It's a great place to go for a walk, take good photos, have a dinner etc., It would be nice if there was restrooms available. There's a fleet of public bicycles but you can pay a tax to use it.

It's a nice place for a walk, but have simple or none structure, like public bathrooms that works for a very little time everyday. There's only one, next to the skating rink. The other is way too far, next to "Mundo Da Criança".

Outstanding service, great meat, great buffet. wine selection is very good. Cashaca choice was the best we've ever seen so far.

I agree with some other reviewers that the sushi wasn't great, but that was more than made up for by the meat that came round and the salad options. The variety of the meat and the quality was exceptional. We left uncomfortably full :) Also very good value for what we got. Would highly recommend.

Best restaurant in Aracaju directly on the beautiful beach of Atalaia. All you can eat buffet with a huge variety of meat choices directly served from the grill. The service provided by the managers and service staff is amazing. They know when your glass is about to be empty and whats more, they won't let you leave the restaurant being hungry. Honestly, this is one of the best restaurants I have been to in my whole life. In 2 weeks of being in Aracaju, we went there 7 times. I really miss Sal E Brasa!!!

The interval in between serving the meat is quite long.. Sometimes there's waiter serving at the table.The idea is a buffet rodízio service,but you won't get offered meat all the time as expected.

I don't generally gravitate towards chain restaurants but it was 8 PM on a Sunday night in Aracaju and, surprisingly, not many restaurants were still open. Camarada Camarão ("Comrade Crustacean"), located to the right of the main entrance to the Rio Mar Shopping mall has a wide selection of items, the majority of which are shrimp, hence it's name. A young waiter, circulating with a tray of flaky crusted pastels filled with a creamy shrimp mixture, offered me one and I accepted (food image 1). Be aware that this is not a complimentary amuse bouche. I was charged for it on my bill. For an appetizer, I ordered one of my favorites: two large bolinhos de bacalhau (food image 2). These were excellent and reminded me of the U.S. East Coast homemade codfish cakes we enjoyed many decades ago. Apparently, the portion size at Camarada Camarão is huge, so the waiter suggested that I order off a special individual diner menu he brought to my table. I ordered the camarões balsâmicos from that menu and the quantity of food on that plate was still enormous (food image 3). Granted, most of the items on my plate were veggies but, coming from California, the land of abundant produce, to Brazil, where your dinner plate may contain every starch ever conceived by man, I embraced the quantity and variety of vegetables. While some of the legumes were cooked al dente, my preference, others seemed a bit mushy and may have been originally frozen or else overcooked. While the shrimp were tasty, the accompanying sun-dried tomatoes were overly picante from the balsamic sauce. I ordered a traditional caipirinha. It was very good although the quantity was a bit parsimonious. Service by the wait staff at Camarada Camarão was attentive. Courses arrived at a proper pace. And I didn't have to wait forever to receive the bill.

Not as good as could be expected from recommendations.

A fast and attentive service. There is a very small outdoor seating area but this faces onto a main road. Given the name I had higher expectations of the shrimp. I ordered 3 different shrimps dishes and in every single one the shrimp was over cooked and had a rubbery dry texture. One of the sauces was too salty and almost indelible. There was also a high level of oil in the dishes making them very greasy and heavy. The local dessert was nice however. Overall I would not recommend this place.

Huge disappointment. Had the sea bass on a bed of grapes and white wine. Completely inedible. It’s like they cooked the fish separately, then added some wine and called it a day. That would actually make sense as a lot of the dishes were simply cut and paste jobs, with the protein swapped out. Shame , especially since they took an hour to make it. We also had the shrimp in coconut - too salty and overcooked. For both dishes the rice was inedible as well.

Food was terrible. Soggy pasta, the salmon risotto tasted like it was from a can, and the piano player put us to sleep. Atmosphere was okay, nice and clean. but the food sucked.

DO NOT GO HERE. They charge an arm and a leg for the worst meal Ive had in Brazil. The food was from the day before, the cachasa was disgusting. It may have been good before but it aint good now.

The waiters are very friendly and the food delicious. Decor is beautiful and traditional.

People talk a lot about this place but it’s really not all that. The food: some dishes are good, but they have only meaty dishes with no option for vegetarians or vegans. I went there to eat Isca De Peixe and it was not good enough. They were soggy not crispy. It’s a place you go once and tick it off your list to never go again. Ambitious prices for mediocre food.

Disappointed after seeing the hype for this place on Trip Advisor. There are far better restaurants in town. The staff on the street who are supposed to welcome you in would hardly look me in the eye, and as a foreigner I would really value that form of communication. The food was of a reasonable standard but not exceptional. The service was fairly lousy. Brought the wrong beer which wasn't due to language barrier as I pointed very clearly. No real apology and instead they reluctantly replaced it slowly. The music was of a local flavour with a constant chnage of musicians which was a nice touch, although it was marred by the repeated failure of the sound system, an issue which nobody seemed too concerned about. Also, bear in mind that a lot of menus here are geared towards people sharing. I had to work that out for myself after receiving an embarrasingly large meal on more than one occasion!

The food was excellent, huge and well prepared. Just be it known you have to pay the cost if you want to be the boss. I was paying for 2 meals, shrimp the biggest bowl of white rice I had ever seen. Also steak& fries. A Large amount (3&1/2doz.I counted and had already eaten a lot) of medium shrimp& large tender well-seasoned steak. I had 600 ml. Original beer for $155 R! I will eat more tonight and tomorrow. $40US! The Brazillian garrison had trying time giving me what I wanted, which was the price and I had a phone translator. The other waiter assisted, gave me what I asked for. Grilled steak/shrimp w/oil & garlic "fried" (didn't get-no problem) & fries! It was all done well. An enjoyable meal. Clean place and friendly staff.
