Wished this place had parking because come on $50 for Tickets and $30 for parking in some random lot. Make it make sense. Nevertheless, The visit was a nice one. My little one enjoyed her time and that’s all I could ask for. I will say they threw me for a loop when I learned I had to check in my stroller versus using it for her travel through the floors. But hey a little walking never killed anyone. They had a variety of animals fish, mammal and birds a like. Someone was constantly cleaning the facility so that was a nice to see. We went when they were about to close so there wasn’t a lot of people. Would we go again, yes!! Was it worth the visit, yes!! Worth the price, no!! But then again everything is high these days.

Friendly staff and plenty to see for kids and adults. They have dolphins and a rainforest area, as well as a huge shark exhibit. The kids had a great time. Plenty of places inside to grab snacks or drinks. I even saw beer for sale at one of them for the adults. The place is very clean and even though it was crowded when we went there were plenty of exhibits to keep people busy while waiting to trade places. The gift shop has great items. Overall, wonderful experience. Would do it again.

The national was a great place to visit. Fun for all ages. The exhibits were very interesting. Watching the dolphins train was fun as well. It only took about 4hrs to go through it all. I would recommend to anyone looking for something to do.

Such a beautiful experience to see life underwater. The best part is dolphin area and jellyfish section. It’s mesmerizing to see hundreds of different species under one roof. There are multiple levels of this aquarium, each with its own greatness. Love the entire experience. Best for kids! it’s great to see your little ones smile.

If you love going to zoos and aquariums don't pass on a visit to this one. Yes the tickets are a little steep but you will learn much and experience a ton. All the exhibits are very well put together. Kids and adults alike will enjoy every part of the facility. They don't do dolphin shows anymore but if you've ever watched one you'll know these mammals are incredibly intelligent and watching the training sessions is a great and educational experience. Be sure to pick the brains of the people who work here. They'll tell you interesting facts that will make your journey through the aquarium fun. Also be on the lookout for random employees to do feedings at the different exhibits. The food in the maim area is expensive but good.

However, while the National Aquarium is undeniably wonderful, there were a few factors that prevented me from giving it a perfect five-star rating. Firstly, the price of admission can be quite steep, particularly when visiting with the whole family. It would be more accessible to a wider audience with more reasonable ticket prices. Additionally, having visited a superior aquarium in a mall in South Korea, my expectations were high for the United States' national aquarium. Although it offered a pleasant experience, it fell slightly short of the level of grandeur and innovation that I had anticipated. Nevertheless, the National Aquarium is still an excellent destination to explore marine life and immerse oneself in the wonders of the deep sea. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or looking for a family-friendly activity, this attraction is definitely worth a visit.

I have to say I was unimpressed. I've been to a few aquariums including Atlanta and considering how talked up the National Aquarium is, I expected a great experience. To my surprise the best part was the birds, which are not what you would think would be a stand out feature at an aquarium. I'll start off by pointing out that most of the Aquarium is small tanks displaying various geographical aquatic wildlife with a few big tanks showcasing more variety. The giant walk through (vertical) shark tank is cool but fairly underwhelming in terms of variety. The dolphins are no longer doing shows and they are currently renovating their front tank (late 2023) which means you basically can't see them. The most enjoyable part was the walkthrough nature zones with birds although they are limited in what you actually see. A word of warning... the tanks can strain the eyes just due to the glass and the light refraction. And there are a fair amount of ramps and stairs due to the vertical nature of the aquarium. Also the virtual reality section costs additional money and is not remotely worth it. I'm happy to support wildlife conservation and hope my money is put to good use but between tickets, food, and parking we probably spent $200 and it felt like I was overcharged by at least $100.

The National Aquarium is great for all ages but if you have kids 1-5 years old definitely do the annual membership! It’s great in the winter when it’s cold but you need to get out and the heat of the summer too. This round was with teens who didn’t remember it well from early childhood and they still had a great time!

I love the National Aquarium. My wife and I visited and had a great experience. I have been many other times, but am still amazed at what you see here. The facility is modern, clean, and very accessible. And the animals and educational opportunity the provide is really over the top. I'm also glad they have made the decision to better care for dolphins versus using them as a show. My only negative is the price, but managing a facility like this is expensive so I understand.

Had a great time here. Thought it would be bigger due to other reviews, but still got top to bottom in a few hours. Always fun to watch. Food and souvenirs as always, way too expensive but we get them anyway. (Over 20 bucks for 2 pretzels and 3 cans of drinks.) Would definitely go back, because I like these types of things.

Big stadium . Next door to M & T stadium. Strict bag policy. Purse size is enforced. Frustrating locker system because you have to download app, set up account. No one at lockers to help. Kids area is nice with little ones offering a playground, bounce house. Plus Sunday kids can run bases after game. Lots of food options on 1st level. Parking isn't terrible if you get here early enough. Gates open 1 hour before game. Parking was open 2 hours prior to game start time. Be prepared for ridiculous food/drink prices. Sundays they offered kids 9 yrs old n under free entry through pre tickets purchase. These tickets are for specific seating and you have to use kids cheer free sign up for tickets on their website. All food, merchandise, parking are cashless and only takes credit cards/debit cards. May 2022- parking was $15.00 for the lot we parked in.

A stadium still bustling with the retro magic that greeted fans on arrival. Many of the design features - like the street shopping plaza and escalator views over kid play zones - still outdo many other contemporary parks. The food choices are solid and within the range of higher fast food fare, with treats for those who search. The seats pack a nice view of the action even from the top. The crowd is loyal and loud, but not rude or intimidating. Good mix of generations, but less kids than I expected. The place is really alive as the Orioles make their run. Now is the time to pay a visit. They’re a genuinely exciting team.

Gorgeous Stadium. Weather wasn't great but didn't stop this from being amazing. Flag court is a great view and place to hang out. Great view of the bullpen and get very close to it (see picture of visiting nick pivetta). Great place to be and lots of room to move around

Oriole Park at Camden Yards is truly one of the best ball parks in baseball. It still looks brand new. Its open, inviting, clean, easy to get around, even with full park it still does not feel congested. Parking is incredibly easy, cheap and safe. No issues walking to the parking lot at any time day or night. Staff is very nice at the concessions or at the seats. Just an amazing experience. The food is also one of the best features, Jimmy's seafood is fantastic!. We wondered around the park and all the seats are great, even the cheapest seats have perfect views of the field. Getting drinks is very easy and exiting the park and parking was so fast.. just an awesome park.

Awesome ballpark to visit for the atmosphere. Sound system sucks. The music that plays should make you feel pumped up but it doesn’t. Oh and we were told to get the bbq, don’t it was $20 for a cold sandwich that wasn’t good. Hot dog was good, pretzel was cold. Other than that a great experience and beautiful park.

Amazing time watching the O’s whoop up on the Mets! This was a sold out game. Lines can be long for food and bathrooms. Overall it was a fantastic time with lots of things to do for the kids. We were in section 3 row 19 seats 7-10. Perfect seats. Since it was a back row we were able to stand up next to the railing and weren’t cramped. Chicken tender baskets will run you about $13 for 3 tenders and fries. A soda ran about $8 and a beer and bottle water cost us just shy of $20.

Camden Yards is the ballpark that redefined ballparks for a reason. It is a gorgeous cathedral of baseball. The food is pretty good, the staff is courteous & friendly, and the prices are not outrageous (by stadium standards). Huge shout-out to Bert, the usher is section 210. That man knows how to create a fantastic fan experience

Really nice park. I have been to 5 or 6 ball parks and this was on the list to see since it was closer to me. I really had a good time here. I am a Boston fan and had no comments or actions taken to me. This is a great ball field and will return in the future.

Had a great time visiting! Everyone was friendly, food was good albeit a bit limited given the small attendance but it was a beautiful night for baseball! And the free tickets for kids 10 & under is a great deal! I've been to 26 ballparks now and this one is up there in terms of layout and experience! The one negative. Food and drink prices are definitely a bit ridiculous which is why I rated a 4. $5.50 for a 20oz Aquafina water, seriously?

This was my 8th MLB ballpark and I have to say that I was blown away by how amazing the venue was. Excellent food and drink choices. We went with Jimmy's, which was a little pricey but definitely tasty. Drinks were reasonably priced and the red brick makes this a classic stop for any park hopper. Fans were super nice and you can tell they loved the game as much as we did as Reds fans. Will definitely be back for the next series we play there in a couple years. Thanks for the good times, Baltimore! 🎆⚾

Camden Yards was the first baseball stadium to take MLB stadiums out of the Bowl era of the 60s, 70s, and early 80s. Many of the other stations are now modeled in part after this one. Located near Inner Harbor in Downtown Baltimore the stadium has a ton of charm! From the walk in by the old factory to great views of both the game and the city from the stands, Oriole Park is a great place to catch a game. When we were there the staff was friendly and accommodating and even the food was really good for Stadium food (I had a burger). If you are a baseball fan Oriole Park at Camden Yards should be on your list!

This was a great experience. We decided to go on a whim and are very glad we made the stop. The weather was super hot but it was worth it. There were reenactments and the displays were very informative and entertaining. The video at the main entrance is awesome. The displays are well thought of and there are several interactive areas. The cost is $15 per adult, with several discounts available (military, student, senior, etc.) This place is a must if you are like history. If you have kids, I think they would enjoy it more if they are 10 or older.

A living preserved artifact of the past, For McHenry is an awesome national monument! The Fort itself is befit by a nice visitor center and park like Path befit by plaques and small dedications to the surrounding area! The Fort section is just as great! From the outside and going in there are TONS of things to see, with personal highlights for me being the inner center were the buildings are and inner artillery around the walls! Everything is incredibly well preserved and looks just as they did during the days they were first put to use! The staff were great too, being incredibly friendly, talkative and interactive, case in point being when the flag was lowered by them and some tourists in the area! My only gripe is I wish I had gotten a better Souvenir but the pamphlet I got was really nice on its own! Other than that? The small admission fee without any paid parking is a small price to pay for visiting such a cool place! Highly recommended, go there if you're in the area! Pictures and videos are of the whole monument as a whole and the pamphlet I mentioned!

I wish I could give this 10 stars. The old fort is well preserved and the slice of history here is reflective of a major turning point in the American story. The presentation of the writing of our National Anthem is stirring, emotional and visually unforgettable. Walk the grounds, it's hilly and shade is at a premium, but the experience should not be missed, at all, if you've any interest in American History. My pride as an American is stoked to a flame here. Yours might be too.

How beautiful this National Park is. Spend the day outdoors. Bring a picnic lunch, chair, and a good book. Sit by the water and enjoy the views. It does cost to walk inside of the Fort and explore, but it does not cost to walk the beautiful trail in the surrounding area. This is mainly a self guided tour and all outdoors. Bring a hat and plenty of sunscreen if you're planning to visit during summer. In the fall/winter dress appropriately. Sweatshirt for the cooler Temps of fall since u are right on the water. Be sure to stop and watch the quick video about the battle and the Star -Spangled Banner. On your way out, don't forget the gift shop. There are some great gifts you can purchase. My favs are always the National Park patches and medallions for my walking stick. If you're a National Park Pass holder, it is free for two people. You can stamp your passport book at the front counter as you check in.

We went on a day and at a time where we were able to participate in the flag changing ceremony - taking down and rolling the huge star spangled banner in exchange for the raising of the US flag. Really neat experience. The ranger gave an inspiring speech before hand (though could've been shorter to the same effect). The fort is fun to explore & to look out over the bay at the ships. A short video tells the story of the national anthem.

I loved visiting this place! They have a nice introduction to what the Fort was used for inside and a short film to watch. On the outside there’s a beautiful view of the harbor with a nice path to walk around the Fort and see what it looks like! They have some activities throughout the day like a flag folding ceremony and it’s definitely a great place to have a picnic!

A beautiful fort with a lot of cool history! There’s a great intro video at the entrance of the park with lots of air conditioning. The city itself is also just beautiful looking. If I was a local, I would visit every day!

Very nice historical site that takes care to tell the stories of its significance across the early years of the country up through its use as a hospital during WW1. The gounds are well kept and open with easy to navigate walkways that take you into the heart of the fort. Once there you can go inside the buildings that are there and see what life was like in the fort previous times. There is an good display of an officer's mess explaining how they would gather to discuss and teach teach tactics to the junior officers. One building is set aside to the significance of the battle of Baltimore in the War of 1812. Outside you can walk the defense line amongst some the cannons and take in the great view of Baltimore's harbor.

The museum is excellent. It has a very unique and interesting collection of art. Moreover, it has a great small yard and rather friendly staff. It is not the cheapest museum, but I think it is worth it. I'm giving it 4 stars due to rather restrictive COVID-19 rules and mask mandate. I think it is unnecessary and is not aligned with the realities of 2022.

I shot a rainy day wedding here last weekend and was worried about being moved inside, away from the natural light and intrigue of the outdoor sculpture garden. The event coordinator made sure the ceremony was hosted in an large, indoor space amongst the contemporary art pieces. This made for a truly unique and eccentric wedding ceremony that was right up the couples' alley. Their 3rd floor event space in the Rouse building was idyllic for dancing and hosting a huge number of guests. I would definitely shoot here again!

Wonderful museum. I thought I would be in and out quickly, instead it enjoyed hours exploring the exhibits...and the gift shop. I was moved and inspired by the exhibits and the spaces. I did not buy a ticket in advance, instead I purchased it at the door for the following entry hour. I spent about 40 minutes in the gift shop (yes, it is that awesome). I was able to enter during a down entry period before the time of the ticket.

Super interesting art museum. Lots of city history involved as well. The gift shop is super cute too. Lots of variety: beautiful earrings, magnets, cards, crystals… much more and wide range of prices also making it affordable for everyone to take a momento from here. Came here for a conference but definitely enjoyed walking the museum in between sessions.

Wow, wow, wow! I am so glad I made the stop at this beautiful museum! There is so much amazing art to see, it is all thought provoking in the best way, and left with joy and hope in my heart. Be sure to stop by the gift shop on your way out; they have an incredible collection of unique gifts you won't want to miss.

Wonderful museum with so much to see! The gift shop is next level as well. Don’t miss the second building of the museum! The exhibits included a variety of genres, mediums, and subjects. In all honesty some of the pieces made me uncomfortable which is exactly what art should do sometimes. The museum has a good amount of brave pieces that are shown respectfully. The fart exhibit in the basement was the highlight of my day.

Lovely destination for tourists and citizens on Baltimore. There are many truly stunning art pieces here. Despite none of them being extremely famous, the sheer age and intricacy of some of the pieces is insanely cool. Fantastic museum, really really lovely place

It is impossible to not give this place five stars. The museum is free. You can just walk in, not pay a thing, and enjoy floors and floors of amazing art and artifacts. It is a place where you can go and spend the entire day. Bring a sketchbook. Practice drawing the pieces. Bring your camera, and practice close-up photography. Bring nothing, and just learn all of the different facts that are attached to each piece. It is one of my favorite places to go in Baltimore. They have also done a fantastic job of making sure that they are culturally relevant. They do not shy away from the racism and colonialism that may have brought some of the pieces to the museum. Whenever I recommend people visit Baltimore, this place is always the top of my list.

A beautiful museum with work from around the world and through the ages. Not much contemporary work. Gorgeous buildings with art that should thrill you. And free! I discover new stuff every visit.

Great museum! This was my first time here and I really loved it. Lots of great art and the main museum joined with the mansion were all stunning. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I’m looking forward to returning when they reopen the 19th century exhibit in a couple weeks.

Excellent museum with diverse collection of art from various centuries in a variety of mediums. Price was perfect at FREE and staff and docents were friendly and helpful. Currently showcasing a type of pottery from the United Kingdom with vivid colors courtesy of a lead based glaze that highlights the health impact of those who worked on the pieces.

Wonderful free museum although donations are appreciated. Went to the Asian and Islamic Art Exhibit and saw some beautiful pieces from places I may never be able to travel to such as Iran. Museum is not too big so you can take your time. It's in a nice neighborhood close to the Washington Memorial. Lovely place to spend an afternoon.

Beautiful place! Free entry - absolutely breathtaking artifacts. I was surprised but loved it all i feel as though its definitely a three hour trip through history. I did as much as I could in 1.5 hours. I will be back!

Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of art museums, but this one offers something for everyone! I really enjoyed strolling through all the different exhibits, which are arranged meticulously and purposefully. Do yourself a favor and stop by when you can! Oh, and here's one more major plus: admission is completely free!

To say this place was a hidden gem is an understatement. There were so many rare items you would've sworn you were at some world-renowned museum! Check it out if you just need to be surrounded by an atmosphere of baronial splendor or religious calm,The Walter's museum is a must see!

A bit on the pricier side, but if you get a sandwich and an appetizer you can get a very filling meal for $30. Fish sandwich was great- the breading stayed crunchy and the fish was very tender. I would have liked some more onion crisps in the lollipop pork. It came with 2 pieces, and it was pretty filling since they were quite large. Great interior design! Our server was amazing, and our food came out quick when we went at 7:45PM. We were seated within 5 minutes on a Tuesday evening.

I dunno if it was an off day or if they were short staffed, but I'm so disappointed with my experience. We had reservations and it still took almost 20 min to seat us. After that it was almost another FORTY FIVE minutes to get a server to take our drink order. I don't know if the front just didn't tell our server that they had seated new customers, but the restaurant wasn't busy enough to warrant the wait time. Our server was extremely sweet and apologetic, but that doesn't excuse the failure in management. We would have left if we had known the area a little better. For prime placement right next to the aquarium one would think they'd be on top of their game. The food was fine, pretty bland, warm not hot, which again was very disappointing since the reviews were so high. Shell pieces in the oyster as well, heads up. 1 or 2? Fine. Multiple? Hasty shucking, watch your teeth. Ngl, I'd be curious to try this place again to see if maybe my experience was a fluke, but also, I'm legitimately embarrassed that I brought clients in from out of town and this was their impression. It's a really bad look when an opposite table is seated *after* you, gets their food and leaves before you even get to order a main course.

This is a friendly, classic spot in the midst of the Baltimore Inner Harbor zone. We saw locals and tourists inside the brightly lit, clean seating areas (in addition to a well-peopled bar). Our corner booth was cozy, and the big menu had selections for everyone (although a bit limited for vegetarians). The drinks were fresh, and house-made cocktail wasn’t sweet or syrupy. You can go for high-end, pricey seafood items or not; having for the special chef’s made crab cakes, I can affirm they were handmade, well formed, and freshly cooked. Everything was savory and delicious, and our server was attentive and high-energy, as well as personable. We felt we got good value for the price point.

Great spot to check out. In the harbor and fun atmosphere. Wasn't a big wait for outside seat but we got immediate seating inside. I love a good high top! Got some house made bloodies which weren't very spicy but tasty. Great recommendations and honest feedback from our server Cheyenne. Very cool place 😎. Little pricey but expected for the quality and options. Parking garage close by on Market Place st but expect to pay $20 for an hr. Street parking was hard to find and scooped up way to quickly.

This location offers two different eating areas located right across from each other, and they each have their very own unique menu. Customers can choose to dine inside their main restaurant or outside near the water and with beautiful views! I have only been here twice, and both times I've eaten inside their main restaurant area, but I would love to experience their outside area one day! We went on a weekend, and it was definitely busy! We did have about a half-hour wait time to be seated. Once we were seated, though, we didn't have to wait long for service or for our orders to come out after we placed them, thankfully! I love the setup they have, the decor is pleasant and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great! Most of my table ended up taking left overs home with them. This is a seafood place, so the menu items are definitely a bit pricey, but if you're looking for a fancy meal while on vacation in MD like we were, I would definitely recommend giving Philips a chance! If I come back to eat here again, I think I will try out their second eating area outside.

Had a wonder time here thanks to our server Chrissy A and Ty who brought out food. Chrissy kept us laughing and was very attentive. Food was excellent, booths comfy, good ambiance, not too loud, tasteful decorations, clean bathrooms! The only thing I was sad about was I didn't save room for dessert since it looked delicious Thanks for a great experience!

Fun atmosphere in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor: Sit outside and look at the water or enjoy the nautical decor inside. I was traveling for work and had to try some seafood. The Maryland Vegetable Crab soup had great flavor and I only ordered it from the recommendation of my server. definitely recommend if you’ve already had cream of crab or clam chowder. For entrees, the shrimp and scallops were great. I do wish they had a bit more seasoning, or at minimum a little salt to bring out the flavor. No salt or pepper is provided at the table. However, the Broiled Seafood trio was excellent. The crab cake was perfect - tons of plenty crab, full of flavor, and so tasty. It was also served with broiled shrimp, salmon, mashed potatoes and asparagus. This was definitely my favorite. Give this location a try for a fun atmosphere and good food!

This place was really great. The best crab cake I have ever had (I am from Chicago Where a crab cake is not the specialty). I got the broiled seafood trio and their crab soup. The creamy crab soup was really delicious, very light, which is surprising because it’s so creamy. It didn’t have too much flavor. But I kind of enjoyed it like this. The broiled seafood trio was really good. Honestly, everything had so much flavor. The only reason to give it four stars instead of five, was honestly because everything was so greasy. I could barely eat 1/4 of my dish because it was so greasy for me. But!!! It was super delicious so I don’t wanna complain too much!! The staff was super friendly and drew an otter on my receipt. I would probably not come here again If the wait was as long as people have described in other comments.

I came here my last night in Baltimore for dinner since this restaurant has been around since 1914 and it has quite the reputation for fine dining. I was greeted very warmly by the hostess as soon as I walked in and my server Bethany was friendly and very attentive. I ordered the Shrimp Pot Stickers appetizer and the Shrimp and Scallop entree. Both items were pretty good, but the mashed potatoes that came with the entree could have used a little more salt in my opinion. I ordered the Bloody Mary cocktail and purchased the souvenir glass for an additional $4. The restaurant itself seems huge inside and they have a large outdoor dining area. It seems to be a very busy spot and I highly recommend making a reservation like I did, otherwise you might have a wait time of 45 minutes to an hour to get a table. Keshia S was a fabulous server on a beautiful night in gorgeous surroundings. It was our son's birthday and all 3 dinners came out perfect as ordered and delicious. Love Phillips. We don't get here often but it never disappoints!

One of the best meals in Baltimore I've had. A nice variety of all the classic seafood options. We got the scallops which were perfectly cooked and moist on the inside. The calamari and crab cakes were average, wished the crabcake was chunkier and had a better texture and that the calamari batter was a bit lighter and less over fried. The lobster salad and whole fish entree were great, flavorful and light in their own ways, balanced with a bit of acid. Lobster and clam rolls were also top, clam had same issue of being very fried to not taste much clam, the rolls were all perfectly buttered and roasted. Wished there were more veggies in the mix, especially for something called a salad, but we're still not complaining, everything was delicious and clean!

Our best family first meal in Baltimore… we loved all the dishes from crab salad to escargot. Reservation was easy and restaurants located at heart of the pier. Waiter was very attentive and service was great. Will come back to dine very soon .

If you are an Oyster aficionado then this is the place for you! A large variety of oysters and all types of fresh seafood. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend. We ordered the seafood tower, ceviche, calamari, grilled octopus, escargot and lobster rolls.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. When a Baltimore native friend told me this is the best restaurant in Baltimore, I had my doubts because it's located right in the middle of a tourist area. But this place delivers. All of the seafood was fresh and expertly prepared. The cook on the scallops was perfect. They also had a great selection of wine and cocktails. Service was immaculate and the atmosphere was lively without being loud. I really wish I could have gone here more than once during our brief trip to Baltimore.

First time visiting Thames Street Oyster House. Was a little intimidated first walking in when we didn't have a reservation. Luckily, there was a table available right before the lunch rush. Staff was very welcoming. Our server, Kaitlyn was very prompt and showed great knowledge of the menu and specials. Ordering from the raw bar was our best decision, getting to choose oysters from all different regions.

Excited to finally trying this restaurant! We ordered fried oysters and escargot as appetizers, and scallops and halibut as entrees. All in all, it was a memorable experience. The halibut was a bit overcooked and lacking the immersion of flavors inside the fish, hence the four stars.

Nice place... the food was excellent. Had oysters from the raw bar, seafood salad with side of swiss chard, Maryland crab soup with short rib, whole belly clam roll, chocolate cream pie and grapefruit cardamom creme brulee. Reservations are recommended as this place is small and gets packed. They do have outdoor seating as well.

Incredible meal and nice atmosphere. I can't believe I haven't been here before! I do recommend getting a reservation (we had an hour wait on a Monday night). The wait was worth it. We tried the calamari app (yum) and three different kinds of oysters from the raw bar. Loved tasting the variety of oysters-- they were delicious. My wife and I split the lobster roll and scallops and we were not disappointed- they were amazing! Finished the meal with bread pudding (also yummy). Another person in our party got the crab cake and enjoyed it. Go here for some great seafood!

In my Top 5 in Baltimore. Award-winning lobster roll, perfect scallops, a very good crab cake, everything is made in-house like ice cream, desserts and more. It's a Bmore classic for a reason. It's very hard to get into without planning ahead, but I rec going on a Saturday for a late lunch/afternoon snack, oysters, drinks. The bar stays open w limited food between lunch and dinner. Get oysters, absolutely!

It was my birthday so my son's toke me to Thames Oyster house. The food was tasty an the portions were a nice size. The oysters were really good as well. That bread pudding with vanilla ice cream in my picture.

I came to this beautiful restaurant for my birthday dinner this past week. The food and service here is impeccable. My server Karen (who was still in training) was an absolute delight. She was warm, friendly and attentive. Everything I ordered came out fast, fresh and very delicious. My main course of Chilean Sea Bass was so moist, tender and flavorful. The restaurant itself is very clean and elegant. I also got a nice view of the harbor as the sun went down. I will definitely come here again the next time I am in the Baltimore area.

This place is worth any kind of wait imaginable. I feel bad I don’t remember our servers name but he went above and beyond in service. His suggestions were top tier only matched by the food and amazing food. You have to get the octopus here. My favorite drink was the espresso martini and lemon drop. I can’t wait to come here again and enjoy the beautiful views, amazing service, and delicious food!!

Went on a business dinner. Everything was well coordinated. The manager was constantly making rounds and overseeing staff to ensure everyone enjoyed their food and had everything they needed. The food was good except for the crab cake, which felt like it was more shell than crab meat. Other than that, the food was very good. The staff was courteous. This is a great place for a date or if you want to go with the family.

The restaurant is a bit pricey, but it’s worth it. The service, view, and food were all very good. Our server Julie was very helpful and attentive throughout the meal. She explained different items in the item to us and took our orders very diligently. We ordered the small cold tower, the daily oysters, and a fillet mignon. The oysters were very fresh and tasted amazing. The cold tower had a variety of different seafood including crab, shrimp, and lobster tail which all were cooked wonderfully. The fillet mignon was delicious with the meat cooked perfectly. The view of the Inner Harbor from the restaurant is also very good, I would recommend coming here if you visit the area.

Great experience start to finish. We enjoyed our walk around inner harbor to get to the restaurant. Had reservations and were greated and seated immediately upon arrival. Had a great window seat with views of the harbor. Ordered the crab dip for an appetizer, amazing and could have been a meal on its own. The blackened shrimp and grits was incredible as was the stuff shrimp with crab. The wine suggested did not disappoint. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend.

The place is gorgeous with stunning views. It's got an old world feel and a lot of locals treat it as a landmark from what I gather. The seafood was fresh and delicious. The cream of crab soup was the star of the show. Do not hesitate to get this if you like crab. We also got fresh bread served to us that was warm when it got to us and scrumptious. Our server was attentive, personable and really knew her product. I was impressed. The Asian glaze on my wood grilled fish was so tasty. Overall, it's a wonderful experience. It's everything you want out of a seafood restaurant.

Capped off our visit to Baltimore with a stop at The Rusty Scupper for drinks and appetizers. Wow! Friendly, professional, and efficient staff. Food and cocktails were excellent. My husband managed several of these restaurants more than 40 years ago. It was a very pleasant stroll down memory lane.

Date night! Beautiful restaurant on the water. The food was cooked to perfection. It was delicious. We arrived 30 mins before our reservation and was seated right away. Loved our time in this space.

We went to Sunday brunch which was excellent. This says a lot because buffet food can be underwhelming. The waitstaff always aim to please and the bottomless drinks were not watered down. Bring a designated driver or taxi down! The view of the harbor is a plus.

The Rusty Scupper is right on the water in the Inner Harbor, Baltimore. You do need a reservation but we were able to get one for the same day, although not quite at the time we requested (15 minute difference). We asked for a water view table and were seated there. The view is beautiful, the restaurant itself pretty. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the house salad. You can (for additional price) add crab, shrimp or chicken to this. I asked for hot shrimp. When the salad came, no shrimp. The server apologized and brought it back for me . This was the only thing we didn't like - the shrimp was not seasoned at all and was icy cold, which wasn't what I ordered. There was an email promotion for a free crab cake appetizer, so we ordered that. It was one crab cake, crispy outside, tender inside with littler filler. So good. We split the bowl of Cream of Crab soup, which was a large portion. The soup itself was basically potato with crab on top, was okay. The entrees, however, were delicious. The crab stuffed shrimp with mashed potatoes and asparagus were large, flavorful and well seasoned. The portion is deceiving, much bigger than it seems. The crab dip was one of the best things we had while in Baltimore. Served with warm french bread slices, it was filled with large pieces of crab and was absolutely amazing. The single crab cake was $29, which we thought high, but the prices mostly did reflect the quality of the food, which was for the most part outstanding.

The atmosphere was great. the server did not give us the specials of the day, overheard it from another server, and she was not helpful with recommendations. The appetizer was awesome, and the Long Island Ice Tea was nice and strong. Entrée was not good, fried to death. I would still recommend restaurant.

Stopped here for happy hour on a Monday and the place was pretty quiet. The bar only has a handful of seats but there are plenty of high tops in the lounge area. The location on the water provides a great view. Highly recommend checking out the happy hour menu. Plenty of great drink and food options. The Rusty Scupper Pale Ale is great. The sangria was fine. Hope to be back to try some regular menu items.

Overall experience very fun brunch location, really enjoyed the outdoor dining. Food arrived hot and well cooked. If you want something different for breakfast then this is your place. I'm not a fan of all the mix and match breakfast items or the mixture of flavors but the food is over good. Drinks are delicious! Waiter Roy was really helpful and accommodating when I asked to return a dish I was not fond of, it was nothing wrong with the dish, just wasn't for me. He gave me options to make the dish better and was very polite.

I've been here so many times in the past but never wrote a review. Recently visited after a long hiatus and it was like finding a long lost friend. The banana chocolate pancakes were amazing. The shrimp and grits were superb. The monkey bread is an excellent group appetizer to share. I wouldn't recommend the shepherd's pie because it just doesn't have a very traditional feel.

Me and my wife ate here for the first time on Wednesday for my birthday. Our waiter was exceptional and gave out great feedback on the food we asked him about. We started with the hot honey fried chicken deviled eggs and monkey bread, both were delicious. My only complaint about the monkey bread is some of the bread was tough, overall I would give it a 9.5 out of 10. We also had the strawberry orange juice which was delicious as well. For our meal we both went with peach cobbler french toast, it was very delicious and fulfilling. As with the monkey bread my only complaint is some parts of the French toast was tough. We both enjoyed our experience and will return again in the future.

This was the second visit to Miss Shirley's. And the service and food still did not disappoint. I arrived during a pretty busy time of day, and the food still came out in a decent time. My only disappointment was the price for the kids' meal. I feel like $12.00 for a kid's meal is just unreasonable for the amount of food. Everything was normal kid sizes. 1 egg, 1/ 4 cup of fruit, and 2 small waffles. Nothing extraordinary. I truly believe they are getting over. Plus, the drink wasn't included $3.00 bucks for a small kids' plastic cup of juice, which is not refillable. That's outrageous! All the other food and prices were reasonable, but the kids' meals should be adjusted.

I got taken here for lunch while I was interviewing for a position in Baltimore. It’s a southern-style, homestyle cooking and it was incredible. I was excited to here the place was featured on “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” and I had to get an item from the show. I got the shrimp and grits and it was everything I could have hoped for. Some of the best grits I’ve ever had and they sat on top of a fried green tomato. I had a hard time deciding on food because the whole menu looked amazing.

Great breakfast! Service was awesome! Very friendly and attentive My wife and I started with the hot honey chicken deviled eggs. Very good. Sauce has a bit of a kick to it! I went with the fried chicken biscuits and gravy omelet. It was delicious. Highly recommend. My wife went with the monthly French toast special. Very delicious too. It's higher end, higher quality breakfast food, so you do pay slightly higher for it. But it's worth it.

The food was great quality and flavor. The burger is much different than the one in airport but still very tasty. Price was pretty good. Great waitstaff and servers. A bit crowded for my taste and the plates size perhaps should be smaller and white porcelain but all in all good eats and experience.

This place may have been better if we didn’t wait an hour and a half to be seated (not their fault that they’re popular). The mimosas were good and fried green tomatoes were bland but a good texture. The gravy train southern skillet would’ve been amazing if the chicken wasn’t cold and dry. All of the components, separately, were good but because there were so many chicken strips it was what stood out most about the dish. It had potential.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I went here this morning with my wife and sister. They had a short wait considering it was a Saturday. Jonathan greeted us with a warm smile and great service. We ordered the Fried Green Tomato Crab Benedict, Egg Salad and Oatmeal. Everything was delicious! I would highly recommend when you are in the Baltimore Metro area.

The wait was an hour on a Saturday afternoon for some blah, blah food. The 3 of us ordered shrimp n grits on fried green tomatoes, hash browns, bacon, pimento cheese biscuit, something was deviled eggs, stuffed french toast and I can't remember what else we ordered. Our server wasn't good with getting our food out together. I had to wait a good 15 minutes for my french toast to come out after my eggs, bacon & hash browns came out. I do know that I won't be back, the other 2 agreed they won't be back either due to the food was just not worth wait nor were the pineapple margarita that pretty much tasted like water down sangrias. I've been to the Annapolis location & that was a much better food experience. I gave it 2 stars because my bacon was actually good.

Tasty! More food than we needed. Service was great. They definitely want to get you in and out. We went Sunday, early morning. As we walked out the restaurant, the crowd was insane! I could only imagine how long people wait to eat here. Table for two was a walk in and no wait. Larger tables will definitely be a wait. Go early!

Might be busy, but it's worth the wait. The food is absolutely delicious. Lots of comfort items with unique twists, like a fried chicken and biscuit and gravy omelet. Perfect place for brunch with Bloody Mary's and Orange Crushes. Pricier than your typical diner style restaurant.

Fortunately I was able to order take out being that it was a bit packed, looking like a long wait as well. Their Fried Green tomatoes (featured in Southern Living magazine) were incredibly delicious. Their Maryland Crab Soup(Featured on the food network Diner Drive Ins & Dives T.V. show) was impeccably delicious as well. Their Strawberry Lemonade was also very refreshing, tart and tasty. I tried their Spring into Summer Salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, corn, feta etc and it was unique and filling. My kids enjoyed their strawberry pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes.Their staff were extremely tentative, hospitable and kind. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon! I like the location of the restaurant and a parking garage is situated across from it. I like the fact there is outdoor seating, outdoor and conditioned seating as well. The restaurant was very busy and crowded. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and offered her favorite and famous food items amongst customers which I wish I had ordered at that time. The food was ok, I was expecting tastier food to be served. I’ll go back to sample different food items.

This popular breakfast and brunch spot lives up to the hype - just ask the dozens of diners already at tables 20 minutes after opening on a Sunday. My eggs over crab benedict were simply delicious, with perfect texture and swell fried green tomatoes perking it up. The kids had fluffy, addictive pancakes (griddle cakes), one with so many chocolate chips I thought it was a birthday. There are plenty other southern-style regional twists to choose from, as well as variations on the build your own breakfast. Strong coffee, super friendly service, nice big seating areas. Arrive with your full party early and enjoy.

We had a late breakfast here. What an amazing place!!! If you don't mind the extra calories, have an extra pancake. The omelette was amazing, the hash browns were delicious (hybrid of typical one piece hash and home fries), and the pancakes were out of this world! I also liked that they had a freshly squeezed juice unlike other places.

I took a friend here for breakfast for her first visit to Baltimore. I ordered a coconut buttercream French toast, egg and potatoes and she ordered a vegetable omelet. The food was delicious with generous portion sizes. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. This restaurant in near many other attractions like the aquarium, the harbor and shopping area. I will definitely come again!

The food was outstanding. We went the early so the wait wasn't bad, I think we waited for 10 min. Definitely a pricey place but worth the money. Our waitress Karina was really nice. We had the Chicken and green cheddar waffles, The rice crispy cheesecake stuffed French toast and the kids had the kids box which was a lot and super delicious. Definitely recommend!

Was recommended by locals and had great reviews so I gave it a try! Although not into heavy meals, I had to go for one of their most popular breakfast dishes, coconut cream French toast! Wasn’t too impressed. Heavy on the cream and sugar for my taste. The challah bread barely grilled so it felt like having a bread smothered in cream! If you’re into very sweet heavy on the cream dishes, go for it but certainly wasn’t for me! Waitress was super friendly

Food was decent, I enjoyed my deviled eggs, and the skillet didn't need collard greens. Beyond that okay. I didn't get the waffles I ordered so that sucked. And the mango pineapple margaritas had too much fruit it kept getting suck in my straw. I will try them again, the food wasn't bad and I can try something else!

Thoroughly spectacular. I enjoyed a breakfast meal at this fabulous establishment while I was in town for a business trip and my god I have to say it’s probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had in my entire life. I got the Cuban and I had thought the BBQ might be too much but it was JUST what the sandwich needed! Bursting with flavor and gigantic portions. I took more than half of the sandwich with me to go. The strawberry lemonade is the perfect mix of both as well - not too sweet or tart! 100% will return to this lovely place if I’m ever back in town! Great service by Gerald, too!
