A very nice place for walking and running or just chilling out. The place is also suitable for kids. The scenery is fantastic and enjoyable especially when the sun is rising. There’s a war/military museum, a basketball area, dinosaurs exhibition and the fortress itself.

This is a great place to see - inside and around you can admire a lot of historical items - tanks, canons, swards and other types of arms from old times, clothes, glasses and a lot of other objects. The fortress is impressive and the view is really great. This is a place where I'd love to return.

One of the most beautiful places in Belgrade, especially during sunset. It's completely free entry. You can take a very long walk and have a nice time alone with yourself or with your family. There are plenty of places to sit and read a book or have a cup of coffee. I am so happy that we discovered this place, will definitely visit again. Also was amazed with military weapons at the entrance of the Belgrade Fortress.

Nice place to have a walk around. Lots of people about but of course it's a free park and it's Saturday afternoon. Good views from different parts of the fortress, a bit derelict in places hence the one star drop. Worth a look if you are in Belgrade.

The fort is huge. You can spend hours walking there and enjoying the views. A lot of the fort has been restored which makes the whole place super awesome. A large park has also been made inside the fort.

Very well maintained. It’s completely free entry. Best part is that sunset from here it’s just breathtaking. You can go to top platform to fort. But for there you need to pay 50 Dinnars . From that place I took awesome sunset photos and Timelapse.

Sadly the main attraction of the fortress was under renovation but i absolutely loved the time i spent here. Beautiful castle with many other attractions inside like the torture museum, dinosaur park, kalemegdan park, clock tower, military museum. I will visit it again another time i come to Belgrade because I really want to see it in its fully renovated glory.

Went there for a choir recital. Down in the crypt where the mosaics are quite beautiful. The rest of the cathedral is not yet finished and scaffolding is in evidence all over. It will be very beautiful when it is completed. The crypt alone is worth going to see. Recommended.

St. Sava Cathedral is a large, newly built church in the heart of Belgrade. The huge structure consists of several domes built in the Byzantine style. Inside, the walls and ceilings are covered with paintings of icons and saints. In the middle hangs a huge chandelier that fills half the cathedral, you can also go down into the crypt to admire more fantastic paintings

An amazing Serbian Orthodox Church that is a must visit. I did not know about the catacombs below, so be sure to check that out if you go. Please be thoughtful and wear pants. No one bothers if you don't, but it is the national church of Serbia, so if you can, you should. The park around the church is a nice place to relax for a bit before you continue your tour.

By far the most spectacular orthodox church to see in Belgrade. Don't forget to go down the stairs to the crypt below the main hall. The vast wall decorations tempt you to jest stare above and study their stories. Minor inconvenience is the fact that there are still works inside as the church is not fully finished yet.

Very impressive building. The amount of detail put into making all the mosaics is amazing. Easy access to most parts of the structure. I can only imagine the beautiful sound of Orthodox Christian choir(s) inside the temple. Хвала на предивном храму!

A top 3 tourist attraction. Outside is a giant construction and once you reach inside (free) it's breathtaking. Unique mosaics and also huge. Religious artpieces with old story behind each one. Don't forget to go 1 level underground for even more. Inside are shops with religious souvenirs at good prices.

Beautiful inside. Beware of pick pockets. One of our group nearly had his wallet stolen from his pocket. Luckily someone spotted it and was carrying a walking stick to fend him off. It was 3 men who appeared to be tourists.

Beautiful church. Really enjoyed walking around it and through it. Beautiful gold with amazing depictions of Jesus throughout the interior. Not too crowded even when I visited on a Saturday. It is open for most of the day. Make sure to also walk around the park that is right next to the church. Would recommend to anyone if they are visiting Belgrade.

The most beautiful and the biggest temple in Belgrade. It is almost finished and you can make great photos inside and down, in the kript. The church shop is good and choose a sunny day!

Beautiful, but watch your step with all of the construction. This would be a five star review but there are no washrooms. It appears that orthodox Christians don’t need to pee. The art is stunning. We’ll worth a visit.

Beautiful cathedral to visit in the city of Belgrade. When we went there was construction going on, so loud noises. Otherwise seems like a quiet place to visit.

Magnificent! The Temple of Saint Sava is grand, well decorated and a true masterpiece. It’s hard to understand just how big it is until your standing in front of it. The interior is beautifully decorated and the architecture is beautiful! Recommend checking this Temple out and make sure to really appreciate all the detail.

Even those who are not religious will find it interesting to visit. The church is quite large-scale, with detailed mosaics. There were no clothing restrictions when entering, everything could be photographed and entry was free for everyone.

The touristic attractions here, many stores to shop, cafes and bars to sit and in overall beautiful street to walk on which also connects to other many pedestrian streets.

The guided tour is quite good. However, the museum itself could be much better. You cannot play with any instruments. Therefore, you will actually not expand your knowledge about electricity a lot. Be aware that this small museum tend to get packed, so might not get a ticket if you will not arrive a few minutes before the hour of the next guided tour.

Excellent! The museum is small but enough for learning about him. They organize a tour with fixed price for tourists every hour. We were there around 10.30 am and did not wait so much to get in. They don’t accept credit card so better to go there with Serbian dinar. Since there are 50 people in the group, better to be in front to listen better the guide. Overall, definitely worth the visit!

A tiny but fantastic museum. It has Tesla's belongings, clothes, and other objects. It also has some of his inventions and the curator/tour guides (Serbian/English) demonstrate some of his inventions using tube lights, turbines, etc. They also show movie on Tesla in Serbian (with English subtitles). Tesla's ashes are also preserved here in an urn.

The museum is nice and there is a guided tour. However, I expected there would be more things to see. There are essentially 2 rooms and 1 hallway. The way it was explained to me by the guy working there, the price for entering the museum is the same whether you want to go on a tour or just wonder around on your own. The ticket is about 8 euros. In my opinion it's not worth it if you don't do the tour which lasts about 45min. It consists of a presentation(they play a film), and then the guide takes you through 7 exponents where they show you how Tesla's inventions work. That was the only type of unique experience. The staff are very polite, but I wasn't amazed and I expected to see a lot more therefore only 3 stars.

Very interesting little museum for me as an electrical engineer to figure out who invented electricity. It is a pity that it is very difficult to enter, because there are many visitors and absurdly there is no individual booking system but only for groups of 10 people through Agencies. So we being 2 only after several discussions with the assistants outside the door were we able to enter. Bad flow organization.

I liked this small but impressive Tesla museum. That would be great if you could buy the tickets online, but it’s not possible.Also, they don’t accept any other currencies and debit or credit cards,except Serbian dinar. Bring cash with you. Also, it has a waiting people always in the entrance and you should wait for sure.

For 800 dinar you don't even get to use the toilet, in fact there isn't one for visitors. Very small exhibition, the first part is a cringy video about Tesla's life, the second part is demonstrations of some inventions. The guide doesn't provide much useful information. We paid extra for an English tour (you need to pay for a tour even if you don't want to wait for a tour to begin) but the guide was preoccupied with a delegation (some diplomats in suits?) and so said everything in English and Serbian. Why do we pay more for this if they don't? The delegation also somehow had the best seats reserved, so we couldn't even properly see some of the demonstrations. Many other inventions that would have been nice to see have "do not touch" signs on them. Why have interactive exhibits if guests cannot interact with them? Also VR exhibit was advertised but not offered in the tour. In general this museum is just a way to extract maximal money from tourists who have much higher hopes. I cannot recommend this museum unless they change their approach.

I came here only because I saw a lot of good reviews but I really don’t understand why. This place has nothing remarkable for tourists to see. A better alternative, if you are passionate about science or just curious, is the Nikola Tesla Museum in Zagreb. Also, be aware of the programme (there are hours in which the guide speaks in English or in Serbian) and the fact that you can pay only in cash! I think this is quite strange that you must pay in cash at every museum in Serbia…

Nice museum of the history of Nicola Tesla. Every hour a small tour is given to max 60 people. A small exhibition, a video and some interactive experiments with the famous Tesla Coil. Also fun for children. If you have a group of 10 or more tickets are cheaper but you have to book tickets in advance. Tickets at the door can only be payed in (local) cash.

Visited the Nikola Tesla Museum during COVID times and it was still a fascinating experience! 😷 Despite the mask situation, the museum managed to captivate us with its intriguing exhibits. It's a smaller space, but the journey through Tesla's genius mind was both educational and enjoyable. ⚡ Definitely a must-visit.

Great zoo with many different animals. Very well kept as well, and the animals seem to have decent space to move around, considering it is a city zoo. It was not very crowded when we were there, so it was easy to move around. The prices are also reasonable, and there is also a souvenir shop located at the entrance. Can definitly recommend as a must visit when in Belgrade.

Belgrade Zoo, also known as the Garden of Good Hope, is located within the Belgrade Fortress, more precisely in Mali Kalemegdan. Today, the zoo covers about 7 hectares and has around 2,000 animals. With more than 400,000 visitors a year, Belgrade Zoo is also one of the most visited attractions in Belgrade.

Much better than I remember it! The habitats are bigger and some animals like bears have much more space. Also there are new species of birds and they are rebuilding the reptile house. Can't wait to visit again!

One of the nicest zoos I've seen. Been there with the family, and the kids didn't want to leave. They have there many animals and of different types, some are even rare, such as the white tiger and a special kind of African's lion, which looks like a lion who had a hair fan :-D They also have a baby hippo which is super cute. The entrance fee is 550 dinars (~5 Euro) for adult and 350 dinars (~3 Euro) for child, which is not expensive at all. To sum it up, very recommended.

In the cages lots of new born birds were dead and their parents seem sad. In the monkeys section, some monkeys look hungry because they smell decay fruits in their cages and try to eat it. they also did not have water. One chimp try to get attention to one staff while I was there. He/she try to hit the cages with the bottle for water but the staff didn't even bother to look at the chimp, he just grumbuled . Some animals are kept alone :( The place is really sad actually

Beautiful zoo, very well taken care of! Nice and quiet place even thoe there are animals and city traffic. There are few coffee shops if you get tired and thirsty. Love it and recommend it.

It's really a good zoo to be visited in Serbia. They have a collection of wide variety of animals and all of them are maintained neatly. Good place for kids and families.

Excellent zoo with a wide variety of animals. Considering that it is a city zoo, the animals appear to have adequate area to walk around. When we were there, it wasn't extremely crowded, making it simple to go around. Additionally, there is a gift shop near the entrance with affordable prices. Can without a doubt suggest as a must see when in Belgrade.

DON'T GO !!! Going to this zoo was a horrible decision. I went there as a student with a program with my school and it was horrible. There are animals to see yea but they where living in such horrible conditions that only crying was my reaction. Not joy not excitement. Nothing. Animals where in rll bad condition, their cages as well. They had put there artic wolves in a cage that normally would fit only one. Parents where taking their kids there to see these poor animals and grow up thinking that that's how it's supposed to be. imagine being locked in a cage able to only eat and have people laugh and shout at you. Highly NOT recommended. Hated it and will never visit a zoo again.

Nothing but sad and depressed animals everywhere. This zoo should be shut down. It's out of date, over crowded cages not suitable for the animals. The poor alligator was alone in a concrete pen, animals more suited to open grassland, large birds needing open skies, big cats with nowhere to run. I could go on, it's one of the most depressing places I've ever visited. SHAME on belgrade for allowing this.

Amazing place to visit with family and kids. A lot of animals and very clean and neat place. There is place with popcorn or icecream so you can buy inside and sit and enjoy. Also there is coffee shop where you can take or sit and drink your coffee. Expect to enjoy and be there at least 2.5 hours.

This is probably the best place in Belgrade. The place to be proud of to present to your guests. Both, food and service are top quality. Staff was really awesome, very cheerful crew, they were ready to give us a small tour through the really worth of seeing restaurant. We had a very pleasant experience and pleasure to be there. One of the best restaurants we’ve been to while we were staying in Belgrade. The design of the ambience was playful and modern and the food was spot on. The staff was friendly and helpful and everyone spoke good English. We had an amazing time here, highly recommended!

It's so cool, but with pretty expensive food. You are paying for experience, which is okay. Service is great. Everyone was pleasant. Cheack out toilet, many cool touches inside and on the way. Deserts were great, so I recommend you try them.

This restaurant is so different to any other restaurant. The interior decoration is interesting, full of various pieces of art. The food is also good and the service friendly and attentive. We liked everything and I definitely recommend it.

I was at Sunday brunch, food was amazing, so many dishes, such a variety of tastes. Location is great, it was sunny Sunday morning. But for mu taste it was too crowded, a bit slow service they didn't know what dish they have served me, and which one they have forgoten, I ended up sitting 30 minutes waiting for last few gangs, I gave up... Maybe I will give them another chance when it is not so crowded, because I will say it again - food was AMAZING! They are popular, but really should have less tables, or more people working in front, and in kitchen.

Happy overall! Great spot with good tasty food. Had the chicken tacos and their soup. Food was priced ok. Drinks were expensive for Serbia. Service was good with attentive and well-mannered staff. We did have to move from the patio because of the ants, but was no issue. Great spot for dinner overlooking the water and the lit up bridge.

Great place to hang out with friends, colleagues, family. The Mexican style restaurant is not just Mexican as they do offer big variety of dishes. We have selected unlimited plate menu, so we had food keep on coming. Spiced with a very good Sauvignon this was great experience. Definitely recommend!

Let me start off by stating that we weren’t ready for the toro experience, so you should keep in mind that the amount of food is insane. Everything was amazing, the waiters really put up a show and the entire course was delicious. A great date night to say the least and recommendations for anyone brave enough to try it or just order separately are the shrimps, cake with pop candy which is genius and carrots with the most amazing sauce we ever tried.

We went there in the evening after our boat ride. Didn't have a reservation but got a table. We had a starter, 2 mains, 2 desserts, a soft drink, glass of wine and an espresso. We paid 7055 dinar. The food was tasty and I really liked it. Service was good and waiters friendly.

This was our last meal before we left to fly home to South Africa and what an experience it was!!!! Natalie was absolutely incredible and explained all the meals to us. Besides being a beautiful venue, the food and service was worth 10 🌟 We had Voz which is translated to Train and what a delightful Train ride it was tasting lots of Traditional Balkan food. Definitely a must!

Great location for food lovers. Unbelievably delicious and unique dining experience in Belgrade. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining each dish. The plates seemed to come endlessly, and each were tasty and unique in their own way. Also, nice choice of domestic wines and spirits.

Fantastic place with Serbian cuisine at the Sava River. Actually the best restaurant I have been to in Belgrade - and I have been in a few. We went there for business dinner and were served by fantastic waited - Milos. He talked us into trying out their „out of borders menu” which is a selection of almost all the dishes in the offer in small bits, so we could try everything - from amazing beff tartar, fantastic serbian sausages, cheeses, carpaccio, ajvar etc. The photos are from the first round of dishes - then we forgot to take photos…. They also have amazing drinks (also Virgin versions!) and desserts - I still have dreams about The cream puffs in hot chocolate. Fanastic!!! Will be back to Ambar asap!!!

Great food, great atmosphere and great river view. Had some of the home specialities and everything was really tasty and well prepared. Portion size is not too big which is good because it allows tasting many different recipes. Attention by Milan was fantastic, very nice and helpful!

Fabulous dinner! The Balkan tasting menu was endless (with the option of repeating any dishes you like!) and very tasty. The cocktails were also very delicious. The atmosphere was thoroughly enjoyable, with beautiful views of the river and especially lovely to experience over sunset. The waiter, Milos, was very helpful and friendly and explained what every single dish was. Would definitely recommend either as a group or as a couple!

Tried this place with a few friends and was very good. We shared started and all was very tasty. The stuffed peppers I would definitely recommend. I had the beef steak which was nice. A little bit chewy but we'll seasoned and everything else on the plate was great. Definitely recommend. Great wine also and live traditional music

We had lunch here in our recent trip, this food was great and served with a nice smile. Though it was long holiday weekend and we did not had any reservations but they were still super kind enough to offer us a table. We tried Serbian traditional food and it was delicious. The place has a cozy outdoor patio style sitting too

Had a soup with noodles as a starter and can recommend it. My wife chose tomatoe soup with pasta and was also great for my taste! As a main, I enjoyed a steak, and it was great too. Also quite interesting is to see the live band actually playing at some point at each table. The food was ready very quickly as well. All in all I can recommend the place.

Very basic food. The salad was the best dish of what we had. But we loved the atmosphere and service was very friendly. And it is not easy to be friendly, cause the place is crazy crowded!! We were on a Saturday night there.

This is an experience that any tourist in Belgrade has to do; food quality extremely good, nice to taste the dishes with the special recipe of the “3 hats”. Baklava was not exactly the Turkish one….but meat was extremely good. Also nice the pita: it is done with cheese inside.

Huge restaurant in Skadarlija where you can taste Serbian food and experience local music played live. The restaurant itself has a huge inside and outside. The outside is good as it is also heated. The service is good here and perfectly set up for tourists as the menu is in Serbian and English. Good choice of food and wine on the menu. As I said it is a good location and way to try Serbian food for the first time but I have to say I was a little disappointed with the food and there are better places to try Serbian food, if food is your main objective rather than all round atmosphere.

Already famous restaurant, I knew. And now I understand now why they are famous. The atmosphere is very positive, truly uplifting. Service is really good, they enjoy serving too. The only feedback is food is great, but too much portion - I could not finish all…. ;-) Such a pity I had to leave some great food unfinished.

We really enjoyed our dinner here! This is a lovely place to enjoy a ton of different local Serbian food and also listen to some nice live music. It is a very nice experience overall and it is definetely recommended! I would recommend you get the Serbian platter for two. Good value for money and you taste all the different local foods.

If you want to taste Serbia and their local food/specialties, that’s the place. Prices are okay (~20€/person) for a lot of delicious food. Service is very good for the amount of the reservations. Live music bringing a very festive atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming in Beograd.

One of the best restaurant in the capital! Amazing atmosphere great staff and first class authentic Serbian food made using the old traditional recipes. There’s live traditional music dimmed lights with candles just creating a perfect setting for a great dinner! Everything on the menu is delicious and there’s really no wrong choice!

Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had. This place is amazing. The Gorgonzola steak is phenomenal, and the eggplant Parmesan is out of this world. The staff is incredibly friendly and the ambiance is great. Update: went back the following night and it was just as good!!

Casa Nova is the most perfect restaurant for a long lazy lunch with a great ambience and vibe. A beautiful garden dining area separating you from the street, surrounded by clean manicured hedges. The staff are so much fun and we loved the banter throughout the afternoon. The menu will keep you busy for days, very flexible and plates of pasta are offered with your favourite pasta style. Our entree of beef prosciutto with goat cheese sprinkled with walnuts and olives was divine. Garlic bread is served lightly toasted with a dash of spices. The delicious ravioli pasta was coloured made using fresh vegetables, cooked al dente. The steaks were on another level, succulent, high-quality and cooked to perfection. Our meal ended with a nice surprise from our lovely waiter, it was the perfect way to finish the most fabulous long lazy lunch. Casa Nova would be stunning for an evening dinner and for those special date nights with someone special.

Best food we’ve had in Serbia, and we’ve eaten at Michele ⭐️ restaurants. Really enjoyed the food, wine recommendation, dessert, service and shot of homemade brandy afterwards. Pet friendly and organized. Staff were attentive and the food was amazing! I only tried their Carbonara and I enjoyed it very much. The food my friends ordered looked really good as well and they said they loved it.

I highly recommend this restaurant! In my opinion it’s the best restaurant in Belgrade which I attended. Nice atmosphere, really tasty food, good choice, good service. I also liked the interior. I see no disadvantages, it’s perfect!

We went to this place for the truffles. The pasta had a strong smell of truffles, but almost no flavor of them. The risotto was all the way around. I recommend this place for the pleasant atmosphere and welcoming staff.

We think that every restaurant in Belgrade is the best but this one here is definetly special. We enjoyed eating pasta here, the service was fast and the waiter was thoughtful.

We had very high expectations from this place, given the reviews. We know that going to an "Italian cuisine" place abroad is risky, but we took it anyway. The risotto was disappointing. It was served very quickly, which is already a red flag that shows it was pre-made. It lacked creaminess, and generally the tast was just not right. The chicken with cheese was quite tasty. Dessert was ok, the chocolate mousse was great, the tiramisu was good. Price was towards the high side for the type of restaurant (two main courses, two desserts, a bottle of wine - one of their cheapest - and a bottle of water, around 7200 dinars), but the quality of the food was not up to it. Service was very good, and the place is quite nice and elegant.
