Very nice to visit in the summer. The sun is warm, the place around feels festive. There were lots of tourist and it was generally fun to look around and enjoy the sites. I joined a few tours and the history is very interesting too.

The world famous Brandenburg gate, living in Berlin I have visited this place on multiple occasion and it has always been a great experience. Be there t for a late night stroll or to see tulips bloom in April to celebration new year here. This magnificent gate symbolises the unity of east and West Berlin and a must visit if you are coming to Berlin.

The history is powerful and deep surrounding this iconic gate. Berlin: the story of a city is a great read for preparing to go and see the city of historic power. The square near the gate holds the American embassy, a star bucks, and a bunch of pickpockets, hustlers, and street performers working for a euro. The iconic buildings in the area have value in learning about prior to arrival too.

Great atmosphere although very busy first week of July. Plenty of places for a coffee and 5 minutes from the parliament building and the holocaust memorial. Definitely worth a visit.

Iconic landmark. Always busy with tourists, difficult to get a clear photo. Even at night the place is busy. Easy to get to whether walking and talking in other wonderful views or public transport. One must see landmark in Berlin and Germany.

It was such an incredible experience to visit the outdoor gallery. Thought provoking paintings 🖼 on the wall by many artists. I love it!!’ I enjoyed walking around the area too. The location of the gallery is ideal. It is not far from the train station and there are plenty of shops nearby. Highly recommended to everyone 🇩🇪

If you are visiting Berlin, you should go see the remains of the Berlin Wall at the East Side Gallery. You can find it easily on a sightseeing bus tour if you don't feel comfortable finding it on your own.Artists from all over the world have painted lots of pictures on a long part of the Wall, and there are many different ones to see. You can take pictures and learn more about it. The Gallery is a very special place that helps you understand how big the Wall really is. Don't skip it.

Truly great place to visit. The art work on the Berlin Wall is amazing. This is a real piece of history and you can only just imagine what it was like before the wall was torn down. If you go to Berlin this is an absolute must to visit. Plus there is a nice cafe right next to it. Martha's Cafe. If it hadn't started pouring rain I would have stayed longer but I will definitely be revisiting on my next trip.

The wall has a great history in itself which anyone visiting there would be keen to know and the art done on the wall is amazing. It is so beautiful. It feels like just grab a drink and take a good amount of walk along the wall. It was a great adventure for me to see the beautiful graffiti.

Such a nice outdoor gallery on the remnants of the Berlin Wall, so much history. I loved walking down the wall and walking along the river on the way back. Of course it is free too

The East Side Gallery in Berlin is like a time-traveling street art history lesson. This stretch of the Berlin Wall is covered in awesome graffiti that tells a powerful story of unity beating division. Seriously, every mural is like a punch in the feels. It's emotional, man! When you go, just know it can get crazy busy, so maybe hit it up when the crowds aren't as nuts for a more chill vibe.

This is a long stretch of the wall which has been given to artists to paint in sections. The side of the wall along the main road has in excess of 100 murals with differing themes but freedom stands out the most. On going around today there are 3 sections which have been painted over so I guess someone will paint a mural in them. Currently there are some building works going on and about 150 metres has protection from the road however the wall is still there to see. This section of the wall has had the mural defaced with graffiti. The rear of the wall is blank apart from general graffiti. There is an ornate iron gate also built into wall. There is a grass area behind the wall with places to sit and a footpath that runs alongside the River Spree. I went about 1pm and it was fairly busy. The busiest part was the image of the leaders kissing. Well worth seeing and only 10 minutes walk from the East Side Mall.

Absolutely breathtaking and very very deep. It's amazing to see how much of die Mauer is still standing today; painted over with beautiful, meaningful murals from artists all around the world. This place holds so much meaning and worth without needing any words to explain it. It's still extremely hard to believe how it separated Berlin just over 30 years ago. It is very easy to access via the U2 and being free, it is a must go to for any visitor to Berlin

The perfect place to immerse yourself in the authenticity of the Berlin Wall. . We stayed at the hotel right next to the wall and found the park and wall remains amazing. . Here you can really begin to imagine the divide between the east and west side and picture the true scale of the wall along the main street. . The street art now dominates the remains and this in itself is a real treat to absorb. . 100% this is the place to visit to experience the 'wall'

Really nice place €9.00 per adult for the Cathedral and the dome. You can stay in the Cathedral as long as you like but when go up to the dome there is a one way system up one set of stairs and down another so when you come down you can't go back up. Be aware that there are approximately 270 steps to the dome but when you get there the views are brilliant

Beautiful cathedral with interesting tombs inside. I would have loved to have made it to the top for the panoramic views but it sounded too difficult to walk up there. Also note that if you buy the Museum Island pass, the Cathedral is not included, you have to buy tickets online separately.

This is one of the most beautiful churches in the world. There is an entry ticket of 10 euros and there is also a locker room. You can climb to the top by 273 stairs, the views are stunning from the top. Some portion of the church is still under construction so it was closed.

This is one of the most beautiful places one can go in Berlin. It is soo beautiful from inside. There is also an option to go to the top to have a nice aerial view of Berlin for which you can take around 270 steps up the Cathedral. There is a cafe and washroom available at the exit, but you can either go up, check the view and come back down or directly exit towards cafe. I would say definitely to check out the view from top. The entry fee is 9 euro for adults, for students 7€. It is better to book the ticket online a day before and you will get 1 hour to spend inside and I think it is sufficient to check out everything.

Arriving in time to hear the organ of the basilica. The building is interesting and worth a visit, but I have seen many more beautifully decorated ones. What you shouldn't miss, however, is a walk around the dome. Fantastic views! You can't take photos or move around during important ceremonies.

Beautiful cathedral steeped in history. The interior has lots of space and light and has immensely amount of details. It's recommended to book for a timed ticket online prior to visiting. You also have the option of travelling up to the sides of the dome (267 steps, with no lift assistance - but highly worth it) which offers spectacular panoramic views of Berlin.

This was one of the top places in Berlin to visit. You had to buy tickets at a machine outside the cathedral. An adult ticket was €9 and got in up to three children for free. The inside was beautiful. But climbing 270 stairs to the dome have beautiful views, with the climb.

September was really great for visiting Berlin and its many attractions. The Berlin Cathedral is certainly one of them that should not be overlooked. I was very happy with the relaxation of the young people, who sat on the lawn in front of the magnificent 200-year-old lady.

I spent 1h and a half at the castle but could have spent more. The palace is beautiful, it’s sad to read about all the destruction it went through though. Some of the rooms could not be rebuilt to their original as there were no pictures or records of what they used to look like.

A very beautiful place. And the price is also good for what you can see. The palace itself was very big and the story that you can listen with it through headphones really gives a good image of how it was in the past. Also the garden was insanely big and very beautiful to see. A really bucketlist thing if you're in Berlin.

Beautiful Historic architecture. A must visit place for people who love photography, and silence. The Park which is just in front (or behind) the Palace is so beautiful. There are a lot many seats to sit, and during Spring the Park is full of colourful flowers. The place is really nice, and worth visiting. Keep in mind, the Palace is quite far from the S Bahn, a bus needs to be taken to reach the Palace.

Charlottenburg Palace is actually a large garden open to the public. The area inside is very large, but in addition to visiting the garden, the Charlottenburg Palace block outside is also very worth visiting. First of all, although this block is close to the palace, there is no Generally, the popular tourist attractions are noisy, very quiet, the whole block is lined with trees, and the houses on both sides are very characteristic of European houses. It is very comfortable to stroll through, and it is a pleasure to walk in the afternoon sun. Palace is a beautiful palace in the center of Berlin. Brilliant audio tour around countless rooms, most of which are furnished. We spent many hours here so great value for money! Photography not allowed in many of the rooms in the main Palace but more relaxed in exhibitions and other areas. We bought tickets that included entry to 3 separate areas including old and new Palace and pavilion. Entry to the garden is free.

It’s hard to give a rating for a memorial like this. It has so much meaning to different people who have and will visit it. it’s very difficult to interpret the meaning of a rating and what it could imply a to something like this. Personally I found it quite a moving experience walking through the blocks and reading some of the information about various individuals. Walking between the blocks I felt strength, a unity of purpose and a statement that those who have been and will be persecuted have a voice, maybe not their own but none the less persecution can’t be hidden.

Fantastic and moving free museum. No need to get the audio guide, as there was an abundance of text and information to read. Very informative, and does not shy away from any topics which is appreciated in a museum with a topic such as this one. My only issue was we had to wait outside in the sun for around 15 minutes before being let in, but it was very worth it. It also got very crowded in the beginning section, which is a narrow hallway. It was difficult to move ahead as you are at the whim of the people in front of you. I would recommend going at a less busy time. Overall not a perfect experience but very much a worthwhile and important one.

What an amazing place. We certainly did not expect that. It is located between the mall of Berlin and the Brandenburg gate. You can also go underneath to know more about the story Kids loved it there since they can play hide and seek. Different from other attractions in Berlin that could be boring for kids.

What can I say. Breath taking, awe inspiring, thought provoking. It's just absolutely amazing to see how it's laid out and it really makes you see. If you get chance to have a guided walking tour, they will give you an insight on why it was built. All blocks are different and as you look across you can't see over the last one, this represents the neverending amount of Jews killed. Absolutely amazing to be there

A great way to physically show the next generations the importance of history and why we should always learn from it. Situated actoss from the American embassy with blocks representing age of victims and the design intentionally disorientating once inside it in order to convey the fear experienced by the Jewish community it is dedicated to.

Must visit place if you are in berlin. But unforyunately the walls are getting old and not maintained, the paint has started to fade. But overall is okay. Catching sunset in here are amazing

It feels wrong when the rating says "loved it", because obviously it's not something to love, but the place was so worth the visit. The museum was heartbreaking and difficult to go through, but the staff was lovely and making sure to follow the covid guidelines to keep their guests safe. My one wish is that they should put clear signs that what you can listen to on the phones are stories from survivors. I thought it would be audio of the information of the room since there was a lot of text in that room, but my sister decided to listen and told me what it was, so I could listen too, and those stories were the most heartbreaking and powerful ones there. Please put up some clearer signs so more people get to experience those stories. They're important.

The monument consists of “The Holocaust memorial” and underground museum. Strongly recommend to visit museum before entering the Memorial itself. Free entry, just 20-30minutes waiting time in a queue which is worth. Attn! Museum is not for children.

The Holocaust Memorial was created in 1999 to remember the Jews that were murdered enmass in Germany. It's a place of contemplation, a place of remembrance and warning. Tasty food at a great price! We had to wait a little bit outside to get a table. Once inside, it was cold because they had all the fans on…in December. A bit bizarre. The pho was to die for and the dumplings were perfection. We also had the duck in spicy mango sauce which was delicious.

Food was amazing. It’s a really popular place, so be ready to wait to be seated. Service is good, but sometimes a bit busy. We will definitely come back again. I enjoyed my curry with fish.

My absolute favorite was the tofu in spicy coconut-soy sauce. I ordered a few other items (chicken skewers, beetroot salad) that were good but they all tasted a bit too bland for my tastes.

I had the pleasure of dining at famous Monsieur Vuong restaurant with friends, and it was a fantastic experience. The fresh and delicious salads, flavorful chicken dishes, and amazing king prawns left us all in awe. The vibrant flavors and great company made it a memorable meal!

I always love the curry + the fast and friendly service here. Staff is super friendly and attentive, also the food doesn’t take long at all. Surely not the cheapest but definitely worth the price. We unfortunately don’t live close by, otherwise we’d come far more often. Definitely recommend, so yummy!

Exceeded my lofty expectations with top-notch food and service. The beetroot salad and the fried fish curry were perfectly seasoned and cooked (the latter also had very generous portions), and my server Ngu (sp?) was incredibly attentive and responsive. All the orders came out within a few minutes, which is impressive considering the place was completely packed with just 2-3 servers.

The place was full when we arrived but luckily we managed to get a table. Service was quick and efficient despite the amount of customers. Food was delicious.

Finally convinced my skeptical wife to go and try asian cuisine and it was a perfect dinner. Everything tasted great, stuff were super friendly, good english communication, you can’t dissappoint. Glad we choose this place. Just go.

Absolutely hands down the most incredible Vietnamese pho I've ever had! The depth of flavor in the soup is simply unparalleled, and the chili sauce adds an amazing kick. All of this at a price that won't break the bank. No doubt in my mind, I'll be coming back for more!

I got the childrens plate and it was just perfect! The taste I have never tried before but for sure one of my favourite after that day! The waiter was also super nice! He even asked me if thats for sure okay for me because the dish I chose is mainly soup. That was so nice of him! Prices are also reasonable I would say. However its sad because it was kinda hard to find something for myself so I would be suggest to add some more dishes, as I got the feeling there is more to drink than to eat. And just little thing is that I have to point out, its a little hard visually to read the menu :/ However I totally recommend paying a visit to this place!

I was pleasantly surprised! It was my first time trying Vietnamese cuisine, and I liked it a lot. The pho soup looks simple, and it essentially is, but it was surprisingly satisfying, very delicate and balanced flavors, not easy to achieve. The spring rolls were tasty with depth in flavors. However! They served me with a bowl of chili liquid as if it was a soup, and didn't bother to warn me or mention how spicy it is, so I naturally assumed that I'm supposed to finish the whole bowl of chili with the soup, so I poured a lot of it into my pho bowl, and I almost head a heart attack! It was the most painful experience of spice I've had so far. I'm fine now, but I think that I've had some kind of intense spiritual rebirth after it. The pineapple cocktail is divine, and was a perfect end for this third-eye opening culinary experience.

Visited the Madami after twice years during recent visit to Berlin. This time tries their Burger with Tofu. Something different. They have very large number of vegetarian and vegan options. Their Glass noodles are a must try. Overall ambiance is good. Service is also fast. Since, it really gets full it is better to seek reservations or reach early for comfortable sitting. Try their Madami Green or Red cocktails.

The entirety of the adventure is enjoyable. The dinner was presented attractively, however it did not at all meet our expectations in terms of flavor. It was satisfactory, but it didn't blow my mind in any way. You can sample the burger, which is a unique take on the traditional variety. The service was also really swift, and the staff was very polite. The ambiance is very pleasant.

I felt quite ignored by the staff for a while. They were nice when they did tend to us, it just took a while. I had the Bao Burger. Solid. Between the buns the burger was lacking a little. It was good, but nothing to write home about. The buns were incredibly fluffy as advertised. The lemon grass, lemon tea I can recommend

Very tasty Vietnamese traditional food at the Mitte area where very there's very competitive restaurants. Service is very welcoming and smiley. Reasonable prices towards an upper level.... Tea very expensive 4.2 ? The vibe of the place is very relaxed and let you feel at home. Sufficient space between tables in this time of Covid. I'd recommend them very highly

Overall good experience at Madami. The food is cheap and really tasty but the amount of food is not significant. Also the staff is not really friendly and barely speaks English. The bao burger was flavorful and the crispy chicken brings a lot.

Friendly staff and a nice place. The food is great and plenty. We went for the menu and got more food then we could finish. A must visit if you're a fan of Asian cuisine.

Came here after seeing recommendations on the pork knuckle and was not disappointed. Quite a large serve and done very well - the potatoes were especially good. We went early on Saturday night around 6pm and easily got a table sitting outside. I'll definitely be going back when I'm next in Berlin to try the schnitzel and the desserts.

I have dined here twice and both experiences were great. First of all, the booking process is very convenient, as you can make a reservation through Google Maps. Secondly, the dishes are very satisfying in terms of taste. I came for the crispy pork knuckle, which was reasonably priced, generous in portion, and tender on the inside with a crispy skin on the outside. I also highly recommend their home-made mint tea, which is refreshing and helps with digestion. The staff is friendly and communication in English is not a problem. Highly recommended ：）

Nice place with descent food and good service. We were a group of 6 and received our food and drinks quick. We were there at 9 in the evening on a Monday, dont know if its was less people than normal. Nevertheless a great experience!

Excellent traditional German food in a comfortable environment. Our server was extremely nice, however (as with many restaurants) it is clear that they are a bit understaffed. Be prepared to wait a bit here. They did have vegetarian options, though quite limited.

We got schnitzel with asparagus , fried mushrooms, asparagus soup. The portions are big and worth the money. The schnitzel is very good and the garlic sauce for the mushrooms, delicious. The wine choices are very good. We didnt reserve a seat. The service is kind of slow but it is okay, they are very kind.

Delicious vegetarian Italian food, amazing service, and great decorations! Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because the gnocchi being very salty. We needed to eat it with the other dishes and bread to lower the saltiness. Besides from that, everything were great. The texture of the pasta is phenomenal. Highly recommend!

Good food, good service! My partner mentioned it was my birthday but they did not do anything with that information. Wine was 19€ for 0.5l. Only with the pistachio tiramisu we did not really taste the pistachio🙈, and the bread was a bit dry… but overall nice experience.

a dinner for one, €70 and a little more. the presentation of the dishes is quite elegant and the flavors well achieved. the staff is Italian and it was very comfortable for me to communicate. fast and the cocktails were also delicious. everything was clean on the table and I would love to go again.

A very modern and exquisite restaurant, with probably the best service in the city. Weekly changing specials and a menu out of italian heaven. Prices are high, but match the quality of food and service. We felt very welcome, had a great evening with our families and very much appreciated the ability to order special pasta for the kids although it was not on the menu. Great experience.

I was here for breakfast and the place is very nice. The view of the Berlin is great. The breakfast is also very good with the scrambled eggs being a real favourite. Also I can really recommend the tour of the Dome afterwards as it is included in the visit.

If I could give it a higher rating I would. Great food. It's fine dining so we went for all seven courses and were full afterwards. Service was excellent I took my three kids and they were made very welcome. Smart casual dress code added to a very relaxed atmosphere. Treat yourself you won't be disappointed.

Eating here is an experience that you very likely won't find anywhere else. I mean eating not only within a parliament building, but on top of it. The view from the terrace is beautiful with views of the Fernsehturm, Berliner Dom and Synagogue. The food was absolutely lovely too, came out extremely quickly and all tasted amazing - It does have set menus so there is only little selection. It's definitely worth the price tag for the visit

Stunning restaurant in terms of German dinning experience at the heart of Berlin! Only available if booked in advance and gone through background checks and clearance (full name, passport etc). Upon arrival you’re expected to go through airport style security checks then wait for up to 20 mins until escorted inside the lobby of the parliament then via lift to the top where the dome (and the restaurant) is. If it’s your first time up there you may find signage to the restaurant on the poor side as one point to one direction and the other one towards inside the dome. It appeared wheelchair accessible but better check when booking a table. When dined in the restaurant, there was a military VIP dining in as well so nearby tables were busy with undercover security (not sure if that was necessary since we were all background-cleared). The waiting staff were extremely kind and professional, refined and obliging. We had a 5-course dinner and loved every dish and the wine. On the pricy side but worth every penny - I also appreciate its not a restaurant to go to every day. Clean, tidy including the toilets. I’d definitely recommend it to everyone visiting Berlin for a treat.

The highlight of the restaurant is obviously the terrace and the view, which is amazing. The restaurant in itself isn't bad, but it's expensive. However it's a perfect place to invite your parents or your guests for a nice lunch / brunch on a sunny day and then have a walk up to the top of the dome.

Great little restaurant next to the Reichstag glass dome. You get a great view of the city from up there. The service was fantastic – Friendly and helpful staff. The food was very good. Prices are higher than the Berlin average but considering location and quality of service they’re still reasonable. A big plus that they cater for vegetarian and gluten-free diets. We were seated in the glass pavilion part and had uninterrupted sweeping views of the city. Can definitely recommend.

Food and service are excellent. I am gluten-free (celiac) and Sabine and her team made sure all items served to me were safe. Others at my table were not gluten-free, and everyone gave rave reviews. Do arrive a bit early to enjoy the rooftop view of the Tiergarten, Brandenburg Gate, the surrounding buildings, and the Berlin skyline.

I ordered the onion soup, the schnitzel and the chocolate mousse cake. To say the least, I was disappointed. The service was above average but not spectacular, the staff was nice and friendly. However, the food was bad. When sitting down the first thing I realized is that they do not have proper napkins, just thin tissues which is ok but not for a restaurant at this price point. I ordered the onion soup as my starter, and it tasted like pure soy sauce and some tofu. The presentation was great but the soup was really disappointing. Then I ordered the schnitzel, which wasn’t properly cooked, you could still taste the egg-wash and it was not brown enough either. Everyone except me and one other person got a well cooked schnitzel, maybe they were in a rush. The dessert was delicious and look good as well. I enjoyed the dessert and it was the best of all three. To conclude, it wasn’t worth the money or time. Do not recommend.
