The fort is marvelous! It has got all the pomp it could have. You will start enjoying its beauty as we touch the road towards the fort. There are elephant rides that take you to the fort, which foreigners hardly miss😅. It is very big, every structure in the fort is intricately decorated, thoughtfully created. I think it's one of the few forts in India which stands with that level of preservation. This fort is truly an identity of the 'Gulabi Sheher'! Jaipur trip can't be complete without a visit to Amber fort.

Incredible, beautiful and well maintained, Huge in area and would take whole day to see the fort. The fort amazing example of a well maintained fort. Has a very detailed explanation of how the fort was built, its significance along with explanation on each. The view you get of the fort when you are about to reach the fort is quite mesmerizing. Definitely worth visiting if you are in Jaipur. Do check out Nahargarh too if you can, feel the royalty of king as well as feel the beauty of this place. I would like to recommend you please go early morning after 9. Am so you can see full fort .This is very big fort you need whole day to see all.

It is a great historical place, if you are planning to see tourist places in Jaipur you must visit this particular place. It is advisable to hire only an official guide which has been available on the upper side of the palace near the ticket counter.

Amber Fort needs maintenance, Although it is declared as a world heritage site. Such as restoration of painting, walls, etc, so that it can attract more visitors. They need to maintain parking facilities at the front and rear gates.

City of forts and palaces - Jaipur. When you are driving from Delhi Amber Palace is the 1st palace you will encounter. This Palace is located 10-12km form city on the outskirts overlooking the city. Its a very huge palace from where you can see the walls on the hills. We visited here around 15:00 in April. It was very hot. If you are reaching in noon do take a water bottle and a cap. Don't get in touch with any local guide as they give wrong information's. We can take our own vehicle up and till the entrance of the palace. This palace needs an entry ticket of 50/- per head (Both offline & online available). Also, night light show is available and it starts from 19:00 till 22:00 with 21:30 as last entry. Fort is beautiful. It gets really hot during the summer so recommended travel is in slightly cooler days. There is no wheel chair accessibility to the top. There are folks asking for elephant rides near the ticket counter, it’s a humble request do not do it - since the elephants are poorly treated and sometimes they scam you by taking you nowhere.

One of the best places in Jaipur. The fort is simple and neat. The fort's narrow route through the Amer Village is a unique experience that comes along. Note: Opting out a guide will be a good add-on. (There is a "light Show" after 7:30pm, but i missed it.)

A must see in Jaipur. It’s grandeur and beauty is well maintained and the view from the palace is awesome. Be prepared for a long walk. I recommend visiting early in the morning, with a guide and possibly during off season. We were told that during peak season the wait time for vehicles to climb the hill is 2 hours or more. Do visit the ancient temples nearby.

Good fort.. guides won’t trouble much here. There is a restaurant inside, and if you want to eat in it, you don’t need to buy tickets. So you literally pay nothing for tickets here if you planning on eating too. Big water tanks, towers, a big canon which was only ever tested only once and it made so much sound that the people who fired it became deaf even though jumped in water… and the provision made to jump in water is interesting to watch.

A huge cannon and nice walk around with good views. My favourite was the place where they made the cannon with huge drills driven by oxen powered giant gearbox systems and drill bits display etc. A lot of neat stuff indeed.

Jaigarh fort is not that famous as Amer fort, Except the biggest Cannon there is nothing much to watch. If you are a history lover & want to explore about ancient time then it will be good for you. The ticket price is too high , 150/person (Indian adult) and I don't think to be worth. If you are fond of taking photos, then this place is right for you because people come here rarely and it is mostly empty, so you can click photos of your choice.

A must-visit fort in Jaipur. Jaigarh fort is one of the large and best fort in Jaipur. We can get a beautiful view of Amer fort from here. A large cannon (Jaivan Cannon) is kept in the fort. All the views from the fort are amazing. You can walk a lot along the boundaries of the fort and take nice photos from here. Vehicles are allowed inside the fort for a fee.

The entry ticket is bit pricey for 150 rs..the monument is very nice with amazing architecture..The canons..the grandeur

Jaigarh Fort is beautiful...The fort has a cannon named "Jaivana Cannon" which was manufactured in the fort and is the world's largest cannon on wheels. The fort has court rooms and halls with screened windows, gardens, armoury, museum, temple etc. The ticket price is 150 per person (Indian) 200 per person (foreigner). Best time to visit the fort is between 3 pm to 6.30 pm.. The sunset view from the fort is amazing..

Beautiful place, located just inside the Amber Fort. Service was fast. The menu was on QR code, which we did not like that much. You can find delicious traditional rajasthani food here. Water was served in plastic bottles, which was a bit of a disappointment.

Food quality is not value for money. The waiters are unprofessional. They ask u to take things by yourself rather than serving at table. Interior & ambience is very good. Good for experience.

Absolutely stunning interiors with a feel of a haunted ambience because it's really far from the city in a huge fort. Well, we were the only guests in the restaurant at 9.10pm. then 2 tables joined but that's it. This place can make you feel lonely and not worth a celebration even though the interiors are just amazing. We were there for my mom's bday and they dint even offer a congratulations or a piece of cake! Food was okay..nothing amazing but not bad too! They don't have a liquor license so alcohol serving is limited with NO cocktail menu. Price is fine too if you are going that extra mile for a dinner and service was not bad too with a tabla player and a singer for dinner. But! I not returning back. Being the only table in a restaurant is uncomfortable for me if we have driven out of the city for 30 min. Getting an uber post dinner is pretty tough so carry your own reserved driver or car.

The restaurant is located inside the palace itself. Do not follow the maps if you are inside the palace and looking to go this restaurant it will redirect you to a longer route. Better to ask a local or at the ticket counter. The restaurant is just too expensive, taste is okayish and if you are specifically looking to have traditional Rajasthani food you can go for it, but there are many places far better than this in terms of experience, taste, ambience etc. The service was good with rocket high prices. I didn't find it worth. But yes, If you are looking to get a feeling of royalty you'll surely get a touch of it.( I am still in doubt though) 1/5

If you find yourself in Jaipur and crave an evening immersed in a fantastic natural ambiance, make sure to explore Padao Restaurant at Nahargarh Fort. Located approximately 20-25 KM from the city center, atop a hill, it offers a stunning view of Jaipur city at sunset. I'd give it a solid 4 stars, with the only drawbacks being occasional traffic and pricey meals. However, everything else about it is truly exceptional. Sky over you and city lights will give an excellent experience.

Ridiculous service n they serve cold food. No one to take your order. Even after getting food. No one served water. The only thing which is good is the view over there. Best to go there and order snacks n enjoy the view.

We loved this restaurant when we visited for the first time in Dec’19 and totally liked Lal Maas and performers performing there (that kid is +++). Fast forward. This time in Dec’21, everything was same except the taste of Lal Maas (not good this time). This time I felt food is over priced.

Great place and good food near Amer fort. This is frequented by foreigners and local tourists. The washroom need a bit of maintenance. Tried thali here, it was good. There are two sitting options. One like a basement and other at ground level. In the ground level there are local Rajastani singers who keep u entertained. In the basement there is none.

The food was very exquisite and delicious. Rajasthani thali is a must try, the curries had very nice blend of spices.

Dined at Royal Rajwada after my visit to the Amber Palace. This is the only good restaurant closest to Amber Palace. Being a vegetarian, ordered Rajasthani mini thali as suggested by the staff. What an amazing and delicious food. Traditional food like Dal Baati, Gatta ki subzi, papad tamatar, special red chutney were too tasty. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional. 5/5 for food and hospitality. Must visit place after a lengthy tour of the palace.

The cafe has a nice ambience. A nice view of the Amer fort from your table itself. Owner is very helpful and courteous. The menu has many items. Food is delicious. The dosa was as good as it is in southern India. I would recommend others as well to visit.

Great place to have a meal or to hangout as both cafe & restaurant is there. For drinks, had Kokum Sangria & Mango Lassi, both were really good. Ordered Dal-Baati with Gatte ki Sabji- taste was very nice- wnought for a person. The quantity of Daal was less though. Masala Baati was yum! Had masala dosa and it was really amazing. Interiors are good, place with a view- you can directly see the palace outside. Staff were really helpful. Overall good service.

It’s located pretty close to the Amer fort base entrance. I had the most amazing and lip-smacking veg uttampam here. Would love to come back and eat again! Restaurant manager was very polite.

The Visit to this Place just happened accidentally, But Trust Me it was Worth Getting Into. Awesome Ambience, Good Taste Of Food, Polite Work Force and Pocket Friendly as well. I enjoyed the Lunch thoroughly. No Complaints as Such. The interiors were good as well.

Right opposite to Amber palace, Kokum Bistro's Chola puri is a must try. They serve healthy mint water which is tasty btw☀️

Wonderful service, we were really looked after by the owner. Lovely food- fresh and homemade and beautiful presentation. Amazing for vegan and gluten free, so many options. I had the tastiest millet roti, which is so rare to find in Northern India! And I felt comfortable that she understood the severity of my allergy (Coeliac disease). The owner is a nutritionist and has a real understanding of gluten free and vegan, which is rare in India. Great location just minutes walk from the Amber Fort entrance. Would have given 5 stars if portion sizes were bigger and it was a bit cheaper.
