Bergamo

Bergamo is a picturesque city in Lombardy, Italy, located at the foot of the Alps. A stroll through the medieval old town of Bergamo, with its narrow cobbled streets, takes you past palaces and other historic buildings, including the Teatro Donizetti. In the Piazza Vecchia, a Palazzo del Podestà by the architect Bartolomeo Gadio dominates the town’s skyline. Bergamo is also known for its towers and large medieval churches, as well as the scenic drive to the nearby Lake Iseo.
