Amazing, loving the new addition to the Merlin Pass. I took my mum as she’s never been before, and my sister. We all had a great time. Staff members all friendly and happy to have a general conversation. We were unaware of the time and missed out on one location. At least we loaded up on chocolates from the shop. Great additions! I’ve been 4-5 times and tech is definitely welcomed including the 4D experience. Looking forward to going again soon… FREE as a part of the Merlin attractions.

Had a fantastic day at Cadbury World as "big kids" for the day. Great fun attractions. All mixed in with glorious rich history of the Cadbury family. Staff friendly and welcoming...a special shout for Rob who was on the photo collection point...very helpful top man!! Well done all of you👍😁

We loved our visit today. Recommend getting tickets on line, so you can reserve your entry time to the main attraction. There was plenty of parking space. On site there are fast food kiosks and a cafe ( a bit slow), but plenty of tables for picnics, all very clean, beside a lovely play area. The main attraction is very interactive, and held my granddaughter's attention (5 yrs).The history is very interesting as is the chocolate making process. We enjoyed tasting the chocolate and writing with it. It is very clean and well signposted and there are many hand sanitizer stations. So, I recommend taking a picnic and spending your money is the lovely Cadbury shop, where there are some great deals!

There're some interactive games and tasting session. The 4D cinema is quite interesting as the chair moves to simulate the movement. If you bring kids, you can spend hours at the playground as well. But you can't visit the factory itself :( that's why it's a 4 star rating

Nice place and interesting. The tour is great. I found the crazy que system to get in very odd and staff were a tad rude at this point. As soon as your ticket was checked it was lovely. Just an off putting first experience.

Yes there are queues but well worth it. My wife and I enjoyed the whole experience and felt like kids lol. The staff are amazing and so helpful and the amenities for the disabled are the best I have seen at any tourist attraction. Chocolate shop was so tempting and good offers on all the usual favourites. Well worth a visit but would say it's a once only attraction as nothing will change.

Rather boring trip. It reminds me of a museum but with very little to show. The kids enjoyed it, but it's not really worth it. The queues were rather long to enter and also long when you go on some car trip (the only thing I really enjoyed ha!) The play park area outside is fun (but you could get the same experience by taking them to a normal park?) Would I go again? Definitely not. Would I take the kids again? Definitely not.... you'd think the shop at the end where you can buy chocolates would be cheaper than the supermarkets as they cut out the middle man? But nope, it's the same price? Surely they could cut their profit margin?

The tour is well organised and your group will get to try everything worrying about being first through each door. Playground is great for kids of all ages. I would recommend eating outside rather than in the cafe for value for money. Get an early tour time and it's a decent half day.

Great place to visit. Lots to do with young children,and give them the knowledge of how chocolate is made. 4D cinema is great with slightly moving chairs. Play centre to visit. They have a good cafe that prices aren't to expensive but you could take food and eat in the outdoor play area. Friendly staff who are happy to help or explain anything you need to know. Discount shop but not that much cheaper than the normal price. Highly recommended to visit.

Great day out with kids. 3-4 hours are enough after a long drive, well worth a visit. Kids came away happy. Adventure playground too, so nice to get a run around. Usual photo extras which can add up but I went with the optional extras for the easy memories and out the box is good for the average consumer. Recommend maybe every few years would be fun to revisit.

We weren’t sure what to expect with Cadbury world, we were handed 10ish chocolate bars upon entry. We walked around and took in the information that was supplied. Overall it was a lovely half day out, there was a few hours worth of stuff to see and do, however I don’t think it’s a full day out and I’m not sure if I’d have been as happy if I’d paid full price for tickets. The 4D cinema was good, the magic show and tempering the chocolate were the kids favourites. We would’ve loved to have been able to go into the factory or seen more of the making of the chocolate as it focused on the history and not so much on the present day. It was lovely to see how much the Cadbury family valued their employees though and you could really see how they cared for them

Good few hours, We tasted chocolate, had a play with the chocolate, did the ride, 4d cinema, met a few characters, saw Freddie's magic show, It was a great day! It's what you make of it. How they make it was very interesting and a great walk about. Outdoor playground for a dry day. My 5 year old really enjoyed it. Especially the shop at the end.

Really liked the penguins. I think this is one of the biggest aquariums in the England. The tunnel gave a really good experience. My one year old daughter was sleeping all the time since we entered the sea life centre, luckily she woke up at the end and we came back to tunnel and spent a lot of time looking at the turtle, jelly fishes etc.. The turtle was also active when we passed through the tunnel for the second time. Would suggest visiting this place if you are in or near by Birmingham. Suggest to book tickets online in advance. If you are close to city centre then you can easily walk to this place. Enjoy the experience and walk around the Brindley place for more enjoyment.

Nice place to visit. I do feel it’s a little repetitive with the same fishes just being in different locations and personally the time goes by really quick. There could be some more interactive things to do for children. However, it is a great place for families to come with their children. There are a lot of beautiful fishes and other animals such as penguins. Best part is the tunnel as it gives an immersive feeling in the sea!

Fantastic place for anyone to spend the day! Huge place, with a variety of different aquatic life to view and learn about. The aquariums are large with plenty of items/etc to decorate the tanks, and it feels like the needs of the animals are considered a high priority (as they should be). There are posters, signs and videos around the site with information on the animals at hand. There are also plenty of staff around the various sections who are more than happy to answer questions. There's a gift shop at the end with a range of different gifts, ranging from inexpensive magnets to delightful soft plush toys. Overall, would recommend turning up early morning if you'd prefer to avoid at its busiest, and booking in advance. There are a few toilets throughout the experience, and lifts to the difference areas for wheelchair/pushchair accessibility.

I absolutely loved this place. Brimming with sea creatures and filled with things to learn and do, it is an excellent place to visit for everyone. I would recommend visiting on a weekday if you can, as the weekend can become extremely crowded, however if you cannot you will still be able to see most things. The staff are friendly and informative, and the exhibits are absolutely exquisite. I think it’s well worth the ticket price and can’t recommend this place enough.

Great place to see some aquatic animals. A reasonably sized place and good variety. The walkways are quite narrow when others stop to look, causing a backlog or an uncomfortable place to be. Like most tourist attractions is down to them letting too many people in. Great for small children, but I would go first or last thing to avoid the crowds otherwise you will see more backs of human heads then fish. There's a tunnel at the end where the fish and sharks swim above and on the side of you, but this is awful when it's busy, it's impossible to move freely. Toilets are available throughout but small, hard to close cubicle doors as it's a tight squeeze. Staff are friendly, opportunity to touch a starfish and trails for kids to get stamps as they go round. Obligatory gift shop as you exit to buy sea life branded things. Worth spending an hour at.

Decent visit at the aquarium, it takes about 30minutes to 1 hour to complete. It was just extremely crowded despite booking in advance. The tickets are also pricey, so not sure this was good value.

My recent trip to the Sea Life was a very exciting one. I had booked a combo ticket where I could visit both Cadbury World and National Sea Life, and paid £35 for the combined ticket. The place is located close to the city centre so you wouldn’t have to pay much for travelling and there are plenty of buses that take you there. The place is huge and a fun attraction for children and adults. We got to see a variety of sea animals and could even touch a few of them. It was great and a nice way of introducing marine life to kids. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Wonderful experience for the whole family. The kids loved it. Slightly busy in some places inside. The staff are absolutely amazing. Bit pricey on the gift shop but it was worth it. Would go again in the future. Loved the penguins.

Nice place to spend with family and kids. Kids really enjoy a lot to see big fish, seahorses, jellyfish etc. Parking is nearby within 2 minutes. Can complete around 2 to 3 hours. 360 degree tunnel is very nice to take photos and get good views of fish seeing in very close.

Totally loved it here. An experience not to be missed... We then had coffee and a walk around the canals afterwards. This makes for a great day out, where you can also find somewhere to have a meal...

Absolutely brilliant! Everything is clean and well maintained. The staff very helpful and knowledgeable! There is such a large variety of marine animals! I loved the 360 glass tunnel through the sharks and I was knelt down for ages watching the rays!! I would 100% recommend this place!

Superb tour of these fascinating houses, brilliantly led by Annette, who had personal experience of living in similar houses, was most knowledgeable about every aspect and was friendly and helpful too. Thoroughly recommended for anyone interested in social history or simply in how people used to live. A reminder of how much better Birmingham must have been before the council's planners destroyed the city in the 1960s etc.

Our guide was such an excellent storyteller, time flied! He put us at ease from the beginning of the tour and was captivating. I would definitely recommend this visit if you want to have insights on how people used to live in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Wow what a special place, so much history in a small area. The house's are decorated and presented in 4 different time periods to give you a sense of what it was like living during those times. Our guide was so knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm! The tour lasts for around 1.5 hours and does involve walking up and down some narrow staircases!' Entry is by guided tour only a d definitely book in advance. There's a book shop and toilets but no cafe. Parking is in thmulti-storeyey carpark next door.

This is an amazing place to visit, do pre book first! It gives an insight to living and working just as the industrial revolution starts and develops. Do take care on the stairs! Thanks to Mike for the excellent tour. Expect the informative tour to last about 1.5 hours. Its a hands on experience expect to be surprised. Its ten minutes walk from New Street station.

Wow we've been to Birmingham so many times and walked past these without knowing exactly what they are. If you want some very interesting history and a reason to stay out of the pubs for a couple of hours please go here. Tours have to be pre-booked and last approx 1 1/2. Hours. The houses are beautifully restored and protected and hearing about life in these times was really interesting. Our tour guide had lived in this type of house when younger so it was extra special to hear the family stories from someone who lived there. It's lovely to touch the antiques and go all through these houses. The amount of care and attention they put in is amazing.

This place is a tour de force of what the national trust does well. (Which isn't something that happens often) . First off you need to plan ahead and book , tickets are limited and go on sale a few weeks in advance. These back to back houses are the last of their kind and take you back to a time now past. The tour guide was first class and actually as a child lived in one, so there was fascinating anecdotes and first hand experience of the latter use of these properties. The houses/rooms are dressed as per a certain period and are done sympathetically. There is so much of interest and so much to learn, it really is a must see place if you are going to be in Birmingham.

On a visit to Birmingham from Canada in late May, we toured the Back to Backs. It was an absolutely fascinating experience wonderfully animated by our guide, Wesley, who grew up in a back to back house. He took us through a chronological history of not only the houses themselves, but of the lives of residents who lived there. Life was very precarious in the early days and life expectancy of those who lived there was quite short. Children especially had a very hard life. Wesley provided us with some entertaining anecdotes from each era and opened our eyes to the hardships of the working poor. The houses themselves and the courtyard with laundry and latrine facilities are authentic and are packed with implements people used on a daily basis. We are so glad we chose this visit and highly recommend it to all visitors to Birmingham!

A truly fascinating experience and brilliant of the NT to preserve these properties which record the lives of ordinary working people. The tour needs to be booked in advance and take place for 5 or 6 people each time. It lasts for around 90 minutes which flies by! Our guide was as entertaining as he was knowledgeable and gave some fascinating insights as to how people lived in various decades. There is a bookshop, no NT tearoom but there are numerous eateries literally on the doorstep. Highly recommended!

The most amazing nation trust we have been to. The guide bought it to life with stories and historical knowledge.

A wonderful experience, even though we could only get in on the ground floor tour. We were not disappointed in any way! Our guide, Val, was very informative and really brought the lives of the people who lived here to life.

Its a grand location, beautiful building. Its a little complicated getting around, whilst there are signs, and the staff are really helpful. There is a lot of unused space and shelves. The computers are somewhat quirky. The Secret Garden and the Shakespeare Memorial Room, and the view across the city are amazing space. Highly recommend.

Modern building with loads of books, reference archives, study zones spread across the floors and a kids area on the lower ground floor . There’s also a large viewpoint with seating. All areas are wheelchair friendly and multiple lifts. One of the escalators was inoperable during our visit but you were able to walk through, all lifts worked

Amazing experience… I am a huge book lover and just roaming inside the library was indescribable!!! They have all sorts of books and the view of the city from the garden is soo great!! Totally a must visit place if you are in Birmingham…. Ps. Don’t forget the view!!

The most beautiful and impressive library I have ever seen. More than 10 floors full with books, maps and documents. There are several terraces with plants and amazing view of the city. It's a definitely something you must see in Birmingham.

This library was really nice, didn’t know Birmingham had a nice library like this. Didn’t have the opportunity to read a book or study there but definitely will in the future. It was quite quiet and everyone minded their own business. When I came the private booths were closed off so when I do visit again I hope they will be accessible to the public.

A very unusual but beautiful building. There are two outdoor garden terraces, children’s spaces and a panoramic viewing gallery at the summit, where visitors are able to enjoy stunning views from one of the highest points in the city.

One of the great piece of infrastructure and a must visit place in birmingham city center . This library is the largest library in Europe . Inside environment is very classic and outside is too mesmerising. Best place I like in here is its balcony sections with sitting place where u can enjoy beautiful view of surroundings. Best place for bookish insects and tourists also . 👌

Interesting building particularly the inside levels. Great viewing area on the 9th floor which also has a small Shakespeare room. Good spaces for study and lots of books. Definitely worth a visit even if just to go up the escalators.

Heaven for book lovers, the Library of Birmingham is one of the modern libraries. With an immense collection of books and journals, it is the perfect place for students to find what they are looking for! Still managing to keep the history together, the Shakespeare room on L9 is being renovated using the original wood and knobs of the Library. View from the secret garden of marvelous, one can view Birmingham's beauty from up there.

Definitely worth a visit. Enjoy a free view of Birmingham from the 3rd floor terrace and the 7th floor secret garden. Also the interior itself and the Shakespeare room on the 9th floor are nice. Good place to bring kids as the inside looks like a dark sky with stars.

Most serene experience that I’ve had in a while. Felt amazing to be there amongst the best books and pages in history. It’s a surreal experience indeed to be there and bask in the beauty of the place. The rooftop is beautiful as well a where you can actually hang out for sometime and have a beautiful view of the city and buildings from the terrace. It’s worth a visit for every individual who visits Birmingham.

Easy to access and park, the canal area was well lit and very picturesque.. Upper balcony of the Symphony Hall seating gave excellent views of the stage and the sound was excellent. Jules Holland and his orchestra were brilliant as usual. Only gripe was that the seats became uncomfortable after a short while.

Amazing concert. CBSO are fabulous. Their new conductor, Kazuki, is inclusive, energetic and entertaining. Sheku Kanneh-Mason was so accomplished, he put so much emotion into his wonderful interpretation of Shostakovich cello concerto. Thank you 😊

The hall is now 31 years old and I have never previously attended. We went to see James Morrison and his two support acts Casey Mquillan and Newt Faulkner were both really good which made an enjoyable night even better. The hall has been built with acoustics in mind so the sound was crystal clear. The staff were all very professional, the venue was immaculately clean and we are keen to return.

I had one of the most amazing experiences here meeting 6 of the Neighbors cast at the celebration tour. The show was incredible. The theater is beautiful and the staff were really helpful. There is a lot of recycling facilities right in the bar which we love to see. The whole night was very well orchestrated, hugely helped by the amazing tour manager but the venue staff must have worked very hard to pull everything together too. The security guy was very reassuring when I was late.

Excellent night and world class performance. The review if for the symphony hall, not the acts that perform here. The hall is easy to find and being close to Birmingham centre is surrounded with parking options. If you are commuting via train, Birmingham new street train station is a 5 minute walk away. It is also 100 yards away from the tram line, although never used this I do not know how the times marry up with start and finishes of the performances. The lobby is well decorated inside with modern décor and was warm throughout. There are bars available on each floor serving a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks as well as light snacks. There is enough seating to allow around a 1/3 of the capacity to sit before any performance. Toilets are located throughout and even when using during the interval the quantity of facilities meant the line was very quick moving with little delay at all. The main area is grand with ornate décor and is well worth observing before or after the show. The seats were fairly comfortable and during the entire performance I never felt the need to adjust my position which is something I do regularly when attending the cinema. There was no where to put drinks down and the leg room was a little restrictive meaning holding any no sealable drinks until finished is the only option. The only reason I wouldn't give this venue 5 stars is because of 2 reasons. Although there is a bar on each level, the division of staffing isn't well thought out and so depending which bar you go to you may stand in line for the entire interval in order to reach the front. It was raining lightly when we attended and during quieter parts of the performance the rain could be heard through the ceiling. This could perhaps use a thicker/denser soundproofing.

What an amazing venue. The acoustics are fantastic. It's quite a small and intimate venue. The staff here are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for them. I have been here twice and will not hesitate to visit again in the future.

Beautiful glorious venue which lends itself to music gigs really well. The sound is fantastic, along with the foyer, bar snd eating areas. The staff are really helpful and I can't recommend this as a venue enough .

Absolutely thrilled with tonight's Movie Magic performance by The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra @TheCBSO. Listening to these world renowned pieces of music from box office hits was spine tingling. The highlights for me was: Harry Potter, The Avengers, Jaws, Back to the Future, The Great Escape, Star Wars, Star Trek and many other fantastic pieces, bringing back emotions and memories of when I first watched these great films.

Recent Visit...... First visit on someone recommendations: It wasn't delightful as per expectations, however, overall experience was good. Comparatively, #mylahoreManchester is a better choice. Been to this place over a dozen times and the food has always been excellent. Always busy and the staff are friendly. Sometimes if it's very busy you have to wait for awhile the longest I waited must be around 15 mins. Also been to the Manchester branch but there's something about the Birmingham My Lahore which I prefer.

The place was very busy on a Saturday evening which was obviously a good sign. There was a little wait before being sat down. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Highly recommended

I loved my whole experience here, even though they are quite busy, (because they are sooo good) I was attended to quickly and warmly by Fiaz. Such wonderful service. The rest of the country could go to school here for service. The food I had was absolutely delicious. The sauces for the Poppadoms had their own variation on what I’m use to but it was even better! The same for the Pilau rice and the chicken Korma, that much better than I’ve ever had! Thank you. I’ll let my company know you’re here. (We are here for a week doing “Dirty Dancing”) I ate the lot!! Beautiful views while you eat❣️

Food was absolutely amazing 💯% will definitely be going back I recommend The Achari meat with Tandoori Roti and if your not into curries there's Burgers,Panini, Stir-frys and plenty more to choose.

I have been at MyLahore a couple of times now. It’s always a great experience for me. The food never disappoints and the service was great today! I have taken the waiter’s advice on the sweet chilli fries and it was delicious. Great place to come with friends and/or family

Parking available on site and opposite road. May be on the border/in clean air zone so double check if driving old car. Food very delicious the numerous times we have been there. Still consistent with quality.

Came here alone one night then woth friends the next night. Service was great, food was amazing and the dancing and singing waiter was brilliant!! Young lad who is on the shop floor. Will be back, thank you :)

Positives : great tasting dishes.. friendly staff.. Negatives : food menu extremely small writing difficult to read : tables too small for ordering a mixture of tapas : tables too close to the next table difficult to have a 'personal' conversation also shopping 🛍 bags made it difficult to get out once the meal was finished.. no finger wash bowls if you order the gambas in garlic and parsley oil only a small lemon hard wet wipe. Maybe I expected more than a very 'rushed & squashed' tapas experience for my £88 for 2 people at lunchtime ?..

Located in New Street Station, which we always make a point of arriving early at so we can visit this place. Friendly staff, lovely freshly cooked tapas & great drinks, the Cava is spot on.

I visited this restaurant on a date with my boyfriend on Friday, and was very very happy with our experience! We usually go to yo sushi next door, but thought we would try something different, and we always liked the look of this place. We had 6 dishes of some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. The sausage tapas dish (I can't remember the name) was my favourite! And also the potato dish too. The food came out so quickly it was amazing. The staff are so so so friendly and very helpful the whole time we were there. I'm not completely sure but I think the waitress was called Yaiza? She was so nice! Really made us feel welcome and made our experience even better. My boyfriend tried their homemade lemonade and it was so lemony it was delicious! I had the sangria and unfortunately it went to my head a bit since I'd already had a couple drinks, but it was very delicious while I could still enjoy it 😂.

I just had the best brunch in a while. I have had some Spanish dishes before but from places that were not labelled as spanish and wanted to try something as close to the real deal as possible. We absolutely enjoyed our tapas and we had the shared dessert plate- which was such a treat. We also had the white wine sangria- i was afraid it would not be very good compared to the original red wine one, but it was amazing 😻. I will be back for sure and my friend as well- there are so many other dishes to try out 😍

Had a fantastic lunch here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. As we were lunching we went for the seven course tasting menu and a carafe of white wine and a glass of red rather than having the wine pairing. Each of the courses, and indeed the snacks, were delicious. Real standouts were the quail and the pumpkin custard dessert. Each dish was a brilliant mix of textures and flavours and beautifully presented. Service was great and we even got a little bottle of syrup each to make calted caramel coffees. Another fantastic experience at Adam's and hopefully one we'll be able to enjoy again.

We had the 5 course lunch menu and it was a real treat. Each one had so much flavour. There is a 3 course option but the meals aren’t huge so that might leave you a little hungry.

Some people like an afternoon at Old Trafford. Or perhaps Edgbaston for the same money. I suggest you immediately consider being drowned in flavour and innovation at Adam's. I'm watching a particularly precise construction at the pass when a creamy pink sauce is poured before "service please" I'd called. I sat at the Chef's table last Friday and was the only vegetarian option of 8 for the tasting menu. It was sublime and I highly recommend the experience of both menus. Their venison, their skate and certainly their satisfaction makes me want to return. The details of the meal I had have been captured elsewhere as I took copious notes while being entertained. I recommend you do what you can and enjoy James Goodyear and his staff and his kitchen asap. Huge thank you to Kim, as well, who guided me enough to not make me feel as though I was ever at risk of being lost or forgotten.

4.5/5. Dined here last evening for birthday/anniversary celebration. Second visit in four months. The tasting menu was varied and interesting, see pic. They accommodated my OH who doesn't eat red meat or chocolate. I've only docked 1/2 point as both dishes for one course were served tepid (lemon sole/lamb) the lamb was also chewy. (I offered this feedback and was offered another dish which I declined). I'm also not a fan of unisex toilets. The service synchronisation was a little hit and miss such that the spacing between courses was inconsistent. Our aperitifs were slow to arrive which then cut into the wine time. All this does not detract from a lovely evening. But often its the attention to detail which makes the difference, especially for a high priced evening. Will definitely return however. Thank you for the greetings cards on the table.

Fantastic experience. Had the 7 course tasting menu with the accompanying wine. Staff were extremely professional and showed good depth of knowledge of both the food and wine.

First time visiting and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the tasting menu, the food was not the best in my opinion, a lot of the dishes were very salty and raw. I loved the dessert, overall will rate them a 6/10.

I have visited Adam's twice and I was very impressed, especially during the second visit. The tasting menu was very well-designed, and the food had great flavour combination and balance. Ambiance was good and the service was excellent. In fact, I find Adam's to be better than some of the two-Michelin star restaurants that I have been to! I highly recommend Adam's and I fully intend to return in the future.

If you spend this kind of money you would expect to leave a restaurant full, satisfied and wowed. We left hungry, confused and I suppose full of laughter from what we experienced. Maybe we aren't used to this kind of dining but it overall was not a good experience. The food was pretentious and not up to standard. Presentation was great but you need to combine that with a really satisfying result.

Overall great experience. But my problem with Fine dining will always be the portion size. Unfortunately it's too little but everything that was served was delish.

On route to Old Trafford we took a quick detour to Shere Khan’s Star City on 20/10/21. Amazing service!!! Great food, authentic and not watered down. Excellent customer service. The lamb chops were to die for, the mains were good. I will definitely go back when I’m back in the area. Give it try u won’t you won’t be disappointed.

From the moment we walked in we had a lovely warm welcome from the lovely (Gina). She was very accommodating to our needs especially after our prior bad experience with TGI down the road. We was also greeted with a lovely welcome from (George ) Within 10 mins of us seating we were served with drinks and orders taken. The service is like 5* the food was VERY nice the presentation was on point. The communication throughout our dining experience was very accommodating. I’ll definitely recommend this place to dine to anyone especially if I’m back in this area I’ll be looking out for Gina and George.
