The landscape is amazing but unfortunately there are roaring long boats all the time that keep going back and forth emitting very nasty smocks 💨 The water usually is nice and clean, very shallow and calm. Very good for sunset 🌅 I don't advise to go swimming that much since long boat risk to run over you 🥲 ... also not good for snorkelling 🤿

One can witness long tail boats over here. It may be difficult to swim in this beach which is not surrounded by long tail boats Normally this is the place as the base for phi phi Island tours. Apart from that , one can see beautiful sunsets and fire shows held almost every day

The beach is nice. Although you do not have a lot of space to lie if it is high tide. The water is lovely and I love the waves. The beach is not soft sand but you still can walk with bare feet

Beautiful beach of Krabi nearer to the market and lots of hotels and resorts. The beach is long, very picturesque and one can spend a lot of time here with family. The waves are also good you can view lots of long tail boats around the place. Lots of people here on weekends and also during evening there is a fire show done by locals which was good to watch. Beautiful beach where you can take amazing pictures.

Too shallow for swimming but view is nice.

A nice beach to sit and enjoy the evening. The beach is long and clean. It's sandy beach. The sea is beautiful here. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The sunset is very beautiful on this beach. This beach is not as heavily commercialized as some of the other beaches. Hence, a good place to spend a quiet evening!

Nice, little bit more of a tourist location. for those who want a quiet secluded beach, as you can probably tell, Ao Nang is not the way to go. For a day trip though, great please to travel.

Ao Nang is simply stunning and it was even more so when we visited just around Christmas 2021. Hardly had any visitors/tourists and we pretty much had the entire beach to ourselves. You can go to nearby beaches from here (Railay, Phra Nang etc) the sunsets at Ao Nang beach are one of the best we have witnessed. Usually the beaches near to major towns are dirty but not this one. This one is very long beach with multiple entry points along the road. The extreme left part is the most beautiful. I enjoyed visiting specially late in the night and sit near the beach on the bench with a drink.

Its quite long beach and the main point for watching the sunset, walk, sit and relax, etc. It’s also where all taxi boats run from, so I don’t find the beach and the water clean enough. But the rock formations and the view to the other islands is beautiful.

To reach Viewpoint 3 you have to climb viewpoints 1 and 2.. which is doable and not that intensive. maybe the stairs are hard for some and steep in places. The last leg is up the mountain thru the forrest and quite enjoyable. Reaching the top you get welcomed by a magnificent view of the whole island and beyond. A monkey lives here!

We started our walk at the village, the road to the 3 viewpoints was easy to find, you must be in a good shape to end it to the bay. The viewpoints are absolutely worth the exercise, at every of the 3 points the scenery is tremendous, especially number 3 is top

Great views over Phi Phi! From viewpoint 2 to 3 its a bit of a trek through the jungle, I did it in flip flops but would have preffered trainers. No one was there at point 3 apart from a few monkeys in the tree that left me alone. Felt like you were in the top of the trees.

The view is superb from here, you can see the whole island and the viewing platform can fit a bunch of people. The main disadvantage is the way up there. It is a steep climb, but the main issue is that it is littered all the way up, which takes a lot away from the beauty of the island. You have to pay 20 THB to enter but I was there really early in the morning so no one was there to pay it to.

It took us a while to go all the way up but i cant express how beautiful it was. It was worth it. The entry fee is 30 Thai Baht per person.

Wonderful place to see the island from the top. It was my second time in Phi Phi and I couldn't leave not seeing this place from the top again. (you can never get bored seeing a great view like that!) The only point that drops down a bit is the access information... There is faster and easier access to stars straight to the top having a break in viewpoint 2, which is also astonishing, making the whole experience more enjoyable. Otherwise, you would have to prepare yourself for a long walk on a huge hill around the island to get to your final destination. In any situation, anybody wouldn't have a word to say after facing the amazing view on top of the mountain.

WOW, what a WALK! We only wanted to go to view point 1, but ended up at view point 3! Signage wasn't fantastic for view point 1, we followed our map, but went in head first first the best view I suppose! Two young teens in tow, didn't complain, considering it was sweltering hot, manage to WALK the 1 hr up the hillside over many terrains! The view was pretty Amazing at the top though! 45 mins to get down, cooled off with a beer and kids dipped in the bay water!

Great view (if it is opened). Can be tricky to find the path to get there (go to the shed at the bottom of Viewpoint 2 and turn left). There is a viewing platform, but it’s usually locked up.

Wonderful and beautiful island. But same as we were, you have to set your expectations right when you are a tourist. You will most likely be there with lots of other tourists and their guides and speedboats. Nevertheless is this place an absolute dream of a tropical island. Restrooms are available, pretty disgusting though.

Booked my tour with Simba Sea Trips and the experience was simply magical. From Maya Bay to Bamboo Island, little people in sight with the sea view all to ourselves. We had a group tour and this was one of the last attractions. The water is so warm, but the sand was not as I imagined. It was coral sand, which is not so tiny and pleasant as white sand, but still, I recommend you to visit this place. We also shot the video that showed what else you can find on this island, and if you in general interested to see the main attractions in Phi Phi but still doubting or choosing where to go first, then type the title on YouTube: "You better learn THIS before going to Phi Phi Island Tour" We made a detailed guide with maps and locations for snorkeling, describing where are the main attractions, which boat is better to choose and which places don't wort your time.

Beautiful island, we visited this Island as part of a full day tour. The water is clear with beautiful colours. Not many areas with shade.Great for swimming and photos.

Stopped here as part of a three island tour and it was well worth the visit. We had the island to ourselves for the better part of an hour. The water was amazing, clear and warm, and beyond enjoyable. Definitely use the snorkel gear that’s offered as part of the tour or bring your own. It’s an amazing experience that won’t disappoint!

This island is very clean and has crystal clear water. The islands is big but uninhabited. There are no shops here. So you can relax and swim peacefully here. It is one of the cleanest island in this area and you can see the fishes in the sea very clearly. Do visit this island of you want to talk for a few hours or just watch the clear water!

Lovely beaches, quite a bit of shaded area which is unlike other beaches. 400 baht national park fee per person but don’t mind paying it when it looks like this.

Beautiful island, first stop on our 7 Islands tour. If you go with a long tail, remember you will get given food on the boat, we needed up having a double lunch 😅 some other tours had lunch on the island. So pretty, pristine island.

Very beautiful beach. Warm clear waters. The colour of this water has to be seen to be believed. Shell and coral covered beach so footwear is advised. I avoided the hawkers with monkeys.

Beautiful beach but beware of the monkeys! They will try to get into your bag & try to attack you. When they realize you have no food, they will leave your bag alone. If they run at you, go into the water. The guys on the beach helped to keep them away after they ran at me They are cute but not scared of people. Anyway, great spot to kayak to

This beach has monkeys, which you definitely should not feed or approach. There are some great shots to be had. Our visit was brief but then there wasn't really enough to see or do.

A small gathering of monkeys showed up shortly after we arrived by kayak. Having read the reviews, I made sure to secure my belongings inside the kayak. Well, everything except my unopened bottom of water. The alpha monkey decided he wanted the water, and I let him have it. Watching some of the other tourist, I can see why some people get bitten. We have them their space and had no problems with them showing aggression. It’s a nice shaded little beach with some limited snorkeling a short distance off the beach.

Food here was really good. Their signature cocktail Tom Yum Martini was just amazing. Chicken satay was good, papaya salad was real spicy and delicious. Mixed greens with prawn dip fresh and good, banana fritters okay. Only the prawn pad Thai we didn’t enjoy as much but as we found it to be a little sweet for our liking. Staff was wonderful, even the owner was very polite, he came and spoke to us. Overall a good experience.

everything was so good, price was also really reasonable. the waiter was so so nice, even though we got to the restaurant 20 mins earlier than opening hour, he still let us in and allow us to order. we have fried fish with mango salad, grilled prawn, chicken satay, tom yum goong, stir fried minced chicken with basil leave. Everything is absolutely delicious.

Very hidden in the back of an alley but the food is amazing with a really great price. Everyone was super nice and courteous! They even prepared the mosquito spray at each table, so thoughtful! Highly recommended!

GREAT SERVICE AND FANTASTIC STAFF!!! They are so fun and nice!! Nice outdoor setting and good prices. Staff is accommodating with drinks and spice level, ie they can make drinks without alcohol and adjust spice level to your taste! They also offer a shuttle bus to and from the restaurant and that is one of the best service Ive experienced! Mango and sticky rice was also great and coconut sauce was very creamy

The food is good and the people are lovely. The portions however were really tiny and someone with a bigger appetite would have to order more in order to be satisfied. We stayed outside and although we used anti-mosquito spray and we had a lamp, the mosquitos bit us a lot. The location was interesting, you have to take a side road and walk up to its end. During daylight it was fine, but I wouldn’t take it after sunset. Worth a visit!

Simple the best. The most tasteful food you will ever try, in such a simple but welcoming place. Prices are also another highlight. For me the spice and sour shrimp soup was unforgettable. Very accessible to wheelchair. Employees will do there their best to understand and speak English but few of them will be able to get any detail you want to talk. For those cases they always bring someone that will be able to communicate well. If you ever go to An Nang try this restaurant. You won’t regret.

Really nice traditional Thai food. They were able to make their vegetarian dishes vegan The Tom Kha had so much flavour, pineapple fried rice was also great (make sure you ask without eggs and fish sauce and dairy..), we asked to have some tofu added and they brought a beautiful tofu fish with veggies. 4 dishes & 2 smoothies for 600bahts was great

This place deserves the high rating. We came here to try the pineapple fried rice, pad Thai, grilled prawn and steam fish, all 4 dishes are cooked to perfection with a nice balance of flavor. Not to forget to mention the reasonable price range too. They also provides shuttle van service to pick u to and from the restaurant.

One of the best thing about krabi, it's definitely Kodam kitchen. When to this place 3 times when we went to krabi last year. Their food is so yummy and fulfilling. Their food taste good and it has full of flavour. We especially love the fresh prawn. Missing the good food of kodam kitchen

Great place to go to when you're sick of Thai food. Can never go wrong with Indian food. Would have preferred the naan to be fluffier and less crispy, but it was still very nice! We had our favourites - butter chicken, cheese and garlic and butter naan, mango lassi, etc. Very satisfying lunch! Liked the fact that the staff weren't pushy in trying to sell us their 'specials'.

The food here was good but wasn't worth the price we paid for it, you can find superior Indian cuisine in other restaurants, staff tried to offer us additional menu items for an extra price that we didn't want. The naan bread was very flat and not much mutton in my mutton biryani. The thai pappaya salad wasnt edible. Final verdict: good Indian but not worth the money.

The restaurant is decent in terms of aesthetics, but one there was no Air conditioning, which is also not available in a lot of restaurants there at Ao Nang, Although few had Air conditioned restaurants. Ambience was good and so was the staff, but we didnt like the food that much. I mean it was okay, we had tried their Dosa and a Pizza and both were just average whereas some Indian restaurants there could do a better job. I am not saying it was very bad but they could do a little better. Rates were reasonable comparing others in the region, Food part could be improved as a lot of tourists may be eating Indian food for the first time so shouldn't be a bad experience for them.

Amongst the plethora of Indian restaurants in Ao Nang, this was appealing because the greeters weren’t pushy or sleazy with their advances to get us in. There was also a strong representation of other Indian diners which is a good sign of delicious food. The palak paneer and chana masala was creamy and dreamy. Perfect with the garlic naan. Just the exact amount of spice and heat. Service was excellent, with great recommendation and guidance.

I can say this is the No#1 restaurant in Krabi, I have tried the Indian food in Bangkok too but no comparison with Taj Palace Restaurant in AO Nang Krabi, The staff is very kind and sarve with love, food quality and quantity is excellent and value for money, Being vegitarian I was avoiding to go there but when I ask this to staff they bring me to their kichen and show me they have separate portion of cooking and even utensils are separate, Keep Shining guys see you again soon 🙏

Visited during my Songkran holidays in Thailand . This restaurant not far from the Aonang beach , If you are looking for a peaceful Indian dine then Taj Palace is the best choice for you , I tried the curry and Daal here tastes really good . This restaurant is huge good for parties , they provide catering service for private parties .Good service , nice staff and good Indian food in Aonang. They also serve Thai and Italian food . Menu also in Chinese and Thai languages . high recommended

Been coming to Carnivore steak & Grill for a few years and the quality never disappoints. Some of the best steaks I have tasted. Great staff , really good steak, perfectly cooked. Very clean. The owner makes it very personal and welcoming. Always a great evening , slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Order an Irish coffee made at your table you won’t be disappointed. Will be back.

Awesome menu and fantastic food. We were a labour intensive 5 adults 5 kids and taken care of perfectly. All the steaks were perfectly prepared and the team dealt with our timing requirements very well. Would highly recommend.

After 2 years of travel restrictions, we've finally made it back to the Carnivore and we've been glad to see that service, food, drinks and ambiente remained at the top in class standard. We've decided to share a Tomahawk steak (1.400 gramm) and what can I say; it was cooked to perfection. We have been dining here 5 times during hour stay in Ao Nang to try different starters, main dishes, wines and deserts and each time we were fully satisfied. Kudos to the entire Carnivore team - we will be back very soon.

Absolutely fantastic. Came for the 400g tenderloin (known as an eye fillet steak in Australia) and it was an incredible steak. Better than most steak I've had back in Australia. Wonderful potato side, salad and sauce too.. and the appetiser was a nice unexpected treat. Do yourself a favour and come eat the best steak in Thailand.

Beautiful scenery lovely staff and the manager / owner is a connoisseur. So helpful and friendly. Now the food is absolutely the best steak I’ve eaten in Asia. Wow. Perfectly cut and cooked. Taste level off the charts, peppercorn sauce and the homemade fries to die for. The service was excellent the quality was unbelievable. If you’re a meat lover this is where you need to be.

We had an absolutely stunning meal here tonight. I ordered the ribs which quite literally slid off the bone, my family enjoyed a sirloin steak (cooked to perfection) and the mixed meat platter (all of which was again perfect). Both the steak and the ribs were so good it was difficult to choose a stand out. Everything also came with appetisers, a salad, sauce and side, making it excellent value for money. Our best meal in Thailand so far - which says a lot as we’ve been eating well!

Food was alright, nothing spectacular to rave about but they had a free shuttle back to our hotel which was awesome. Highly recommend the grilled cuttlefish! Remember to bring a mosquito repellent as there were many bugs. Visit the place nearing sunset for a spectacular view

Indeed the view is beautiful from the top of the hill overlooking the bay of Ao Nang Beach. Unfortunately when my family has visited the restaurant the food was not as good as the location. No dish particularly pleased me rather the rice in the pineapple was dry and the vegetable burned. The prices on the other hand are quite high, too high for the quality of the food they served us, let's say we paid for the view...

The free shuttle bus pick up from the hotel is a clever idea so you can enjoy the drink without any worry. The staffs are very gentle, nice and attentive to detail. Food and drink are amazing in both presentation and taste. Atmosphere is stunning (we are sitting right at the top balcony with table facing the sea).

Amazing location overseeing the Ao Nang beach. The food was really good but some dishes a little expensive because they were fresh fish. The shrimp was the best shrimp I have ever eaten and the chicken was amazing also. Has parking. Staff really friendly.

Had a very enjoyable dinner. Salmon Saab, Corn soup with Crab, Coconut milk soup w/ pak mieng prawn, Stir Fried Prawn w/ chili and salt, Fried Rice w/ prawn Lovely, clean restaurant with beautiful decor. The view to the West is nice, but sunset was obstructed by the mountains. For unobstructed sunset views, you have to go a little further up the hill to the Hilltop restaurant.

We visited the restaurant during lunch time. It is beautifully located on top of a small hill overlooking the bay of Ao Nang Beach. The sea looks very beautiful from the restaurant. The staff was very polite and friendly. They gave us suggestions on dishes which might not be palatable to our tastes. The restaurant also provides you with a free tuk tuk ride to your hotel. That being said, the food while very appealing to look at was just okay in terms of taste. The prices are high when compared to the taste.

It was great that the restaurant offers free transport from our hotel. Also, it has beautiful view as it is on top of the hill. The seafood palate was fresh and their pineapple fried rice is delicious too. Recommended!

Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood. Service was good and the menu has English descriptions with pictures👍🏻. Food was served promptly after ordering. Ordered the Basil pork (spicy), stir fried morning glory and yellow crab curry. Tasted great as compared to the other restaurants off the main road. Pricing is decent and not too expensive. This place gives a homely feeling. Honest food with great service! Will definitely be back when I visit Krabi again. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

One of the best local Thai restaurant in Ao Nang. Very friendly family run kitchen, we went for a late lunch, did not need to book. A little tricky to find, on a side road, but well worth it. Tasty and reasonable price, tamarind fish was flavourful! Highly recommend.

We tried the fish with lemon sauce here, the taste is truly amazing, it’s the dish that you will come back for more. The Mango sticky rice is the BEST, you shouldn’t leave the restaurant if you didn’t order this. The rest like pad Thai, pineapple fried rice and seafood coconut curry are not bad as well. The restaurant is a homey set up hidden away from the main road, worth to come for a good Thai food.

Very authentic and lovely home made thai food. We also managed to get the garlic prawns (a southern thailand speciality and not on their menu) which is a must try! The fish is fresh and their talay is very flavourful

Service and food were incredible - I cannot get over how good this food was. Best Thai we’ve had since being in Thailand for 3 weeks. We ordered 2 cocktails, the fried ground pork, pork and big noodles, and the green curry with chicken and rice. And then the mango sticky rice. Everything was the best we’ve had yet!! HIGHLY recommend.

The place is very comfy and the waitresses are super friendly! The restaurant is located in like a neighbourhood area so you get to see the surrounding local houses. The restaurant has a homey feeling to it and it looks pretty at night with all the lights. The food and drinks tastes very nice. My personal favorite is yellow noodles but this might be biased cos I really like yellow noodles!

One of the best authentic Thai in Ao Nang and the deserts are also very good. Definitely a five star place for my family. Highly recommended.
