriches were a bit aggressive, but it was still an entertaining experience. During the small animal encounter we were able to pet a prairie dog, and hold a lemur and ball python. On the self guided walking tour we enjoyed seeing the giraffe, but it was just slightly out of reach for the kids to feed, but I understand that’s for safety. Feeding the goats was hilarious. They’re noisy and very friendly. Feeding the ponies was fun too, and the kangaroos were surprisingly gentle. I wasn’t expecting to be able to pet one. Overall a very fun experience we all enjoyed, but I’m not sure we’d do it again when we return to Branson. Maybe if the temperature outside is more tolerable. It was terribly hot and humid today. My kids really wanted to play on the playground near the giraffe enclosure, but it was too hot to enjoy themselves.

We had a wonderful time! The Ultimate Excursion is worth every penny! Kelly was an amazing guide! I am not a zoo person! I did this for my daughter because she loves sloths. I really enjoyed our time!

Heard of this for years but finally got the chance to go this year. It is DEFINITELY worth the price of admission! It’s easier than going to a huge zoo and having to walk the whole time or find your way around. Some of the animal exhibits you can go inside and get closer to the animals. The giraffes especially are awesome and some of the iguanas and other reptiles! Really fun, family-friendly and enjoyable experience. This is a must see while in Branson. Highly recommend and would definitely come back again!

We loved this zoo. I’d definitely recommend the VIP tickets. Getting to be close up and hold/pet the animals was an awesome experience! The keeper was knowledgeable, and we enjoyed the walking and driving tours also. For the VIP part we got over an hour so the a small group and got to see/pet/interact with a sloth, cavy, prairie dog, snake, and baby Joey. This is a visit we will remember for a lifetime!

This is a nice little zoo. The walk thru part was fun but some of the animals were a bit far in between so there was a lot of walking. They had animal encounters if you wanted to pay extra for that. We did not but we watched others who did and it looked fun. The drive thru part I think was the best. The animals get right up in your car and beg for god. They are adorable and super friendly. Plan to spend a good couple of hours there to do both parts.

Oh wow! What a great way to meet animals! So fun, so educational, so much concern and compassion for both animal and visitor. Excellent choice of animals and activities. Staff was informed and patient. A great day even in the rain! Thank you!

We bought tickets ahead of time & arrived earlier than scheduled. The zoo keeper who did our ultimate excursion made it so worth it. We played with a baby spider monkey & her exhibit mate (forgot what she is), a baby cereal, petted gerbils and armadillos. Then we went on the guided drive tour. Fed everything there was to see. Fed spotted owls & the giraffe. I would say to wait to order tickets until the day of or just a few before hand. No refund if something comes up & you can't make it. They will reschedule but if your from outta state like we are that's a little difficult to do.

We had a wonderful time at Promise Land Zoo! Every employee that we encountered was so helpful and friendly! We absolutely loved the VIP lounge. It’s was so amazing to hold a baby kangaroo, and interact with an African serval cat, sloths, Patagonian cavy, snake, and other animals. The drive through feeding area was a blast. The animals would put their heads in our car window and allow us to pet and feed them. DO NOT forget to buy the food! So much fun and lots of laughs!!! We highly recommend this zoo for your family!

We had a great time there. The staff was all great, especially the guy that gave us the VIP experience. The scriptural verses were very nice too. As far as the time we spent there, I believe it's up to the particular group that goes through the tour. Wonderful time.

This was an incredible farm to table find! Amazing food and incredible service by the students at College of the Ozarks. We were fortunate enough to be there when the local elementary students sang Christmas songs and handed out cards. We were there for lunch and had the tomato jam burger, chicken salad sandwich, fries and potato leek soup. Included we’re the best cranberry biscuits ever, rolls and after dinner mints. Try the homemade ice cream from the on campus dairy!

We came to visit the museum and the he wife wanted to try this restaurant. It was an interesting experience: everyone working there were college students and a lot of the food was produced there. We all enjoyed our dinner, forgot about photos of the food, and our waiter was cordial and very helpful. I got the rib-eye while the wife got the chicken-fried steak. After dinner we enjoyed a nice ice cream cone: the ice cream being a product of the college dairy farm. Everything was clean and well kept

I love the concept of students working to pay for their education as well as the farm to table concept. The food was wonderful, the student server was very attentive. The reason it got a four instead of a five was the kitchen sent my entree out way too soon. I had barely started the soup when my meal arrived. If you're going to market as a fine dining experience then you need to get the timing a little bit better with the kitchen. I was put into a quandary whether to eat the soup while it was hot or eat my meal while it was hot. The pricing is a little bit on the high side, but for that price I would like to be able to take my time and enjoy the meal appropriately.

Fabulous Thanksgiving Buffet, overall! Expensive, but worth it for 2 of us as a new holiday dining experience! Great service. Great desserts. Coffee not included with buffet, but it should be for $58pp plus a generous tip. Some foods slightly too salty, but the food was overall amazingly good and the choices were numerous. Thanks to all who put this on Thursday and Sunday over the holiday weekend!

Excellent food. I got the Chicken Fried Chicken (yes, that's what it is called) and it was fantastic. Savory with the correct amount of crunch, and perfectly tender. The server was very polite, and went above and beyond in her service. The only thing I would recommend is not getting the desserts. They are good and look beautiful, but flavor wise, not worth the price. Unless you are getting the icecream. It is not only a unique place where students prepare and serve the meals, it also is a top quality of the food they serve. Everything I have eaten there was way above the average American restaurant and I would totally eat again. For us it's a must for every Branson visit and I highly recommend it to everyone.

The staff (students at the college) are amazing! They are very well spoken, courteous and always one step ahead of your expectations. The food was delicious!!

Wonderful experience! Delicious food!!! The service here was the best we have experienced for a restaurant. All of the food was delicious from the breakfast to the salad bar to the desserts. Beautiful piano playing by several talented students while we were eating. Just wish they offered the brunch on Saturday also.

Top notch meal! Not shown online, but I had the Brussels sprout nachos - fried pasta chips, Brussels sprouts, pickled onions, corn sauce, avocado cream. Excellent flavors! The starter breads and spreads were fresh from the oven. I would’ve asked for more had the nachos not been so filling. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special meal out. Then walk around campus and check out the scripture garden and fountain. Such beautiful grounds!

Amazing food, impeccable service and relaxing atmosphere! Madison from Missouri, a senior at the college, was so friendly and told us all about the school. The food was delish! We had the meatloaf and the ravioli, which was so delicate and beautifully prepared. The BlackBerry cobbler was Life changing!

This is a beautiful place, inside and out. I love that the students can graduate debt free by working through school, all the while getting real world experience. The service is excellent and there are a lot of his options on the menu. They make the ice cream with milk from cows that they milked on site! I was slightly disappointed by the food. I asked for a medium steal and it was medium well. A place like this should always get that right. There wasn't too much flavor either. But most others at the table enjoyed their meals.

Worth the wait. 👍🏻 Hour wait (party of 6) at just before 5pm on a Tuesday evening. The menu has plenty of options of classic diner fare. Kids menu is varied as well. The atmosphere is a fun 50's diner and your server also sings! If you are sensitive to loud sounds, people invading your space or wanting to have meaningful conversation while dining- this is not the place for you. 😬 The service & staff was efficient. Everyone seemed like they were enjoying their time even though the place was packed!

The menu is posted in pictures 👍. Nestled in a shopping center if you're not looking for it you will drive right by it. All the glamour of The Boardwalk draws your eyes away from their small sign along 76. I'm so glad we found this place. It's a fun place to eat and be entertained! I had an amazing time! The food was delicious 😋 and our waitress sang beautifully. The atmosphere is not a quiet one but a beautiful one. The staff are singing and letting you know they enjoy you being there. The Reuben was perfect and the Veggie Burger was an excellent Vegan choice. The fries are crispy and served hot. The place is clean and wiped down. I highly recommend you try it out but most of all enjoy the singing and request a special song. Who knows they may sing it for you!

Very friendly staff. Our waiter was fantastic. The staff all take turns singing while you eat. They have all kinds of memorabilia on the walls. Food came out fast and was very good. My wife and I had the patty, and our son had the chicken sandwich. The dessert was even better. We had the lava cake, carrot cake, and the 2 scoop sundae. Very family friendly. Would highly recommend.

I came here at lunchtime, they were busy, but we were still seated in a timely manner. All staff members were so nice and I LOVED the old fashioned decor and feel. The wait staff were all very talented singers. And our food was absolutely fantastic. It didn’t take super long to get and portion sizes were well worth the cost. The milkshakes seem pricy but they are so good, and there’s plenty of it. I highly recommend this diner!

We stopped in here for dinner and discovered the waitresses and waiters take turns singing songs. We were greeted at the door and promptly seated. The food was good; we had onion rings as an appetizer which was very good. I got the Philly cheesesteak while the wife ordered the catfish. It was all prompt and was delicious. Then we got dessert….

Wonderful experience, good for families with younger children. However, people who are autistic or sensitive to loud noises may have troubles here, as they do have live performances and a decibel counter on the wall. Typically, it stays around the 70-90 dB zone. Very good food, prompt service, and extremely talented performers. Waiters and waitresses typically sing and bring food, so kudos to them.

I always look for small local places during my travels. Some small restaurant owned by mom and pop or hole in the wall. This time we discovered this absolute gem in Silver Dollar City. Foodies, you must visit Mel’s Hard Luck Diner. It’s a cute little place with live singing. The waiters and waitresses sing and they do it between taking your orders. It’s not a place to have a serious conversation but to sit back, relax and enjoy. Even our daughter (3 years old) had a great time 🙂 The portion sizes are good and so delicious 😋 it’s a small local place and worth going. I had a chicken steak dinner with mashed potatoes, bread, gravy and sweet corn. My husband had a Philly cheese steak sandwich and our daughter had her favorite hot dog 🌭 with fries 🍟 We shared the dessert and it was so huge that it took every inch of our belly and will power to finish it 🙂 #lifewithoutalu

Great concept, food, family fun and music. The servers sing and are good singers. They do their job and sing. Food was acceptable, but not fantastic. Cheese steak should not be roast beef with cheese, onion and pepper. I buy cheese steak for the fat content and roast beef chunks are lacking. It might be your thing, but I prefer steak on a cheese STEAK.

The food was classic diner. I did chicken fried chicken and she had patty melt. These were out pretty quick. While your seated the walls have lots of things to see and read. About every couple min a different server will grab the mic and sing a song. This is a wide variety of genre. They walk around to sing to everyone. Now if you just want dessert or happen to have room then the kringle cookie is very good and huge. Enough to share for 2 to 4.

This was super cute. The servers sing! That was super fun. My burger was pretty dry, but my french fries were really nice! My mom got a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, and the best part of her plate was the gravy on top of all of it.

Visiting a local restaurant while in Branson is a must and there are a lot of great ones to choose from. Mel's Hard Luck is one of those restaurants. Great diner atmosphere where the waiters and waitresses sing for your entertainment. And they are good singers. The food came out very fast and was amazing. It tasted so good, very hot, and the salad was phenomenal. It is located in a great shopping area with high end shops right on the main strip. Be sure to check out gift shop on the way out. I highly suggest you eat here during your stay in Branson.

Went here instead of another diner. The food was okay. We ordered the chicken pot pie with a side salad and the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was just okay nothing to write home about. Our server, Zane, was great; fast and brought a carafe of water when I needed a refill.

Good, home style comfort food. I had a burger and fries, which was good, but nothing too extraordinary. My wife got meatloaf, which was also pretty good. The highlight was absolutely the cornbread! We got a hefty complimentary serving of that brought to the table. It was fantastic!

McFarlain's is a local restaurant that should be a must on your list. The restaurant from the outside is nicely themed to the area. The service was phenomenal as the waitress didn't miss a beat. They start you with the Honey Cornbread, which is amazing. We had the fried chicken and pot roast. Unfortunately we were so hungry and it looked and tasted so good we forgot to take a photo. The food tasted just like mom would cook. It was tender, hot, and cooked to perfection. We were full but couldn't pass up the fresh baked pies and cobblers that make fresh daily. We had the peach cobbler made with fresh, not canned, peaches as well as the chocolate cream pie. Both were fantastic. I can't say enough positive things about our visit today. Not one negative thing to say. Highly recommend that if you're in Branson, you make McFarlain's one of your dining choices.

I only went there to get a "Branson Traffic Jam" piece of pie. It wasn't particularly impressive or memorable for me. The waitstaff seemed like nice folks, though. The pie was $3.99 and ice cream was $1.49. So it was $6.07 after tax.

This place has a very homey feel. The staff was very nice. Their menu has a wide variety of items from nachos, the chicken fried steak and a lot in between. This cornbread is more like cake. Delicious! And this restaurant is in a shopping center with stores and an IMAX theater. "Like" if this post was helpful.

This was my first visit to McFarlain's Family Restaurant since COVID. The restaurant is located inside a shopping complex. The parking lot is on a hillside. There is a covered loading and unloading area at the entrance. We were seated without a wait, and our waitress greeted us promptly. Staff was friendly. I had McFarlain's Legendary Fried Chicken, green beans, and mashed potatoes. In my opinion, the fried chicken was slightly over-cooked and had a bit too much pepper. The honey cornbread was delicious but was a "drier" texture than pre-COVID. The whipped butter was amazing. Apparently, purchasing a loaf of cornbread to go is no longer available. Overall, it was a good meal. I just didn't make any "Hm-m, that's so good" noises. I'll probably go to Billy Gail's the next time.

Everything was Soo good. The service was the Best I've had at a restaurant ever. Our waitress was awesome.

We arrived here thirty minutes before closing, cutting it close, but hostess and waitress were nice as could be and promptly sat us down. We found what we wanted on the menu and before you knew it we were being served. I got a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries while the wife ordered a BLT which she said was one of the best she has ever had. Our friend ordered fried chicken, a portion he had to bring some home, while his wife ordered a BLY as well. We ordered, ate, and was out the door by 8:05. It was a nice dinner and we were not rushed or anything.

The food look okay. They forgot our cornbread. And my green beans look microwave and mash potatoes was Luke warm. The waiter was awesome he did great job . The fried green tomatoes was excellent.

We went to McFarlain’s in Branson, Missouri for breakfast on December 10, 2022 at about 10:30 in the morning. I ordered my breakfast with eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy and the picture below shows what I got. The waitress argued that that was how I ordered them. She reluctantly agreed to bring me some more eggs but brought them out to me almost completely raw. She seen that I didn’t eat them and told me that I must not know how to order my eggs. I explained to her that I’m 57 years old and I know what eggs are and I damn sure know how to cook them. That is strike three in my book for this place.

First of all, this restaurant is inside the mall/theater; park in front and use the main entrance. The restaurant is back a bit and to the right and well worth searching for. Once there, the service is great and the food is delicious.

Yummy to my tummy is an understatement 😮‍💨 Their cornbread and portions are insane! So much flavor and options to choose from! Go there pronto! 🫡

This is a nice restaurant. I had the meatloaf, coleslaw, and green beans, which was good. The fried green tomatoes were great. They also served a honey cornbread, which was good. Our waitress Adriana was great. The atmosphere is really comfortable and the rest of the staff was very friendly. It is located inside the McFarlain's entertainment center with Imax theater and shops all indoors. Nice place to visit.

I love this place. This is probably one of my favorite places to eat. I love the bacon and the HUGE pancakes!!The picture I showed of the pancake was only the kids meal because the real thing is too big for me to eat. Also the amazing decorations! The signs are so funny and cool! If you are in the area you MUST try this place!

We heard this restaurant was wonderful so we tried it. We were open and listened when the waitress told us to share a big 14" pancake. It was absolutely fantastic! For something that looked normal. It wasn't. It was tender and had real flavor. They said the Cold Stone Creamery was in the batter. All the food we ordered was perfect. I think most people would be happy to have chosen Billy Gail's for a meal.

Went around 9am on a Sunday morning, off season about a 30 min wait. It was fine, seats inside and out to wait. Expeditious and friendly service. This was a top 3 chicken fried steak for me. Hand breaded good piece of meat. Very large portion. Kids pancake meal came with spangle large pancake and VERY good bacon. 5 stars because no complaints. Reasonable prices too.

This place is busy but it is worth the wait. We tried several different dishes; omelette's, fried chicken, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, billion dollar bacon, etc. ... It was all fantastic. Enormous portions. If we weren't on a short vacation here I would definitely return!

Definitely the #1 place to eat in Branson. I’ve been to 17 countries, 4 continents, and 43 states and has easily landed in TOP 3 places I’ve ever eaten. Had the country fried steak and sloppy chicken biscuit. I would be typing all day to break down the food! Just go try it for yourself. I have 4 days left in Branson and I’ll definitely be back there one more time before I leave! Summer was great!!! The ONLY GRIPE: Get bigger forks! Lol

This was a pleasant find as this restaurant is off the beaten path from downtown Branson, but totally worth the extra effort to experience. The lobby is fully of the "fun" merchandise with funny signs, odd-toys, or other trinkets. There is plenty of history of the story behind the making of restaurant and where it is today. Plates are big enough to share, but if you come hungry enough, there will not be any need for a doggy bag.

Wow! You must stop by for the best breakfast ever. Excellent service and quality. Huge breakfast entrées. Enough to take home and eat another meal. Ordered the 1 lb ham steak. It was excellent. Country fried steak was massivly huge. Smothered in sausage gravy with biscuit... ate this for 3 days! Pecan pancake was huge also and excellent. Brought half home. Great breakfast place! Lunch not so much, but breakfast is awesome.

Mega food for the super hungry!! Known for their colossal pancakes, Billy Gail’s is a place that must be experienced! Huge servings and the word “fried” can be found in almost every menu item! The omelette, chicken fried steak, pancakes, hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy were yummy! Be prepared to ask for a doggy bag. The staff is very friendly and for superior service, ask for Donnie! There is almost always a line but it’s well worth it.

Loved out breakfast here! Was told wait would be 35-40 min and waited 30. Wish we’d known at the time they was coffee in the lobby though, that would have helped the wait go faster. My kids shared one giant pancake and only ate 1/3 of it 😱- my husband got the Gail’s ranch breakfast and I had the lite breakfast with a blueberry pancake on the side. The coffee was great and constantly refilled, food came out quickly and hot, service wonderful! Prices for Branson not bad and gave us lots of leftovers too. Highly recommend!

Lasagna was to DIE FOR! The waiter shared a secret about the lasagna sauce. It has NO flour and the texture of the sauce was phenomenal ! Only complaint is, don’t sit in the second booth from the back because that silly Covid screen makes so much noise that it’s very distracting. Otherwise this is one of our best meals this week in Branson.

Let me start by saying this is not my usual style of place to eat. Just look through my reviews. Started off with bread and oil which is better than most. Ordered the Calamari as an appetizer and it was cooked wonderfully. A must have! As an entree I had the Ossobuco which was great. You must check out the photos and stop in for a meal here. Curry should be your server because this guy was amazing! Made the experience so much better.

My husband and I wanted something different, so we tried Florentina's and we enjoyed it. The service was very pleasant and the atmosphere was nice. The nachos was very good, better than we expected. And they had good 🍹 margaritas.

Place was beautiful. A hot spot for tourists. Food was good, but not the best I've ever had. The nachos for an appetizer was the best part of the meal. The alfredo was really good, thick and rich. The complimentary bread and oil was really, really good. Ordered a kids drink with my daughters meal that was brought out half way through her meal. Told our waitress we would like to order wine to enjoy with our dinner. Alexis was super sweet, very kind, but was only 20, so she said to let her know when we were ready to order the wine and she would have someone else deliver it for her. She then was sat 2 parties, so a food runner brought our dinner and left. We didn't get to order wine. Once she followed up with us, we were finished eating and ready for our bill. It wasn't her fault she was double sat. I would still recommend this place. It was a toss up between this, and Mr. Gilberti's. Def enough to feed us (2 adults, 9 yr old girl), and had left overs.

We were seated fast. Food came fast as well. Food was very good, well worth the price. Super friendly staff!!!! Also the restaurant was VERY clean, I'm sold on a clean place to eat.

Florentina's ... WOW! 5 stars easy. I had a meal called Paolos's Favorite- Spaghetti with Italian Sausage, Fettuccine Alfredo and Lasagna! I don't know the words to use to say how good it was. My wife had the Chicken Parm, also good. The bread and dipping oil was great also. We don't always have dessert but I guess I was intoxicated by the amazing food and great service... I had Creme Brûlée, she had Tiramisu. Both were amazing. Then the service- our server was Maddy. So nice, so friendly, excellent, top notch service! Paired with the great food Maddy made the dinner perfect. This was a little more than I like to spend on a dinner but it was a treat! The place was clean, nicely decorated and had clean bathrooms. I highly recommend and will return for sure.

Great atmosphere, felt like I was transported to Italy! The service was quick and helpful. The complimentary bread and olive oil mixture was the perfect start to our meal. The Rigatoni Alla Carbonara was one of the best I've ever had! So delicious I had to finish every bite.

Best. Italian. Ever. Not only was the wait time for (getting a table, waiting for food, and getting our check) super FAST. Our waiter (Curry - I believe) was incredible with his knowledge of the menu and ability to tell you what you’d like. He also remembered every detail of our meal and requests. He had an upbeat attitude that made the experience a great end to the day. Complimentary bread & dipping sauce was FANTASTIC. The Baked Ravioli was by far my favorite dish compared to their Lasagna (which was also good), and the Rigatoni Martino. However, all the dishes tasted great! So, BIG S/O to the cooks! When I’m back in Branson, this will be my GO TO spot for Italian. Way to go Florentina’s!

The atmosphere is great, our server Jennifer was very nice, and the food was delicious! We got the Calamari, my husband got the Seafood Ravioli, and I got the Cannelloni Alla Besciamella. It was very good and plenty to eat! The quality was better than other Italian restaurants I've been to. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!
