The park is huge and really beautiful. You can have a picnic there. Take a book and read. Walk around. It is an amazing place to take pictures. There is a playground for the kids as well as kayaking and paddle boats for the whole family to enjoy. You can also just sit on the grass or sit on any of their many benches and tables.

Great park with ample access to public transport network. The park is an ideal way to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy city and be within nature. Plenty of activity for those looking to do sports related activity. Pedestrians beware if you’re walking in the running tracks as they’re very popular. Great place to watch local wildlife too, especially fascinating to watch the monitor lizards go about their business.

A fantastic park right in the heart of the metropolis! It's incredibly spacious and well-maintained. There's a large pond, and there's hardly any litter, at least inside the park. The scenery is simply breathtaking. You're surrounded by trees and ponds, while the metropolis buzzes around you. This park is more for relaxation and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are no noisy amusements or shows here. And the most important thing, there are a lot of monitor lizards 🦎; they're practically everywhere and not at all afraid of people. You must visit this place!

Lumpini Park, the “Central Park” of Bangkok. Well maintained and Beautiful landscape. Lots of activities and best place to exercise. Bring water or buy at kiosk as all water fountains were removed due to Covid. Join the free mass aerobics at 5-6pm. Lots of fun. For those who come here for exercise, you could change at toilets, leave your belongings at the toilet guard with only 5 Baht. The toilets have showers as well… very convenient!

Here is a large and quiet green space in the middle of the bustle of Bangkok. The lake and the green and secluded space here are wonderful. I even saw martial arts exercising in a corner. This one is my favorite park in Bangkok. It has a lot to offer. Many tourists can be found here exploring and jogging in the morning. A lot of locals come here to do exercise and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the wonderful environment. Fun Fact: Don't run away when you see water monitor swimming in the water that you might think it as a crocodile! It can happen,trust me🤣

Famous place for runner. There a lot of people running in the morning and evening. Many cat a long the park, some are cute. There are kayak and paddle boat for free. You must try!Crow are a bit violent sometime. They dove pass my head really fast and loud. The evening view on the lake when you can kayaking is beautiful, you can go with your partner to spend romantic day together. There several big lizards in the park too.

I adore the house, garden and various artworks around the museum. The guide tour itself feels clearly geared towards the white tourists. I guess it’s a general feel-good story about a Caucasian business man went to Asian, got fascinated by the culture, loved by the natives, and most of all, saw a great business opportunity. The tour did show how Jim and his partners embraced Thai traditions and how he was undeniably a crucial factor in the flourish of the nation’s silk industry, but the narration feels a bit monotone as it doesn’t take the Thai people into the picture and more about how tasteful Jim is. Besides, in each room there are screens that show art performance of another contemporary artist, which I feel kinda out of nowhere and don’t really fit the atmosphere.

They offer tours about 45 minutes length in different languages. You’ll learn about the history of Jim Thompson and his learnings and contributions to Thai culture, including the construction of his house, his promotion of Thai silk as a prized material for global fashion, and his mysterious disappearance. Along the way you’ll also learn about traditional Thai architecture and home living culture. There is a small cafe and a restaurant on the grounds as well. Well worth a stop when visiting Bangkok

After all the hectic travel around Bangkok, arriving at Jim Thompson house was such a immense pleasure for some authentic Thai vibe art and respect for the culture. After the tour with the guide, you are free to visit the garden on your own and finish either at the restaurant or the shop. I spent 1hour in the shop and ending up with plenty of high quality silk scarfs and gifts for my family. The designs are super modern if you want something a bit out of the ordinary and also very traditional. For every taste! The lady seller was also very nice! Have a visit there ;)

Interesting house museum that belonged to an American Silk businessman. The tour through the house explains both the art pieces as well as interesting information of Jim Thomson and the house itself. Don't miss the garden, it's as beautiful as the house and excellently maintained. I also tried the restaurant and found it good, even though it is a bit price compared to other places in Bangkok.

A lovely house museum in Bangkok with many interesting historical artifacts including porcelain, furniture and many Buddhas. We took a very good guided tour in English. The gardens are also lush and lovely.

Pretty cool experience. It’s a beautiful and old wooden house with interesting and eccentric additions. Jim Thompson was an American silk tycoon who fell in love with Thailand and made it his permanent home. He disappeared without explanation in Myanmar in the 1960s. He has some wonderful and quite amazing artifacts in the house, including a sculpture from the 7th century. The tour is only 200 baht and it’s fairly informative. The garden is a highlight—it’s breathtakingly beautiful. Overall, this is a good experience, but it’s not incredible. The tour is a bit short, the house is a bit small, and there’s not too much additional “woo” for your buck.

I loved seeing the old wooden homes and hearing Jim Thompson's story. The small garden was so peaceful. The silks were exquisite. We had to wait 15 minutes for an English tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable. It's easy to get to from the sky train.

I visited this place and noticed that it attracts more tourists than locals, despite the fascinating story of the house and the fame of Thai silk-making. Inside are different sections, including a guided tour of the place in foreign languages (English, Chinese, and Japanese), a cafe, a brand shop, and a renovated restaurant. The admission fee is only 200 baht, and the tour lasts 45 minutes. The atmosphere at Jim's in Thompson felt shady as if it's not in Bangkok. The food and drinks at the cafe were alright, but I found the prices a bit high for the portion sizes. On a positive note, there's a rotating exhibition on the second floor of the brand store, and it's free to view.

It's beautiful. The entry ticket is 500 baht. It includes the cost for 3 things. 1 of these things is at another location. The ticket is valid for 1 day for the grand palace and as far as I can remember, for 7 days for the other 2 things. It's better to keep 2 days to complete the grand palace visit. Unfortunately I went there on the last day of my tour and was able to see just the grand palace. The textile museum is also nice.

The place is full of the temples and the King palace with well decorated with varieties flower trees. For locals it is free but chargeable for the foreigners. Also to mention do not wear short dresses if you wish to go inside the compound. We recommend to visit this place if you are in Bangkok trip.

Always nice for a wander when you are in Bangkok. The buildings are stunning. Very quiet at the moment so taking decent pictures is relatively easy. Bought tickets online which was easy although still had to line up in the same place at the entrance.

Great place to visit. A lot of cultural significance, past residence of past kings. It has a lot of history for Thailand. Worth a visit but foreigners have to pay to enter. The most important emerald/jade Buddha is placed in one of the temples, and the architecture was great. No shoes entering the temple, have to wear long pants and no sleeveless.

Due to the pandemic there were hardly any visitors here and so there was time and space to enjoy it fully. Beware of scams and sellers around the place. Just ignore whatever they tell you. Remember to dress properly or you will have to buy some ridiculous body coverings. The palace is amazing and a must see place. Good to get a guide book to appreciate it fully. It is huge place and very calming when we entered the temple. The entry fees is applicable. I don't remember the price right now. Take an umbrella with you when its sunny . It will help to walk around the huge area in the premises. Water is available inside temple on payment. Side note 😇: My friend said If we wish there for something it would get complete one day for sure so I stayed and wished. She is very precious to me 🫰

All the temples here are beautifully maintained. You should bring sunnies and umbrella also a lot of patience as the place has a lot of people visiting everyday and the temperature is so hot and humid. Recommended if it’s your first time in Thailand like me. I visited their Emerald Budhha and their king’s residence.

The temple is beautiful, but not large in area. The entrance ticket costs 500 baht. But we were lucky that the ticket price also included a trip to the theater and an entrance ticket to the art museum. When in Bangkok you should definitely visit it.

China town is a really nice place to walk and buy a lot of cool things. It located in very nice area even the shop bid old but you can see that it well kept . It is not too crowded when I went their which was during weekdays. I recommend have two or 3 hours to walk and Experience culture, food , and meet amazing people.

I was in Chinatown, Bangkok during the Chinese New Year celebration.. the entire street was lit up bright... And so many street food options.. it was also very crowded but everyone was in a happy mood, taking pictures, eating street food.. you can reach there by the metro, fairly simple. Spend the evening eating local cuisine.. it's a paradise for non-veg eaters...

A great day out in the Chinatown area. We were fortunate to be there for the vegetarian food festival and Chinese national day. It was great to see the dragons out on the streets. We also enjoyed the Wats shrines and street foods as we wondered through this historic district of Bangkok.

This is one the most amazing neighborhood in Bangkok you can’t miss it. Actually is more than one, it depends on the hour you decide to visit. China Town on daylight is different than in the night where lots of street foods “restaurants” open to attract local and foreign customers.

Even as local, I still can't get enough of this temple. It's elegant craft and detail worked that's go into building this temple is absolutely astounding. It can get very how during the day (especially during the Summer) best time to visit is very early in the morning when the temple just open. It's also good to try to avoid the crowds. Make sure to take the time to enjoy the wall painting along the temple.

The inside of this temple is as impressive as the outside. You can visit as part of the Grand Palace entry. You can only take photos of the outside of the temple, but it's well worth taking the time to sit down inside and drink in the details. The free brochure they give you at the ticket entrance has a good quick read on the history of the Emerald Buddha.

Located on a hill with a beautiful location, you can overlook the coastal city of Pattaya. The temple was built with unique architecture and is very typical of Thai culture. Very beautiful and dignified. The tour guide shared about the culture and spiritual beliefs here. The pagoda stands out with a majestic large golden Buddha image. 2 dragons spit out a 7-headed snake. A spiritual place you should visit once!So beautiful!..

Not to be missed when visiting Bangkok. The ticket includes entry to this temple and the Grand Palace (actually this temple is part of the Grand Palace). It includes also a traditional dance show at a nearby theater. It is worth watching it and there are free shuttles just outside the temple. Following Lonely Planet's advice I looked for a guide inside. There were no guides, except for a free tour run by the administration that I believe runs 4 times a day (10, 10:30, and another 2 in the afternoon). Unfortunately, I had hard time understanding the guide (the mask certainly didn't help), so I quit the free tour and followed the free brochure (they have them in several languages) and I was just fine going with that. Most of the people were with guides hired outside the temple and they seemed to do well. It gets quite warm during the day, so my advice is to be there early. There is a lot to see, plan for at least 3-4 hours (combined with the Grand Palace). One more thing, you can't take photos or videos inside the temple.

Was very crowded inside the temple. Would be a good idea to limit the amount of people inside at a time to allow a more enjoyable experience. Prayer can be difficult with everyone trampling around taking selfies and such, not to mention how loud it can be. 5 stars for Buddha, 2 stars for organization.

We were lucky enough to go to the grand palace and the temple of the Emerald Buddha, while Thailand is still empty due to covid restrictions and a slow restart tourism. It was absolutely incredible. There were probably less than 100 people on the entire premises during our visit. It is spectacular and well worth the visit even if the crowds were much denser. If you take the boat, finding entrances somewhat tricky so do your research.

Seafood lunch buffet was good, the steak was soft and tender. No complaints here about the food. Only concern was that we booked for 2 people at 1300 baht each with Eatigo (10% off) and the bill came out to be 5564 baht. The waiter explained that this was because of the 10% service charge and 7% VAT (total of 884 baht) but no matter how we calculated, together with Eatigo’s discount, it just didn’t add up to 5564 😅.

Great variety of food in the buffet line. The food is good but my sister got food poisoning on the night after eating there. Service is very good. Tend to be really busy during lunch time.

One of the best buffets I've been to. They have a wide variety of good quality dishes for you to choose from. My favourite was the seafood on ice. It had king crabs, blue crabs, prawns and scallops. It was my first ever time trying king crabs so the experience made it all the more exciting. The cold cut platter was my second favourite as I'm a lover of cheese and salami. I got to try different combinations and they all tasted delightful. They also have a sushi corner where you can ask the sushi chef to help you slice whichever Sashimi you want. My go to choice was the salmon belly and it did not disappoint. I also enjoyed their meat section that included lamp chop, crispy pork belly, and an assortment of A4 beef cuts. The environment was clean and welcoming. The service here was also great, unlike any that I've had at other buffets. The staff cleared the plates in a timely manner and were helpful whenever I needed to refill a drink or to ask for a replacement for my utensils. I'd say this is a place that I would definitely visit again as I did not have enough time to enjoy all the food there since there's just so many options to choose from. All in all a very delightful and delicious experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking to have a good quality buffet with a huge variety.

Located in the marriot marquis they have an amazing buffet. A large selection with a lot of seafood options. The seafood was very fresh. A lot of cooked food options and a lot of live cooking options. Food was all good. Dessert was also very good. Service was very. The sashimi was also good and fresh. The beef soup and steak was really good. They have an off peak 50% off if you go at 9 PM. Good value for money at 1500 baht per head after discount.

Came here for lunch with colleagues. The boss has Marriott club discount member, so our buffet lunch deal came down to thb700++ per person. There's a great session of international cuisine available. Ranging from Thai food, Italian, BBQ session, Indian, Chinese, Japanese and much more. Personally my favorite savory session is the seafood session. The dessert sessions is also fantastic, a mix of Thai dessert and western dessert that comes in a small bite. To wash down the dessert, there's free flow coffee and tea. The staffs are great. Whenever I'm off to look around, the staffs will take this opportunity to fill my drinks.

So called best buffet breakfast in Bangkok City. So many varieties of fresh foods with best ingredients to choose from and they are cooking in front of you. Very impressive and good dining experiences. They do serve buffet lunch and dinner as well.

My family had come to visit me in Bangkok and I had seen this place mentioned on an Instagram post so I made a reservation. The Buffet had amazing choices and variety (would have liked to have seen more chicken options) but its def a seafood lover haven. Freshly made food on the spot and served. Had an amazing time. Was a bit pricey so this can only be like an special occasion outting but was def worth it.

Very gorgeous international lunch buffet with responsible price. Many kind of international food here such as Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican or Thai. Fresh seafood and sashimi lines. Especially desserts were very attractive and delicious. Staffs were nice and take care us every moments.

The quality of ingredients here is top-notch. The beef was tender and juicy. There were a great variety of sauces, and they all went well with their respective targeted partners. My favorite was the wagyu tenderloin. Don’t let the chunky pieces fool you because each bite was super tender. Our teppanyaki chef was also very personable. Fun experience for groups of friends or family. A little on the pricier side but great overall. Would recommend!

Oh wow! Slight expensive but highly recommended! I went there for birthday dinner with my girlfriend. The ambiance was really nice from the start, the place looked very good and there is enough space to sit and feel alone even though there is more people there. We ordered Asparagus, Foie Gras fried rice, 2 steaks and desserts. The Chef was very informative, funny and did some shows that was really nice. Food quality is excellent. Cooking skills also amazing. In general whole staff were really nice and accommodating. Wonderful experience. Definitely go check this place .

Came to Nami for a business lunch and we were there before it was opened. The decor and the layout of the restaurant is spacious and make you feel relax and welcoming. The services and food were top notch of course. Seafood was fresh, beef was premium grade. The only complaint I have is the soup is cold, not even warm.

Good view and atmosphere on the rooftop. You need a reservation because it’s quite popular up here. Check the weather forecast before you take a reservation. If it’s rain at time of your reserve, the staff can’t arrange any table for you even on the lower floor. They will tell you that all of the table at the lower floor have full reservation as well. I think the event like this can be better manage by the restaurant.

Located at the rooftop or Marriott Hotel in Thonglor. The bar is located on level 49 with the restaurant and some tables available on the lower floors just below the rooftop. Recommended to make a table reservation as it can get very busy. Drink are priced on the slightly higher side but happy hours available. Great views and the music vibes start picking up from 9.30pm onwards. Worth a visit if you're planning to be around that area.

Excellent Rooftop Bar comprising of three floors with the top one really takes your breath away. With great atmosphere, fantastic views good food and tasty cocktails together with very friendly and service minded staff - this is definitely one of the best venues of this kind in Bangkok.

Beautiful rooftop, Service was lovely. Food was yummy and good Thai tastes. Pork ribs still not well cook, I think it’s need precooked. Only one thing i would love to suggest is the cocktail is too much ice and still lack of white eggs on top. With the rooftop 5 stars I expect to have well trained for expensive cocktails and worth the price. Also the rooftop upstairs should have smoking areas separately would be better than allow people smoking right in the middle of the bar.

The cocktails were nice, however I found was very little alcohol in them and asked to make one a bit more serious, I wish I hadn't ask that , the cocktail with the double shot cost me 800 baht😁 . Incredible rooftop bar in central Bangkok. Great view from any floor, restaurant or bar. We had a variety of different foods, all very tasty..... Well, it's not cheap even for Bangkok but the location beats them all. You will need a reservation for the restaurant and the bar (2x different ones) else you might end up having no space on the 49th floor. Did I mention that you can smoke on the top floor, even cigars are no problem. We enjoyed the four hours there very much.

I wish the service was as great as the view! I made a reservation for 10:30pm on a Saturday and ended up waiting about 20-30 mins for my table. By that time, my drink was nearly finished (to be fair, it went down very smoothly 🙃) . The views of the city assuaged my disappointment quickly, though, and I'd still recommend it. Also, a note for anyone who is confused about the dress code like I was--I wore casual sandals because that's all I packed and it wasn't a problem. But judging by how long it took me to be seated, I might have been invisible.

We came up here for a cocktail and to watch the sunset. The views are beautiful over the Bangkok skyline! We got two cocktails, both weren’t very nice and one tasted a bit how a Thai massage smells, and were very expensive. But that’s expected with a rooftop bar really!

The service was absolutely marginal at best, it took a substantial amount of effort to get a food menu, and then the item that we wanted was not available. The drinks were good but there was nothing about the place that was amazing, and for 1300 baht for two drinks it seemed just a bit on the high side. There are probably better rooftop bars that you can find. If you do go don't sit on the roof, sit on the floor just below the roof. It's less crowded the views are better, and the service is like they less arrogant.

Warm evenings, sunsets, twinkling lights, drinks in your hand and great views over Bangkok, that never gets boring, does it? More sky bars in Bangkok that are too nice not to visit, so very beautiful!

There are so many choices for you to pick what kinds of food you would like to have. However, I think it is a bit too pricy for this buffet dinner during weekdays. I am not sure there will be more foods provided during weekends. Anyhow, I love the ambience and surroundings with their decorations. It looks chic, warm and cozy place to chit chat with friends and enjoy the dinner here.

Had high expectation of the Sunday brunch especially the Boston lobster and seafood on ice. Except the lobster, was disappointed with the quality. Beef was tough as it was over grilled. Foie gras was overly fried till hard. Oyster thou fresh was not cleaned properly as there were sands. Alaska crab legs were bland. The saving grace was the dessert selection. Very yummy thai desserts.

A wonderful buffet in a stylish setting. A great selection of food, especially fresh seafood and a mountain of delicious fresh Korean oysters. To go with my food, I chose the free flow beer buffet at 499 baht which presented excellent value & my glass was kept full all evening. The pan-seared foie gras was full of flavor and was my standout dish for the evening. A good range of western and Asian flavors should keep everyone happy. The dessert bar was amazing and included freshly made crepe Suzette and there was also an ice-cream stand. The staff were attentive & friendly. All in all a great dining experience, will be coming back!

I ate regularly here while a guest and can recommend the breakfast buffet and the a la carte menu for dinner (I didn't have the buffet). The former in particular was good, with a wide variety of breakfast cuisines from around the region, including noodles, bread, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, meat etc. There is also an egg station where eggs are freshly prepared to your order. The a la carte menu at dinner was fairly extensive. Although not a huge range, you'll find western staples such as burgers, fish and chips, steak, salads and lamb. Curried dishes and Thai/ Asian dishes are also on offer. There is also a wine menu. I recommend getting to the breakfast early if possible (it opens at 6) and likewise for dinner, as it always seemed quite busy (although this may depend on how busy the conference facilities are.) Staff were always helpful, and it wasn't difficult to get their attention or assistance.

A lot choice of food with good combinations with my free flow sparkling wine. Fresh seafood one of my favorite.

There's no denying it's a stylish space and extensive buffet but there's better uses of your money, certainly in Bangkok. Most of the seafood was under seasoned and bland. The staff was also pretty ice-y when I visited as a solo diner and did not pay much attention nor explain the setup. Had to flag down servers multiple times just to get a beer. I would definitely skip this place if you are visiting.

I was there for the seminar and got the coupon for lunch here, so I didn't know the price. The food here is ok, not the best but it is a buffet. The best things I would go for are the grilled pork and duck. It is quite good and the dessert. The food looks clean, the service is nice.

Overall is okay. Salmon is delicious but the beef tenderloin is not impressed. The chef is very talented. He tried his best to entertain us. There are also seafood on ice, sushi and sashimi. The price is 1500++ for Saturday brunch buffet. Personally, I will not go back for the buffet.

Entertainment during cooking. Chef has a humor sense and friendly Its good with kids and plenty of choices. We reserved via hungeyhub promotion. So we paid 1999 THB Net/person with selected entrée/meat/dessert/free flow mock-tail.

Very impressive Tepanyaki live show, very entertaining chef and very good beef with reasonable prices. Highly recommended if you’re seeking for family meal.

A fun Teppanyaki restaurant, is entertainment and not about food quality. Chefs are trained to be entertainer cum chef. 2.5stars for food, 3.5stars for service and 4.5 stars for entertainment. Good for kids and family gathering. $$$$

Had a great time at this place as always. Baby enjoyed the show from the friendly chef. We booked through eatigo (50%), yet the price is still high around 900 baht per person.

Wonderful and full of fun restaurant. Its great bringing children there. The service is great. They have buffet every Saturday lunch. The price is around 1766baht/person. For kid, its half price
