My first visit here to this Beautiful Old Park. I was not disappointed, George an usher and our tour guide earlier shared some the the historical information of this stadium. Like the seats under the cover are the original seats from 1934. As I stood there and touch these seats I could feel the excitement from the fans that had sat in these very seats. Really enjoyed being at park, Boston Fans are fantastic and true to baseball.

The most amazing place in the world! We had such a great time. The atmosphere, the fans, the history, the energy, the nostalgia, the excitement! There's nothing better. We got engaged here and took our kids for the 1st time and like every time. it did not disappoint! Food is also great in the stadium and staff is always so friendly and helpful, making sure you have a great time.

Always a great tour! Will, our tour guide, was fun and knowledgeable and very passionate about Red Sox baseball, which made the visit even better. I appreciated that the tour moved quickly, so my kids didn't get "bored", and had chances to sit peppered in between walking. Take a jacket if you are visiting in the spring - up high the wind will chill you!

So much history and one of the few stadiums left with all its history there. It was one of my best choices I made going to it. It's about an hour 35 to 40 bucks. Also a picture is taken between 40 and 50 for the set. No home clubhouse or anything on the field during the tour. But at least your allowed to go to the top of the Green Monster.

Awesome ballpark! We did the stadium tour. So interesting to learn about the history of Fenway and the Green Monster. They have Fenway Gardens on the rooftop where they grow their own produce. Amazing! Their museum has a wall of World Series baseballs. Definitely worth the visit!

Great ballpark to visit with many services. Private tours are very conducive to children infusing interaction with historical education. Show up early because they are prompt, leaving the time they say. Rich in History and relatively rather clean for a ball park. Their service coordinators to set up the tours are extremely helpful and go above and beyond. Be prepared to walk a mile or so from the parking garage or take a cycle taxi for a speedier arrival.

Who doesn’t like Fenway Park. It’s one of the best venues for a concert, smaller than Gillette and much more intimate. I’ve been to two concerts this summer (Pink and Zac Brown) and I thoroughly enjoyed both. Plenty of options for reserved parking. I would recommend eating beforehand at a local restaurant unless it’s ballpark food your after

This is one of the greatest venues of the United States sports history. The Fenway park represents an iconic representation of the baseball inspiration. Everyone must go and visit the stadium. The tour is a good way to learn about the history and also have the opportunity to visit every corner of it.

What a trip! I could never get enough of this wonderful, grand, beautiful treasure of a ballpark! Everything about this night was absolutely perfect! Boston knows how to celebrate baseball and this ballpark does it all just right. Parking was super convenient. Close enough by for just a 10 minute walk after the game, the game views in the stands were absolutely amazing, the crowd was fun-loving and passionate, the sunset that night was absolutely spellbinding, and the atmosphere was electric! What a homage to baseball and to just celebrating how life can be so beautiful and fun. ✌️👍🙂❤️🙂

Family friendly Fenway! Easy to access by the Kenmore T stop on the green line. Would not recommend parking near the stadium on game day. Fenway franks are a must try. Plenty to see if you’re in need of a stretch during the game. Bathrooms are clean and well kept (wish they would switch to auto faucets instead of push faucets, though). Great place for a family outing!

Picked this tour with our Go City pass. We love seeing different ball parks and the history here is something you could spend multiple days taking about. Our tour guide was thorough and did a great job for a large and diverse crowd. My only suggestion is they cap tour groups to 25 people as any more ends up costing time. Would love if they took you to the dugout and other inside areas like many other ballparks. It would be so awesome to see the whole facility!

First time sitting in the green monster seats was an experience. The view is spectacular. I was afforded a cool breeze on a not so cool day sitting in those seats. Easy access to food and restrooms was a plus. I would suggest anyone to try these seats as it's a fabulous view not only of the game but of the city itself.

Serene park with beautiful views of the city and surrounding community. It's a great place to set up for a morning workout or yoga session. Lots of sculptures to view and amazing landscaping. Very quiet in the morning. Gets very busy as the day goes by. Take a ride in the Swan Boats which are a landmark of the Public Garden's since 1877.

Very beautiful, easy access, historical park with seasonal blooms and calming water features. Ideal for an impromptu picnic or relaxing sit on a bench. Family friendly with plenty photo ops. A quick walk through just a portion of this magnificent park will definitely return for further exploration!

What a gorgeous park! So lively with people and things to do! I came on an earth day and got to enjoy the festivities. Also feels really safe and I got some good runs in with the gorgeous scenery.

The Boston Public Garden is a large park surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. The sceneries are visual treat by themselves. This gorgeous park has something to offer for everyone. You can just sit on benches and enjoy its tranquility, listen to live music being played by up and coming artists, set up a place for mediation or stroll around and admire the stunning flowers and the exceptional landscaping. I was fortunate I got to see the colorful foliage. There are statues of historic US figures, a large pond called the lagoon, and a historic bridge that stretches over the lagoon with a scenic views of the water and the island in its center. An iconic feature in the park is the bronze Mama duck with her eight ducklings heading to the lagoon. Truly, it is one of the most captivating park I have ever seen thus far.

Absolutely beautiful. If I lived in Boston, I would come here regularly. With it being the end of April, pretty much everything is in bloom. The tulips were gorgeous. Loved all of the trees. Coming here has made me want to redo my yard. Love that it is within steps of the Green Line. It’s a must if you are visiting, but also if you live here.

Beautiful park! Lots of weeping willow trees to provide shade. Peaceful and relaxing if you want to have a picnic or read a book. There is also a swan boat ride that you can take in the small lake.

A charming park, full of live music (when we were there were players with typical Scottish music), people getting married in the park, children playing… a charming diversity! The beauty of the place is unique (beating many parks in the USA). Well maintained and clean. We loved this place and we will definitely be back.

It was a lovely time. The weather was beautiful, there's a children's playground, swan rides, a carousel, and lots of small wildlife. Clean and family friendly.

I love this museum. Every time I go, it feels like a new experience. The only issue is that it can be a little hard to navigate. I definitely suggest bringing the map along. The cafe near the gift store makes excellent coffee too.

They sell tickets at the front door but allocate time to lineup. If you are visiting on weekends, do it before noon. After noon line gets larger and larger. You’ll need a full day if you’d like to see everything. However, it can be exhausting. There are some areas where you can sit if you need to rest. Great experience, lots of exhibitions from Egypt, Americas, Asian… spectacular! You also need to lineup to enter the cafeteria. Food is bit overpriced, but ambiance and service worth the extra bucks. The MFA is a must go. I’m assuming if you are looking at reviews you probably know this and you are really looking for information about parking and logistics. I got you. PARKING: there are MFA garages and parking lots that are on Museum Rd. Additionally there is street parking but it’s limited and you must pay unless it’s Sunday. All museum parking accommodations are expensive but offer quick accessibility to the museum. You can also park on Forsyth Way. I recommend going early in the morning if you want an easy street parking spot. Again, Sunday is free. Lastly the museum website has information about parking. All in all it’s not bad so don’t let that deter your visit. 2. TICKETS: I would recommend getting advanced tickets if you are seeing a special exhibit, additionally an advanced ticket is just an easier experience overall. Again, if you are seeing something special that costs more then plan in advance to get a ticket with a specific time. 3. IF YOU HAVE KIDS: the museum is kid friendly and I was surprised that they did not ask us to check backpacks or our stroller. There were many families with their young kids and the strollers did not seem to be a problem. Made our lives easier so I am assuming that the museum is pretty accessible for wheelchairs too. 4. Check out my photos to get a sense of the space. Loved our trip here and I will be back! Highly recommend.

An amazing experience. The Egyptian hall has the most Egyptian artifacts outside of Cairo. The Greek and Roman halls were also extensive. The coins hall was also excellent. Definitely recommend coming early to have time to examine the museum with time.

If it had not one work of art within its walls, this museum is a beautiful work of art in and of itself. The experience was similar to that of being at the Smithsonian without the crowds and the field trips. I could spend a week here. There is a great restaurant in house and 2 gift shops. Would recommend the app for a self guided tour and if you're visiting Boston, buy a city pass that includes the admission to this and other worthy attractions. There is a separate cost for special/traveling exhibitions.

Large collection of fine art, very well curated, displayed, and maintained. You can buy tickets at the door, but you can also buy it online if you want to skip the queues. Expect the whole or half day if you want to savor the whole section.

As soon as the doors opened 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour, each person was given a card describing someone who was present at the original Boston tea party. The actors are dressed in colonial attire and are kind, well-mannered, well-informed, and fun! Children as well as adults all seemed to have a great time; there was a great sense of camaraderie is though we were all in on the plot together! I appreciated the blend of hands-on experience, creative presentation and short films. There isn’t a lot to see in the museum in terms of quantity, but I felt I got my money’s worth in terms of the overall experience. I’m glad that I made the time for it. I did also pay just under four dollars for the tea tasting experience, sampling the five types of teas that were tossed overboard that fateful night. I enjoyed the novelty of the tea tasting.

The actor and actress here are doing the fabulous job to bring you back the America’s history event. The cafe food were served in cold and doesn’t taste good but the museum shop and overall experiences were excellent! Get to know the details of America’s history event in person it’s really special experience.

Amazing! Some actors dressed in colonial-era clothing relive and recount the historic moments that marked the Boston tea party revolt. Really very interesting to have the opportunity to relive this moment and learn a little more about one of the first historical moments that led to the American revolution and the country's independence. Really, the most interesting thing is the work of the guides who make the story come alive and during the entire tour they participate in the staging, making you feel like you are living in that historic moment. My son really loved tossing the tea box overboard! As I said, this way of making the visitor participate in the historic moment is very exciting and lively! I really recommend it! A museum with a proposal very different from many I've visited!

We took two friends from the UK with us and they Loved it as much as we did! Great interactive live action environment with costumes!! We went into the belly of an old ship! Ridiculously cool! The media was high tech and well done… the Tea afterwards was delicious and the dining hall was just delightful. Loved all of the amazing things for sale in the gift shop! All around WELL worth the money, especially if you have kids, they Loved throwing the big tea boxes over the side of the ship! FUN!

Wonderful historical tour! These actors are amazing! They put so much effort into giving a fun, informative tour! The kids in our tour group had so much fun throwing the boxes of tea overboard! Puts a lot into perspective. Definitely buy your tickets to this tour & enjoy! The tea room is also cute & they have a nice gift shop!

Loved the performance and overall immersion into the past. The actors really made you feel part of the history. And to stand on the actual ships was pretty cool too. Tour takes about 1 hour and is well worth the price of admission.

Definitely too pricey ($32 x adult) for the 1 hour tour. A special shout out to the actor (4/22 2PM East meeting tour), he was so passionate and professional with the speech, it felt so real. Great job! There are plenty of souvenir options at the Gift shop, make sure to stop by before leaving. It was also worth it the tea tasting experience, you pay $8 something and they give you a cup so you can try all the 5 different teas, and you also take home a souvenir mug of the museum!

So, at face value, the tickets seem a bit pricey for what might be a cheesy experience—but the hour you will spend going through the experience they offer is worth it! Take a walk back through the Boston Tea Party event with talented and interactive actors and learn new things about this country’s history unless you are already a deep history buff—and even then you might learn something new, even if just a new perspective! The snacks were tasty and the gift shop had a nice offering of different items for all budgets. Make sure and schedule your reservation ahead and show up about 15 min early.

Really great tour / show. Great value for money. Must do when visiting Boston. Also enjoy their tea room where you can taste the 5 teas that were thrown over board and inexpensive soups, sandwiches and homemade cookies.

Beautiful big park with a nice long path to walk and even can go to the start of the freedom trail. The park has a ton of green space and so walking here is so enjoyable and relaxing

Boston Common should not be confused with Boston Public Gardens, which is right next to it. Boston Common is more likely to have homeless hanging around that the gardens and it also has no flower displays. It is more like a city green space than the public gardens beside it. That being said, you can easily walk around the Commons in 30 minutes, and the Commons/Public garden in an hour. It is centrally located which can make the green space a nice break from the surrounding city. Beneath Boston Common is a parking garage. The red line T also drops you off below the park. The visitors center is nice and clean with a public restroom and souvenirs you can buy. There is also a playground for kids. There is also to do surrounding the park so it is a good jumping off point if you want to explore the Freedom trail, walk along Boylston street etc. The commons also has events, plays are put on here, protests are held, movie nights etc. As mentioned it is utilized best as a gathering/even space with the Gardens next door being the nice, quiet, pretty attraction.

The park is very nice and from what I could see it was great for kids. Coming out of it you'll see the state house however the establishment was closed on the day I went which was kind of a bummer because it looked really interesting. Unfortunately, the face of the building was obscured by scaffolding but we could at least see the golden dome. The mural of the African American troops and the revolutionary war facing the building was very striking and quite moving. The artist was able to capture the poignant expressions on the faces of the soldiers which were a mix of resolve, resignation, courage, and strength.

Very nice place to visit and learn about Boston History. with family friends or just for a walk. There's also a frog pond to Cool off on hot summer days . Plenty of statues, monuments and plaques spread throughout the Paths and walkways. Park Rangers are there to help with Safety , knowledge, and Directions. Many places to eat in the area. The Boston Commons is a great place to spend on a spring and summer day (and the other seasons if weather permits). Many people are out and about, enjoying the sunshine, riding the boats in the pond, etc.

In a word, beautiful! From American Revolution tours and delicious food to gorgeous scenery and skaters with rad tricks. This classy and clean space is beautiful for solo or family visits; amazing Tadpole playground, scenic walking areas, it has a lot for everyone.

A perfect place for morning jobs and evening strolls! I went there towards the end of fall and the trees were beautiful, all of the differently coloured. The pond is a perfect place to sit around and watch the ducks, you can even feed the ducks if you are into it. Suitable to take your toddler for a stroll, hang out with a bunch of friends, have summer picnics or even peaceful dates. Totally recommended.

Fantastic park in the middle of downtown Boston. This is a great space for family and friends or if you have a dog or just want to go into a nice space and be able to exercise. Tough place to be when the weather is good.

Follow the good reviews to the Legal Seafood. My friend tried the lobster roll, not bad. Lot of carbs, including bread and fries. Clam chowder was good though, recommended. I tried the sesame crusted tuna (medium rare) on the new menu, not bad. The string bean was surprising good. portion is generous. not crowd around 1pm right after the whale watch cruise.

We came here for cocktails and seafood. The food was good and didn't disappoint. The cocktails were on the expensive side but well made. Between the 3 of us we tried 4 different types of oysters based on the waiter's recommendation. They were very good and fresh. The clams were good as well. Portions here are abundant. The lobster roll was huge and tasted pretty good. Fried seafood was done with a light and flavorful breading. My imperial sole dish with the breaded lump crab on top was quite delicious. Food is on the expensive side but was to be expected. Water was not refilled once although the waiter came by multiple times. It was a good dining experience overall with delicious dishes.

The views at the long wharf made for a very casual dining experience. The stuffed lobster was overdone causing the lobster meat to stick to the shell, whilst the stuffed seafood was overly breaded. The fisherman’s platter was seasoned well but again too much breading masks the actual seafood. Lobster Mac and cheese was tasty

We came here on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday and were pleased with the experience. Note: make a reservation! - The service was great. Our waiter was Rick and he was very attentive. I have a gluten allergy and he was gracious in explaining menu options and accommodations the kitchen could make. - The food was tasty and portions were generous. Everything was well seasoned and tasted fresh. I got the sesame crusted tuna and the other person in the group got the lobster roll. We’d recommend both dishes. I appreciated the relatively casual atmosphere. Some men were wearing jackets but there were also many people in jeans … whatever you’re comfortable with.

Great food here. We didn't have a wait even though the restaurant was busy. I got the Sea Scallops with rice pilaf and buttered potatoes, my husband got the Baked haddock. Mine tasted delicious with the waitress's recommendation of lemon butter with the scallops, my husband said his was good but lacking flavor. appetizer. We had the Cod fritters as our appitizer which were also delicious.

Overall I enjoyed my visit. It was around noon on a holiday and the place was busy. Staff were as attentive as they could be considering the rush. I ordered the crab cake platter. Scallops and shrimp were perfectly cooked. The rice pilaf was okay. Crab cake was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce that came with it was delicious! I'd recommend giving them a visit!

We wanted lobster, space, and easy parking, and this place checked all the boxes. We started with 12 oysters, and they were great. Odd not being served with horseradish, but they were a great starter. First of all, the lobster Mac n cheese was legendary. Just an absolutely massive whole lobster stuffed with huge chunks of lobster meat and cheese noodles. The lobster roll was also huge, just a massive amount of lobster meat. The Tuna Pole was good. The Shrimp Cocktail was okay, also. My only complaint would be that it was end of night and service was pretty slow. We just wanted to get in and out and it took a long, loooong time.

For sure need a reservation unless you're coming at like 2pm on a weekday. Salmon was fantastic and the portions are generous. Great fries and I don't know what they did with it but the broccoli was SO good. My only criticism is that the two person tables are really tiny so it's easy to knock things over.

Great food. Cioppino was super fresh; I was Thanksgiving full after our meal. Gluten-free Fried Calimari. Who'd have known?! My wife was thrilled. Manager came around twice. Server Alejandra was excellent! Pleasant, attentive!

We loved eating here outside on a beautiful day. Our server, Isadora, was so friendly. The food was great, fresh... and for someone who doesn't eat seafood, this is monumental. My husband wanted to eat here, so I ordered the Greek Salad. But, I was won over. The lobster roll was delicious as was the grilled shrimp. We ordered a side of green beans, also good.

Legal Sea Foods has a great location right on the wharf. Stopped in to take advantage of oyster happy hour from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. theur select oysters are $2 a piece and a good value. We did feel that we had better oysters throughout our trip in Boston. Kids burger was very plain with cheese. Luckily their fries were very crispy and kid satisfying. Lobster bisque was very creamy, more of a chowder... be sure to ask for the garlic rolls to help scoop up the bisque. What they lacked in food was made up by our server. Staff was very quick and accommodating. Beers and wine are refreshing and would try other Legal Sea Food menu items next visit. Joke to the kids, this was the freshest seafood selected from the Boston aquarium... enjoy!

Great food and atmosphere. Our server was wonderful, but he was just assigned too many tables. He was hustling like crazy, but still missed a drink order (it sat at the bar for ~10 mins) and wasn't available a few times we needed him. 100% management's problem, not his. Maybe it's under staffing, but they could have done better for him, and for us.

The food and service here was absolutely amazing. This place is definitely on one of my "to visit again" lists the next time I come to Boston. The restaurant's seafood ingredients is of fairly high quality, but the dishes they make with them are even more so. The fried calamari and the caviar was of very high quality, and I highly recommend trying them out. My favourite dish by far, however, was the scallops wrapped in crispy bacon. This dish was simply amazing, both in texture and taste, and is definitely a must-order. Highly recommend checking this restaurant out!

The food was absolutely delicious! We had the huge seafood platter, along with the lobster ravioli and a truffle risotto. We also had the clam chowder in a bread bowl! The highlight of our dinner was definitely the seafood platter. It is definitely on the pricier side, but the lobster and clams were especially phenomenal and worth the price. The ravioli were great too, and the risotto came with huge truffle shavings. The clam chowder was honestly nothing too special, but it’s perfect if you’re visiting Boston and want a solid clam chowder in a bread bowl. The waiters were also super friendly, but the restaurant was a little bit loud. We didn’t mind it but you might want to rethink your restaurant choice if you’re looking for a quiet place to have a nice conversation.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Atlantic Fish in Boston, and it was an absolute delight! The food was delicious and the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a touch of classic elegance that perfectly complemented the restaurant's focus on seafood. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped inside. Though slightly on the pricey side, the experience is undoubtedly worth every penny. I recommend Atlantic Fish to anyone seeking an unforgettable seafood dining experience in Boston.

This place has a really nice ambience. We got the clam chowder, crab cakes and lobster roll. They all tasted great but I did not expect the lobster meat to be served cold (only the bread is warm). The lobster roll also came out late.

The occasion is a birthday celebration dinner. Restaurant setup is a bar/restaurant, front portion allows bar seating and the rear section offers plenty of seats and booths. The menu offered about 9 different kinds of fresh caught of the day, priced between $35~$50/course including two sides. Presentation is quite nice, a very good place for a date if budget is not a concern. Bread was tasty, probably more because of the butter. The fish dish tasted okay, pretty hard to mess up a fresh fish. side dishes a little bit over cooked. Nothing wrong really with the food, but nothing spectacular either. For $8/cup, clam chowder was a must order, highlight of the evening.

We went there the night before Thanksgiving and it was a great dinner. The appetizer, fried calamari, was good but a big portion of it was just fried jalapenos. My entree was the whole fish, and I loved it. The meat was tender and the skin was nice and crispy. My friend also enjoyed his risotto with scallops as add on. They did give quite a lot of scallops for a good price. For dessert, we got the baked Alaska as dessert and it was huge.

Everything was phenomenal here. Beautiful interior design and awesome service. I had the New England chowder and it’s exactly how it suppose to be. Like our server suggested, a drop or two of tobasco went really well with it. The bouillabaisse was worth every dollar. It was loaded with seafood and they were cooked to perfection. Great seasoning—not bland but still amplified the seafood themselves. Wonderful experience overall.

This is a lovely restaurant. We arrived around 5:30 in a Thursday and there was already a wait to dine inside. But the weather was great and they offered us an outside table. It worked out perfectly. The clam chowder was the best we’ve ever had! I definitely recommend the crab haddock. It was amazing. The service was spot on as well. This is a place where you can dress up or be super casual. Recommend reservations for sure!

Amazing place! Very fresh and tasty! Especially the lobster bisque. We’ve never seen this kind of healthy and stylish kid’s menu! Yes, it’s a bit pricey and no parking available but this is Boston, that’s the way it is. Well done Atlantic Fish we will come again for sure!

It was a seafood restaurant, very nice and cozy environment. In good weather they also have outdoor seating as well. The bread was so fresh and delicious. The food’s portion was very good and large and great taste. The waiter was really a great guy, very friendly and funny. He was very nice to our kids. He made our time over there very pleasant.

Food was pretty good. Asparagus was best I've ever had. Clam chower & lobster bisque, pretty good. Halibut was dry, they recooked for me, but it it still seemed overcooked & I'm not one to keep sending food back, so I just stuck with it. Lobster & scallop ravioli was flavorful! Cooked very well! Overall, I'd go back and try more here.

Atlantic Fish, in my opinion, is the best fine dining seafood restaurant in Boston. This was now our second visit to this establishment, and it was just as great today as it was the last time. Want to have authentic Italian Pizza in Boston, MA? This is the place to try. We had to wait one hour to get into the restaurant but the wait was worthy enough when we had our Pizza right from the wooden fire at our table. The base was freshly made so was the sauce. We tried the traditional chicken pizza. But the place is a bit cozy as they didn’t had space to expand based on the increasing demand

You can't miss this spot if you're visiting downtown Boston. Pretty good place, pizza taste really good, and they have plenty of options to choose from. Great customer service. You got to be willing to wait outside if it's full, as the place gets crowded pretty quickly. Lots of famous people pictures on the walls.

Absolutely the best pizza! The crust is perfect, the toppings are fresh, and that sausage is the bomb! They really know how to make the best pizza here. This neighborhood pizzeria is very busy and packed with people, and it's loud in there. Customers will be standing in line for more than an hour to get in, it's that good.

This place was so goood! I was able to sit at the bar and honestly best seat in the house. The bartender that was there bless his heart but I forgot his name but he has been working there since he was 19. Made me feel like I was talking to my brother. Gave me some fun facts about root beer and talked about one of the locals Sunday Steve that has had a pizza there every week for years!!! This place was delicious!!!! Great place!!!

First time in Boston when I found this amazing Pizzeria. Had a friend who told me we needed to stop in. And she was right! This pizza was mouthwatering delicious! My daughter and I both hot our own pizza and we both almost devoured the entire pizza. I am positive I have never had pizza this good! Thank you Regina's, we couldn't get enough. We will be back in the summer and surely to make a stop here!

Thin crust pizza is as good as advertised. Wonderful flavor with slightly sweeter sauce. Sat at the bar but bartender/manager never said a word to us. Had a waitress instead, which was strange, but she was fantastic.

I had to wait around 20-25 minutes for a table. Finding parking was a bit troublesome as I spent around 15 minutes driving around for a spot. However, the pizza itself was enjoyable. While it wasn't extraordinarily tasty, it was definitely better than most pizzas I've had. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was fun.

Always one of my favorite stops one in Boston. You’ll find a line outside but it’s worth the wait as It’s not that large inside so be patient. It’s only pizza and it’s to die for. Crispy crust and just enough oil. Not enough oil? two versions of oil sit on your table to do your own thing. Just have a slice of the cheese to really appreciate this pie, but I personally like the mushroom and sausage as well so we do a half-and-half. The beer is ice cold and the servers are saucy. The Italian American band came through while we were enjoying our lunch and we got treated to that as well. No worry about leftovers because there weren’t any. Don’t miss this landmark. One of the more popular and well known spots in the North End. We didn’t have a reservation so we ended up waiting approx. 20 minutes for a table outside. The service was a little slow, but I think the waitstaff were stretched very thin. Once we ordered the food arrived quickly. The pizza was great, albeit it’s similar to many of the other pizzerias in the area. A fun place to go, but nothing ground breaking. Seems to be famous because it’s famous, rather than for outstanding food.

Well, this one was amazing. First got there about 3pm. There was a line outside. It’s a small restaurant. We were able to get in and get an amazing Margarita Pizza with added sausage. It was truly a great pizza. I had a Peroni Draft. This is an iconic place and well worth the wait. One of the best pizza's I had outside of Chicago.

Loved this cozy pizzeria. Delicious! Light, crunchy crust. We had the prosciutto spinaci - perfect choice for us. Thick prosciutto, tasty tomatoes, amazing dollops of cheese. No outdoor seating when we visited (may have been a covid thing). But we got a table for 2 on Thursday at 6:30 without a wait. It's noisy - totally authentic. Sending a police patch when we get home.

Hype is high and the pizzas are good. Like that they have kept the tradition and it really feels like a solid place where the recipe has not changed that much over the years. Have I had better pizza? yes (not many). Is it worth 30min queuing? yes. Probably a must if you are in town as a pizza lover.

Brilliant pizza. Probably the best I've had. Barman took a bit of warming up for me to feel welcomed. Appreciate it's a very busy place and they have great systems in place to keep the flow going. If your whole party has not arrived yet you can't come in. Will be back if I come back to Boston.

Excellent food and great service. We could not get a reservation but the restaurant has a great amount of bar seats for walk in traffic. We were seated immediately and had some amazing food and drinks. This restaurant sits in the harbor and the atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. This was our first time in Boston and the first place we ate. It set a good tone for our visit.

Food was VERY good. Calamari, edamame not pictured. Came during busy weekend night. Service was slow an overwhelmed, although our larger party was hoping to spend extra time there visiting anyway, so it worked out well. Desserts were fantastic. View of the harbor from our table by the window made for a great experience.

Our first time in Boston, first time at Legal. Maybe what I experienced is normal, I don't know. Coming from California, the prices are double what I would expect, SO you must be paying for atmosphere. This location is right on the water, and a pleasant breeze as we ate lunch made the bill more palatable. The food was good, but not $26 for fish n chips good. The burger was good but not $18 good. Like I said, maybe this is normal for Boston or just the New England area in general, I guess we will find out as we are here for 2 weeks! Server was attentive, we don't regret going, but we won't come back. Too expensive!

I came here on a whim while being in the area for work. Walked in and quickly found a spot at the wrap around bar. (Even if it’s busy, stop in and see if seats are available along the bars!) I enjoyed the atmosphere and excitement of the restaurant. Food was amazing. I wanted to try a little of everything so ordered the crab cake appetizer, clam chowder, and salmon nigiri. Everything was delicious. I was not expecting a sushi menu but was excited to see it and enjoyed the salmon. The chowder and crab cakes were rich but flavorful and not overly heavy where I could still enjoy my whole meal. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re nearby!

Nice seafood here! The place is so big yet reservation is highly recommended as when we went during the dinner, even the place is so big it was full. We had Lobster roll which came in huge size with fries, it was very good! The clam chowder was okay only if you have them hot. Service was okay. The view was fabulous.

I LOVE Legal Sea Foods! I can always get a great meal there that's fresh (if it isn't fresh, it isn't legal!) and delicious. I could order just about anything off the menu so it's always so hard to choose. This time, along with a bowl of clam chowder (which I loved! I convinced my friend who lives in California that Boston clam chowder is better), I got the simply grilled tuna steak, which could have used more seasoning, but it was still fine. The butter that I got with it didn't have much taste either. I still ate the whole thing and the street corn and broccoli were great sides. I just might try something different next time—I've gotten the crab cake that comes with shrimp and scallops before and that is excellent! I just wasn't as hungry this time so I didn't get that. My friend got a salad with cooked salmon on it and he said it was perfect. Can't wait to come back!

Great service and atmosphere. The drinks were great! Got a cinnamon old fashioned which was amazing. The food was alright. Clam chowder was tasty and stuffed lobster was pretty decent. Pricey establishment for equivalent food quality.

Tried to call and reserve the table before going and it says no table, then we walked in around 12 with 6 people in total. Luckily we have a table immediately. The view is good if we could have a table besides the window. I have been told that it has 3rd floor with even better view. Maybe try next time. The Caterpillar Roll 🍣 is highly recommended! I ordered Grilled Swordfish steak with French fires and Fregola salad. The French fries is good, but salad is okay. The fish is fresh, but if you want to have something more flavored, maybe try something else. My friend tried butter roasted potatoes and sweet corns as sides. He said sweet corns are good but potatoes are too many and inside is too plain. It provides freed bread before food which is okay. The waiters are nice and polite.

We went to this place because it was close to the hotel and we didn't want to venture too far after a long day. Without a reservation, we were seated pretty quickly by the door. Only after I went to the bathroom did I see the gorgeous view out of the floor to ceiling windows on the other side. As for the food, I started with the clam chowder because how can you not at Legal? Then I got the nut-crusted salmon over some green veggies (I don't remember what kind, but probably spinach) and a wheat berry salad. When the entree got to the table, it was a little odd that it was plated far off to the side of the large plate, as if it had slid over while it traveled from the kitchen to the table. The oddness didn't end there. The wheat berry salad was room temperature at best, but I really wished it was warm. The temperature difference between the fish and salad was too jarring and the wheat berries were a little too chewy and even a little gummy. The best part of the dish was the salmon which was cooked perfectly and not dry at all.

Hands down one of the best dinners we had in Boston!!! The harbor view from our table was the perfect backdrop and setting for our dinner. The food amazing and the service spectacular. Our server Gorge was 1st class!!! He took his time with us mentioned the specials and offered great advice on choices which made our dining experience perfect... From the lobster bisque, fresh local oysters and lobster our taste buds could not have been more pleased... I truly can't say enough about this dinner and George.... That night we ate like Kings and George made us feel like Kings!!

I haven't been to Neptune in many years and it's pretty much how I remember it. It's quite good - standard upscale-y northeastern seafood restaurant with a solid raw bar and good entrees. It's very similar to Eventide and similar kinds of restaurants in a lot of ways, including the cult following. I do think it's worth 5 stars on food alone but definitely overhyped a lot. Your meal will likely be very good but certainly won't be life changing, and I definitely wouldn't wait longer than an hour. The inside is cramped and if you're in a party of 2, you're likely going to be seated with another party of 2 at a 4 person table. Definitely not date night atmosphere. Last time we stopped by for weekday lunch at about noon and waited 35 minutes for 2 people. The johnnycakes that everyone raves about are good but sort of jarring. They taste exactly like how they sound - smoked fish and caviar on top of (very good) sweet pancakes. If it doesn't sound good to you in your head, I would avoid getting them. Also this isn't a big deal but our oysters came in the middle of the meal instead of first. Just thought that was a little weird - I would have preferred the raw bar stuff first.

Let me start this off by saying this is a food review and not an indictment on the service or atmosphere. The wait was an hour, and I totally understood that. Place was small and very intimate and was very modern inside. The hostess and waitress were awesome and gave us recommendations. Now onto the food, I’m sure it was good and made well. But all the food had no flavor and was just bland. From the fish and chips to lobster roll. In my opinion most definitely not worth the hour wait. Expected more! Head over to Quincy market if you want something with flavor and better.

Easily and I mean easily the best seafood in Boston. The scallop crudo was out of this world, and the soft shell crabs that had been pan fried were next level. Lobster roll was excellent, but the flavors of dishes that allowed for complex flavors was absolutely extraordinary. They open at 11am but there will be a line around the block so get there at 10:30am. Only 37 seats total, so wait early and then you won’t wait longer hungry. Absolute must.

I know I’m an outlier, but I was underwhelmed by Neptune Oyster. We waited a little under a half hour in line to get in. Once it was our turn we were seated at the counter. The space is very small but charming. There are a few tables and 15 or so counter seats. We ordered a lobster roll, oysters, shrimp cocktail, and crab claws. I wasn’t impressed by either the shrimp or the crab, but my friend said the oysters were excellent (not sure myself because I’m allergic). The lobster roll ($38) was generous in amount but the lobster was tough. The bun feel apart. And the fries that came with it were subpar. The server who monitored the line and sat us was very friendly, it the server at the counter was anything but. She never once smiled or said more than was needed. At one point I asked for more water and she just kinda glowered at me as she filled my cup, never saying a word. Bottom line: it’s fine but it doesn’t live up to the hype. It certainly isn’t worth waiting in line for an hour to get in. Row 34 has better shrimp, fries, and lobster rolls. I don’t recommend it.

I was really really really pleased to decide to visit here. I had to wait for some time but it was totally worth of it. The oysters are very fresh, juicy and delicious. And the foods which I ordered are yummy too and went well with my drink. Surely the service was very satisfactory. My family had a great time in here. I'll definitely try again next time.

Neptune oyster is wonderful. Staff are friendly and courteous, committed to giving diners a great experience. The razor clam appetizer was amazing as was the hot buttered lobster roll. Also had a few things from the raw bar (oyster and scallops) which are great to try based on your preference. Wine selection was good as well. The only downside is the wait, about an hour and 15 minutes on a Friday evening. You just have to stand outside in line and commit. Definitely worth it though! Inside is pretty squished together so I wouldn’t say it’s great for large groups at busy times.

Tiny bar, no reservations, but worth the wait. Every dish I've had here has been exceptional: the oysters with house mignonette, the fried Ipswich clams (so juicy!), the johnnycake with creme fraiche and caviar, the crispy salted french fries, and of course, the main reason people come here, the lobster roll. Theirs is hot and buttered, and with caviar, the best one in the whole city. Love it. Friendly, fast moving staff and plates as well.

Just wow. It really lives up to the hype. I got the lobster roll there and I nearly shed a tear it was so good. I 10/10 recommend this place. I visited Boston on a business trip and I spoke with locals who said this was the place to go. You have to wait in line as the place is small, but it is so worth the wait. The oysters, warm butter lobster roll, and salad were delicious. I also think my server was very kind.

Quintessential oyster place in Boston, our second visit here and still amazing. The one downside is the wait time, expect to wait 1-2 hours if you don't show up early. Best option is to be at the restaurant by 10 AM (they open at 11). The oysters are extremely fresh, very flavourful and amazing. This is a must try for seafood lovers in Boston. Will definitely come again!

In a word - outstanding. I waited in line for about 30 minutes and it was worth waiting much longer! They have outstanding selection of local oysters that you can only find in this region. And they were perfectly shucked. I mean PERFECTLY shucked. (Rare, even for good oyster places) The selection of local oysters was augmented by oysters from the northeast and Canada. The food was incredible. Such a thoughtful menu of classics along side stuff that seafood purists will love (example: anchovy cocktail) I had the sea bass and it was out of this world. Cooked in butter wine sauce with pork belly and Al dente fresh vegetable. Yum. The wine list is just as good. Hard to find stuff from Burgundy. I would come here just for the wine. This is my new favorite place in Boston. Just be prepared for a wait. It will be worth it.

I had lunch here with my friend today. The long line outside seems promising. Got in after an hour and 15 minutes. High hopes. Oysters are decent. Fresh enough. I had a lobster roll and my friend had a fried oyster burgers. Both are jaw-droppingly terrible. My friend’s burger is tough and dry. My lobster roll has absolutely no flavours. I thought I had COVID and lost my palate. But I could taste the fries. The fries are great and definitely the highlight of my meal. The urchin toast is equally bad. Urchin all melted on the toast with no texture and flavours. This joint is definitely over-hyped and overpriced. Doesn’t deserve the hour long line up.

We got the 3 things I think were absolutely essential to try here: oysters, lobster roll, and johnnycakes. The oysters were amazing. I liked the ones with medium salt and a clear finish. We ordered one of the funkier ones and I didn’t like it quite as much. The lobster roll was 10 dollars more than Pauli’s next door but I’d say it was worth it. Slightly fresher lobster meat and the bread was highly elevated. The fries were a good addition too. The Johnny cakes though… wow. Extreme flavor bomb from the first bite. To be honest I’ve never heard of one before but the caviar, pate, and the syrup just made for such a wonderful flavor. I highly highly recommend ordering that. The best thing I had in Boston during my time here absolutely. Regarding getting into this restaurant, lining up at 10:30 is the move. I don’t think waiting here for 1.5 hours is worth it.

❗️believe the hype❗️ All of the reviews and hype about this restaurant is well deserved. Waited in line for 1 solid hour. I was looking for a lobster roll, clam chowder, and oysters while in Boston, and it did not disappoint. Some of the BEST clam chowder and lobster roll I’ve ever had. Simple and clean tasting. I took a star off for service only because the hostess seemed stressed. Maybe she was having a bad day, but her vibe was not welcoming, she did not even say hi, smile, or acknowledge existence of people—just aloof and saw us all as numbers. I get that it’s insanely busy every day and the stress of crowd control is a lot (I’m a triage nurse) but no one was heckling her or even acting impatient. Everyone knows there is a long wait and they willingly stand in the line. She could have a great time hyping people up and boosting morale of the crowds. I thought the rest of the staff would be the same, but they were SO NICE and enthusiastic. That is my only critique.
