I would say this was definitely worth the money. My one complaint (and it’s a big one) is that the tram is too packed with people to enjoy the view unless you’re directly by the window. Wait for a group to go, then get to the front of the line to fully enjoy this experience. It’s an incredible view even if you don’t get in the restaurant. If you DO want a reservation, make sure to make one a few weeks in advance. There’s hiking trails at the top, and the last ride of the day back down is at 9. I would pick one path or another: go up for pictures and go to the restaurant, or go to the trails. We went the picture route this time but next year we will probably choose to do some hiking instead. Beautiful spot definitely worth seeing.

First and foremost, the views from the tramway are absolutely breathtaking. The large windows provide excellent visibility, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to take in the magnificent views. The tram operators are friendly and professional, providing interesting commentary about the area and making the journey even more enjoyable. Upon reaching the top, there are several activities and amenities to explore. The Sandia Peak Observation Deck offers a 360-degree view, allowing you to soak in the beauty of the surrounding mountains and valleys. There are also hiking trails for those who want to explore the natural beauty of the area on foot. The Kawanis Cabin Trail is easy enough and is worth the spectacular views. Additionally, the weather at the top of the mountain can be cooler than in the city, so it's a good idea to bring a jacket or extra layers, especially during the colder months.

Was a really cool experience! The Tram going up was at capacity and didn't get a be right next to a window but still could have a pretty good view. There weren't a ton of people at the top. The hiking trails were beautiful and pretty easy to walk for most people I would say. The Tram operator was great and I wish I could remember her unique name. The views were out of this world! For a family of 4 it cost about $120 and I think it was worth it for the experience.

So my father and I was happy that we made the journey to the top. Being at 6,000 feet then make a trip up the tram to 10,000 feet. You have to go to the top to find out the actual total height. Got to leave a little desire. 😌 this is a hard experience for someone not used to the height but as you see the pics of the scenery were breath taken and so beautiful that I would tell anyone to go take in all that beauty. I took the pic of the bee to show that by just taking the pics of the skyline and terrain you can miss out on the flowers and beauty of nature in front of you.

Despite my own extreme fear of heights, this is an experience you don't want to miss. The views of Albuquerque are extraordinary, the ride up is a little scary, but coming down was much easier. The gondola was large, and the trip up was full to capacity. Being crowded made it more difficult to see the views, but there is enough glad to make it work for everyone. Once at the top, you saw both sides of the mountain. And, if you like to hike, the ski trails are open to hikers in the summer. Even the gift shop was not only well-stocked, but very well priced. Parking is plentiful and free. You'll be glad you went.

Very cool experience 😎 Definitely recommend! We purchased tram tickets last minute as we were passing through town. We arrived and once in line to board, the wait was about 45 minutes. The views were beautiful even from the line! The ride took about 15 minutes and was stunning! You pass over a few canyons and valleys, so the views are constantly changing. Once at the top, the temperature was a brisk 35 degrees (25 degrees colder than on the ground)! We weren't able to eat at the restaurant, but they did allow us to buy cocktails and enjoy outside. So many photo ops, and we'll kept grounds.

The tram is always always worth it. I’ve been multiple times and whether you’re a local or you’re visiting it’s always breathtaking. There are windows to go up and down (noon to 4, or 5-8) the ride is about 14 min and usually you have a good view no matter where you’re standing. If you’re visiting near sunset, make sure to head back to the line once it’s over otherwise you might miss the tram and have to wait another 30+ min. Bring a jacket too, it’s always surprisingly chilly and windy up there, but so beautiful!

Worth if you haven’t done any tramway experience before. Bit expensive. Good if you like hike as there are trails up there. Would not recommend if you just want scenic view and check mark this attraction in todo list. Wheeler peak is great place if you like scenic view. Sandia peak is good place if you need tramway experience, hiking, skiing or some scenic view.

By far this was the coolest thing to do in Albuquerque! IT’s fairly priced and the views were just stunning! They only have 2 cable cars which come about every 15 minutes. The ride is about 15 minutes from point to point and was really smooth. There are no seats in the cable car, but there are plenty of poles to grab. There are also several short and long hiking trails at the top which we definitely took advantage of. I would highly recommend!

Not crowded, which was fantastic. The ride up and back were pretty uneventful. The views were gorgeous and with the price of the team ride. Our "guide" on the way up was fantastic. Interacted with everyone answering questions, etc. The one going down need to find a new job. She basically told everyone that she didn't answer questions and struggled to keep her eyes open. I, literally, watched her with her eyes drifting closed more than once.

Pictures from the top of the tram. Bought tickets in advance online. When I got there, I was told there was some weather that may cause them to stop running the tram temporarily. The staff kept me informed and there ended up being no weather delay. At the top, you can explore the area and come back down when you’re ready. There is a restaurant at the top, I believe reservations are recommended and there is a dress code after 7 pm. It is a fun stop. There’s a gift shop too.

This is a beautiful collection of different Pueblo pieces. I looked through the museum but waited for the guided tour and was not disappointed. He was extremely knowledgeable on all things New Mexico. I love listening to the insight and his personal history along with what was in the collection. Highly recommend sticking around for the tour. It's included in your admission ticket. What was an added surprise was the restaurant attached. It served a variety of authentic and delicious dishes that will satisfy all pallets. I highly recommend that also. A little more pricey but worth it!

Wow! I am absolutely amazed by this incredible space that the tribe(s) have graciously provided for us to experience and appreciate their rich culture. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you! Furthermore, the cafe here is absolutely outstanding in every aspect. I had the pleasure of trying the taco, and my team and I also shared the delectable blue corn onion rings. They were absolutely phenomenal. For to drink i got the ZIA prickly soda!

Always a lot going on here. The permanent exhibit is great representation of the Pueblo culture and history. The changing exhibits are very relevant. Native American vendors in the courtyard, crazy good gift shop & restaurant.

Such a beautiful experience. On my paternal side I'm Isleta Pueblo but this was my first time to New Mexico! It was such an honor to watch the dancers, shop the vendors, eat all the amazing food and check out the museum. Definitely would recommend checking this place out.

We went there in January. The museum is filled with information. And for a skateboard collector like me, I went crazy. There was a probably one of the best skateboard arts I have ever seen display in the exhibit. It’s so incredible to have that collection displayed for public. Also other sections, there was natives showing how to craft their containers and jewelry. And the last section was about how they fought through early years of colonization. This place deserves more recognition.

Very friendly people and picturesque. The food is wonderful, but the museum is phenomenal. I loved the handmade custom jewelry.

One of the highlights of our vacation in New Mexico. The box office staff person was so very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful even taking time to offer recommendations and directions to other nearby sites of interest. The exhibits were beautiful as well as educational. Meeting local indigenous artisans and watching a Zuni family demonstrate traditional dances while hearing their stories was an added bonus.

The food was excellent. I really liked my superfoods griddle cakes . Our waitress was slow, which wasn't a big deal at first when it was busy, but as people left she didn't become faster or better. She slammed my drink down in front of me and seemed annoyed that she had customers. The manager was very nice.

I learned soooooo much from the mural tour, highly recommended. What an amazing experience. Loved the museum and the grounds. The restaurant on site is completely delicious! Please swing by and take a gander.

It was cool view and it was really hot, but that’s New Mexico especially in the summer. National park service worker was really helpful with guiding my boyfriend and I to the monuments. Only went to one that was closest to the visitor center. It was an easy hike up but at the top it’s a bit steep. It was cool to see them and get a glimpse of history. I would recommend this monument!

Incredible! So amazing to see all the petroglyphs in the lava rocks! Felt like time melting, being able to see these ancestral drawings. . It was heartbreaking tho to witness destruction from people carving their names and dirty drawings. Please honor these Sacred places if you go!

It’s a free very relevant historic landmark. You will receive messages from our ancestors. Amazing indeed. There are also very helpful guides and they’ll give you maps and directions for free. If you are in the area, it’s a must. In a few hours you can get an amazing idea of how things were hundreds of years ago. We also saw roadrunners, lizards and rattle snakes.

Visitors center was just a booth. The worker at the gift shop was making sure to follow CDC guidelines to keep a small enough number of people inside. Toilet vaults were less than ideal. Wonderful experience overall though!

When you arrive at the visitors center, you are given a map and a video is showing to give you background on the locations. There are three locations; all a few miles drive from the visitors center. We chose the first canyon due to time constraints. It was the most strenuous of the three according to the brochures. And a $1 parking fee. We climbed our way to the top on rugged paths. Not for flip flops for sure. Gravel paths with steep inclines, steps, and some places you have to step over large rocks. But worth the view at the top and the amazing petroglyphs along the way! We spent about 2 hours and only saw a fraction of the vast canyon. Definitely recommend!

Worth a visit if you’re in the area. They have a few short trails where you can spot several petroglyphs. We hit it up early on a late July summer day and it was pleasant. Spotted a rattlesnake which was a bonus and super exciting. Several millipedes under the rocks and trails.

We hiked the Petroglyph National park trail. Trail is sand and an easy hike. We enjoyed the hike. We were ointed because the Petroglyphs we're roped off so we were not allowed to get us close to them. We did take pictures and water able to zoom in on them but it would of been nice to get up close to them. The weather was great. It was sunny and not hot. The trail is great for an easy hike for kids and dogs on a leash. I doubt you could take stroller because it is sandy.

Very nice trail to go for a hike/walk. However, there are no trees thus no shade (besides a couple of shade structures), so plan accordingly. Initial leg of the trail is pretty smooth gravel trail (probably wheelchair accessible), but later parts (including going up the volcano) has some rough spots, nothing terrible, but watch your footing.

Very interesting but you really need to take the time to understand why this is important to know about. Make sure you either don't take your dog or at least have some shoes for them.

An interesting place. While you can definitely find a sense of peace and place in this park, several hiring trails are adjacent to housing complexes! It makes for interesting juxtaposition of an ancient indigenous site and contemporary living.

I was excited to visit this museum as I am interested in science and especially in the history of the Cold War and the technological advances that were made as a result. This museum did not disappoint me in the slightest! There were a lot of great exhibits showing not only the military side of nuclear science, but also the medical and power generation applications of nuclear technology. The display of airplanes and missiles outside is also well worth viewing. I would highly recommend this museum to anyone who has an interest in history, nuclear science, or aircraft.

This was the most incredible place I've been since NASA space center! Planes from WWII with mockups of the tower that held test atomic bombs! It could take many hours to go through if you read every description of the pictures or materials! Small but nice gift shop too! Too get in free, go to the library to get a pass!

Lots of great artefacts on display both inside and outside. You'll be able to capture both Fat Man and Little Boy in one picture. There's Soviet MiG-21 next to the F-16. But the exhibit that attracted my attention the most is the gun capable of firing nuclear shots. There are very few of them were made.

This is just an amazing place! Lots of history and just enough kids stuff throughout to keep attention going! Very knowledgeable staff and all of them wanting to share with you! Allow yourself around 2 hours to see all the amazing exhibitions inside and outside!

Patriotic, historical and unapologetic. I loved this museum, it stuck to the facts and did not paint USA as the bad guys. Which I was surprised to find refreshing. The props are excellent, to my civilian eye everything looks like the real deal. I believe it’s important to learn history, and to not fear nuclear energy. Very informative, but it’s also just good to walk around. It also has a very good airplane yard. Kids would probably love that part

Took the kids to this museum and was delighted to find the amount history and hands on exhibits. We had gone out to the Trinity site earlier so this was a way of learning about Los Alamos and the American nuclear program from the 1940s. They also teach about how nuclear science is used in medicine & energy production today. The gift shop has some nice goodies, too!

It’s a very informative and educational place if you want to learn some nuclear knowledge as well as history. Love the layout and various contexts. Love the out door exhibits. Saw A real B52 first time. Tips: it could take up to a day to read all information and watch the videos. Allow yourself at least 2 hours to have a quick through.

I was ecstatic to find that a museum like this existed. I am obsessed with the history surrounding the early development stages of nuclear power into the modern era. Really detailed exhibits and amazing ability to show the scale and brain power that designed and built these technologies.

Wow, you literally could browse through this joint all day. The aircraft catch your eye as you pull in from the highway and they are really the highlight of the place. Their displays about the Manhattan Project were interesting, the German WWII nuclear project and the 1950s/1960s pop culture referencing the nuclear era was amazing, too. Check out the MIRVs and ICBMs. The "big nuclear" bit about nuclear power was ok, too. There is heaps of free parking and their toilets were clean and tidy. They have a cool souvenir shop, too.

Great museum, lots of cool areas that are very engaging and interesting. Lots of space so even if there are a lot of patrons it doesn't feel too crowded. The live action dinosaur was really cool. The gift shop has some really cool stuff.

Fun interactive science museum. Definitely the highlights are the dinosaur bones and the planetarium. While the museum is small, it has some big time exhibits. Probably 1-2 hours to go around it depending on how much you are reading. The price is also very cheap, so I would highly recommend visiting it. It’s also excellent for children, lots of activities for them.

An incredible experience for anyone traveling to the area. I’ve been to some museums but never something quite as unique and interesting like this one. We paid $16 dollars for two of us which I didn’t expect considering some places charge a lot more, and I could almost spend all day looking around the whole museum! The Museum starts from the beginning of time (the big bang) all the way until our current world. I found interesting and cool was the fact all you see like the fossils, bones, rocks, gems, and etc brought in which was found locally or gifted to the place. It’s great for kids because they have a lot of interaction pieces for the kids to enjoy. The museum has fossils as well as rocks for the kids or even you to touch. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. You can tell they take pride and joy to their job. It took me around almost 4 hours to complete the exhibit but could easily be done in 2-3 hours. I will definitely be back in the near future to experience it again!

While the museum was a little dated, I thought it was a great experience. The chronological order of the museum made the content much easier to grasp. The museum also had some GREAT artifacts and fossils of all types. Lastly, I really enjoyed the planetarium show. If a little more funds were invented in modernizing the museum, this would easily be five stars.

A very good place to learn about the natural history of New Mexico. The museum covers minerals, volcanos, space, and dinaaours. They have a good planetarium and a movie theater. Do not miss anything. the ticket is just 10 bucks, including shows. It is a great place for high school students and history and science lovers.

Best way by far to beat the heat and learn a thing or two about this prehistoric treasure in New Mexico, I had no idea this area was once underwater millions of years ago. Great place to take kids to explore and have hands-on learning at affordable prices starting at 8 dollars for adults and less for kids.

A very nice museum to visit. The museum itself is clean and inviting. The exhibits are interesting and well put together. They’re a bit content heavy for children, but for older kids I’m sure they’d have fun. My family and I went to one of the interactive planetarium shows. The speaker was very knowledgeable and well spoken.

Spent a couple hours looking at the exhibits here. Glad I did. They had a amazing collection of minerals and gems, a nice display of fossils and dinosaurs, and a few nice displays of meteorites. It was not limited to this and they had several other displays but these were the ones that I enjoyed most.

Lots of nice exhibits and talks about a lot of local dinosaurs and fossils. Very cheap to get in and completely worth it if you want to spend 2-3+ hours looking at everything. Good for a hot summer day to do something inside.

I geeked out. This was a must on our visit to Alamogordo! The museum had loads of information and fun interactive exhibits. The amount of memorabilia here is impressive. We also did the planetarium which was neat and we learned lots about constellation.

The food is very good. Got the combo with Christmas tree (red and green sauce). The renello was very good! The tamale was okay. The fajita was very good. I do not know if they make the tortillas in house, it taste like fresh homemade. Service was okay, not sure if the server was new or that he have too many tables to take care of. If your in the area, got to stop by, the food is very good.

I am not from here. Was told to try the green chili sauce. Was hesitant so I got red and green on my burrito. It was good but I am fully team green chili sauce now. I wish I trusted my friends. They also have local beers and a pretty good sangria/margarita. I was surprised by sopapillasafter the meal. So good.

Located right in Albuquerque Old Town. This historic restaurant fits the Old Town atmosphere and beauty. Once you walk in, you will see an extraordinary atmosphere and ambience. I cannot describe how beautiful it is inside as well as they're outside patio. We had a party of 12 people there and not one of us was upset with our food. Everything was delicious. I will tell you they're green chile is delicious. The person who got the Carne Adovada was a little disappointed. It was too salty and there was some certain seasoning that didn't hit the palate so well. The waitress and other staff were friendly but the food did take quite a while to get to us. When you want to experience the Old Town vibe and eat at a wonderful restaurant within Old Town, this is the place to go.

Beautiful little Cafe. This was our first time in Albuquerque Old Town and thourghly enjoyed our experience and our lunch. Our server Lisa was very friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding. We would definitely recommend this little restaurant.

Historic building in historic district, menu with a large variety of New Mexican food items and traditional American sandwiches. Well decorated with southwest art and historic items. Friendly staff, delicious food. The restaurant is located a block north of Old Town Plaza (historic town square). The restaurant is located north of (behind) the historic San Felipe De Neri catholic church.

Don't let the outside fool you, this place is awesome on the inside. Carry out or dine in, you won't be disappointed. Numerous inside and outside dining options. The outside patio is gorgeous. Highly recommend the pitcher of margaritas.

Let’s start this review by saying this restaurant has a beautiful outdoor scenery of plants ! Outside appearance makes you think it is a smaller building, BUT once inside, it goes far back with a very appealing authentic appearance! Lots of good choices on the menu and the food is beyond amazing! I had the combination plate and it is SO worth it!!! Highly recommend while in Old Town!

Super yummy authentic Mexican food. I really enjoy local restaurants, and I love them when the food is top notch. It is worth the stop and enjoy old downtown while there.

Wow! Genuine New Mexico experience with a cafe vibe! Come enjoy a monstrous Club Sandwich or flavorful New Mexican food. The chairs are comfortable and the restaurant is nice and intimate. When you walk up to the front door it seems small and maybe looks closed but it’s actually huge inside. Featuring indoor and outdoor dining and also bar seating. There is a little bit of everything. Fits right into the Old Town theme with lots of historical decorations. The chicken burrito with red chili was very good. The salsa has a sweet beginning with a sharp bite right at the end. Overall, highly recommended and we will return!

The atmosphere is gorgeous. I was so excited walking through the doors to see such a beautiful setting. We come from some of the best Mexican food in the US... we were looking forward to authentic Mexican food New Mexico. We we got the chips and salsa I thought oh no really...? it reminded me of store bought chips out of a bag, and salsa out of a jar. The prices were high for what we received, the taste was borderline generic Mexican. Our server was very nice. The place has potential to be incredible, but they need a new authentic Mexican chef or cook. We paid $60.00 for a late lunch hoping for an early dinner. But we went back to our camp and had cheese and crackers for our dinner.

We just left El Pinto and we were very disappointed :(. We had been to this restaurant about 15 years ago and before that as well (when we had been driving through). We were very excited to eat here as we had remembered it being excellent in the past! We were driving through and had planned to stop in Albuquerque JUST to eat at El Pinto. Upon arriving it was a 30 minute wait (no biggie, but the place was very empty). Once we got to our table it was evident our server was fairly new (Still, no biggie, we used to be servers, we can look past that). Our son's drink had ants in it (not one or two, but at least 4) The server apologized and offered us a free dessert (that's very nice), but also explained that his manager said, "Well, they are on the patio" (I don't think that means we should have ants in a drink). We got our appetizer and it was pretty good (the appetizer platter with the ribs, queso, and guacamole). We got our food and not one of us thought our food was that good. I had the tacos, my son had the burrito, and my husband had the combo #3. The salsa was just okay. This was not at all how we remembered this place and it was sad. The building itself was nice, the server (God love him) was trying his best, but the food was not good :( upon leaving we were going to buy salsa for Christmas presents for my mother in law bc she loved El Pinto in the past, my husband stood there for 10 minutes while numerous people passed him not acknowledging him trying to purchase the salsa. We will not be back ... On another note: As we were waiting for a table an elderly couple came up to the hostess stand and explained they had been waiting for their food for 40 minutes and they didn't have time to wait anymore ... He said he would pay for his beer and they had to leave. They paid for the beer and left. Just my opinion, as a business owner myself, I would've just comped that beer and offered some type of incentive to come back. I truly hope El Pinto does something to revamp and be as good as it used to be.

Best meal I’ve had since I got here. The atmosphere here feels so authentic and the meal matched it. I had the Tamales 🫔 with Christmas Chili on the side. It was all good; tried the tamale plain, with red, green, and both at the same time. I intended to skip on the beer, but when I saw Jefe’s Hefe, I couldn’t resist; and I was not let down.

Stopped by with a client to have some dinner. Staff was friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing. The food was great. Had their salsa and chips. I ordered the green hatch chili with chicken and potato. The client ordered the chicken enchiladas with potatoes. Definitely a place to go back to next time.

Their salsa is delicious! And you buy some jars to take home! The venue is absolutely beautiful. We ate outdoors and very much enjoyed the shady patio.

One of the most beautiful Mexican restaurant ambiance you’ll ever experience! The staff was very friendly and attentive despite how busy they were. The food is alright and slightly overpriced but the dining experience is definitely worth the visit especially for large groups!

Way over priced for what you get. El Pinto has a cool atmosphere and a friendly staff. There food isn't bad but with an average price of $20 per plate, you would expect something better. Instead you get what you would be sub par at other restaurants for half the price at other New Mexican restaurants. Our bill was over $100 for what should of been $40-$50 anywhere else.

We have gone to El Pinto for over a decade and have met the twin brothers that own it. Recently we attended a wedding and, later, had lunch. El Pinto is very pretty with a huge fountain at the entrance and live music. The outdoor is great- pretty and has heaters throughout. The wedding had great food and great service, 5 stars. The food at lunch was very good, as usual, but the service was not; 3 stars. It took a long time to get chips and salsa- other -empty- tables had chip baskets but we waited quite a while for ours. I finally grabbed a basket from an empty table. Similarly, we waited a long time for the food and the check.

Highly recommend EL Pinto. Food was delicious -- had the red rib appetizer and the green chili burger. Tried the green chili stew -- all were tasty. Service was great. And the atmosphere was very nice. A must go!

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Our server was very kind and knew how to make conversation with her customers. Food portions are huge and drinks are strong. You get a lot for your money here.

This restaurant is really popular here in Albuquerque for sure. Parking lot was full on Friday evening. Beautiful ambiance with lots of energy place. All of us had three different dinner entrees and all of us thought it was a bit too spicy including salsa. Though brisket enchiladas were really good. Our waitress was great and very friendly. Great portion sizes. Would I come back or crave their food again? Probably not.

Waited 45 mins, so when i went to ask about our seat they blamed us for not paying attention then they blamed the buzzer...but Not Once did they take accountability for not seating us in a timely manner. After we got seated there was another table complaining about the lack of service, which made us want to leave if we weren't so hungry! Food was OK, nothing you couldn't get anywhere else in NM. Service was the same, everyone working was under the age of 18 and by the attention they give definitely under paid to care! Wont be back, lots of better places to eat.

The meal was fantastic!! My husband recommended this place. He hadn't been here in over 25 years and he said it was as good as it's always been

A must try local spot. They give you plenty of food so be prepared to take home leftovers. They serve a big basket of chips and salsa. The nachos are huge, even for the “small” order so plenty to share. The quesadilla is also a large serving and can easily feed two people. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Atmosphere is nice and welcoming. There is a nice bar area and if you would like to take some souvenirs home, they have a small shop where you can pickup jars of salsa, chips and other goodies.

I ordered the chicken burrito with the veggie sauces, and was surprised when my order came out and it was the size of my forearm. This would have been amazing if the food was any good. The chicken was over cooked and wet, almost like it had been boiled and shredded with some of the chicken juice in it. It wasn’t seasoned at all, and the flour tortilla was chewy as if they didn’t heat it up. The sauce on top of the burrito was the only thing that made the meal bearable, but even it only had spice and no flavor. I was very disappointed because the restaurant had an amazing atmosphere and the staff were very nice.

Disclaimer: Although this is a rather late review, I doubt it isn't still applicable. We ate here 25 June 2023; it wasn't my first time, as I remember going to this location (the only one at the time) several times as a kid and at least once when I was a new adult, but it was my significant other's first time, ever. I have been to another location in the past, but that was at least ten years ago and it was definitely not what I remember Sadie's to be; sadly, this most recent visit to the original location was not what I remembered, either. It mostly looked the same, which was nice and brought back memories for me... but it's still so different, between the people working there and the way things are run now. However, that wasn't my biggest issue with Sadie's - the food is definitely not the same, and it's so expensive for such low-quality. We weren't impressed by any of it, though the taquitos were decent enough, but the rest (especially the sopapillas) were awful. It also messed up our stomachs later, which was an even bigger reason we won't be returning. The server we had... he tried, he really did. He was clearly having a hard time keeping up with everything and wasn't finding things easily on the electronic device he was using to take our order (what happened to good ol' pen and paper?), but he was also gone for long stretches of time when he was supposed to return with things and often forgot things he was supposed to bring. We didn't ask for much, but what we did ask for, was a struggle to get. It wasn't a pleasant visit, and considering it was a couple of months ago, I didn't expect to still be annoyed by it all... but that's what I've experienced while writing this review. We won't be returning, and that's a shame; I used to be all about Sadie's, so long ago, and now I'm just so disappointed in it. I get that things change with the times, but when they aren't GOOD changes, that's a problem. It is beyond my understanding how there are so many good reviews. It seems people will eat anything and pretend it's of decent quality, just to stay loyal to their precious state.

Pretty good little place, portion size was huge! It was pretty busy when we went for dinner, but our waitress was attentive and friendly. The salsa is HOT and the chips are good. I got the nachos and enjoyed them. The fried peppers were also good!

Our first experience at Sadie’s (orig location) was ok. We got there about 4:30pm on a Sunday evening & waited 30 min for a table. Our waiter was ok but seemed very confused during each verbal exchange we had. Chips & salsa were good. We both ordered chicken tacos. Mine came out and were beef. Had to wait 10-15 min for my order to be corrected.Because of this, it appears they don’t have a process in place for order corrections to be expedited. The tacos were good but nothing out of the ordinary. From our experience, Sadie’s did not live up to the reputation it has in Albuquerque.

I’m in town for work and heard some of my coworkers talk about eating at Sadie’s. On the weekend before last, I stopped in to this location to check it out. Exterior isn’t much to talk about but the interior had nice decor. My service was good, and the atmosphere not bad. The food however, especially in comparison to other like restaurants left a lot to be desired for the price point. I had the Fried Green Chile Strips, a Combination plate with tamale, relleno, and Adovada, and sopapillas. The Chile strips where crunchy and crispy, but salty. The ranch that came with them was alright but I couldn’t taste anything other than something fried. The combination plate was next up and it was huge, very filling. I was however a bit surprised that it didn’t have as much flavor as I expected. I’m an out of towner and Sadie’s was my first experience with New Mexican food. I was looking forward to it, but instead I felt like I was eating food that maybe once had been great when the business was first growing but now is an institution. It’s not bad by any means, but it’s not really anything to come back to for seconds either.

Sadie’s was recommended to us by the front desk at the hotel we were staying at for the night. Glad she did! Service was excellent and there was no wait for our party of 3. Our server, I forget her name, was amazing too. She was very friendly and attentive! I ordered the combination special with three items: 2 chicken enchiladas and 1 Chile relleno. All in green sauce (which actually looks red) lol. The order comes with papitas and beans. My mom and dad both ordered the chile relleno plate. The portion was huge, but we all enjoyed our meals. My mom and I both tried the prickly pear margarita, which was delicious. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

I haven’t been here in many of years. I recalled loving the food but this time was a little lack luster. Prices are unfortunately gouged. The gator tails were great. Pasta was cooked well but not spice in sight. The salmon was over cooked. $102 dollars later, I thought damn Olive Garden never lets me down.

Huge seafood restaurant, friendly staff and good table service. Their menu provides a different variety of seafood, shrimp, alligator, catfish, grouper, lobster, trout, scallops, oyster; gumbo, fried platter, salad, pasta; if u r not a big fan of seafood, they do have chicken, steak and mignon.... Real big portions, make sure u come with an empty stomach🤪 excellent food, grilled shrimp is the must try!

We had such a great time celebrating my baby girl's 23rd birthday here. My husband & myself team up with my daughter's Dad & his beautiful wife to make our daughter's birthday celebrations memorable and all about her. She is an amazing young woman who deserves the best!! Our food was delicious, the atmosphere was so beautiful & there was no wait time. Our server was top-notch! He deserves a pay increase. He was sociable, and friendly, listened to our requests & got our food out promptly. The cooks know their way around the kitchen.

The food here is quite good. I got lobster and my wife got steak. We came here with some friends and had a great time. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was great. They have good portion sizes too. My only issue is I personally think it's a bit over priced. Everything tasted great, but I feel like I can get the same quality food at other restaurants for a bit cheaper. Still a great place to eat and hang out with family and friends. I do recommend eating here especially if you like sea food.

Everyone very friendly, great service as well. I would have given 5 stars but the prices are way too high. The cost for one piece salmon and few stalks of broccolini approximately $32 but it was very good. Desert was delicious 🙂

The food was excellent! Salmon was prepared perfectly, blackened, medium-rare. Drinks were on point. Our server, Nhi, was sweet and helpful. This was my boyfriend's first visit and he loved it.

We had a great meal here. The food was excellent and delicious, and the portion size was very generous. We did wait a bit long for our food, but the manager visited our table and then made everything right. The service was attentive and polite. All in all, a very good time and very good food.

Delicious food, awesome service, and a great atmosphere. We arrived shortly before our 1:00 reservation and although busy, we were promptly seated and immediately greeted by our server. Alligator appetizer was out before we expected it and the main course came out timed perfectly. We can’t wait to go back to try more of the menu!

Unpleasant experience, bad food and indifferent staff. The house salad we got was probably from the day before, all brown around the edges and limp so we had to reject it. Mixed drinks overly sweet. The enchiladas all right though delivered with the wrong salsa on top. The waiter managed to bring us the wrong bill twice, then we gave up and went to counter to fix it. Not sure why this place is so highly rated. Never again.

I was expecting much better from the second oldest restaurant in New Mexico. I've had better chips and guacamole on the East Coast. Hearing of the green chilis in the land of enchantment, I ordered the green chili burger. The burger was burned around the edges, well done when I asked for medium rare, and didn't particularly like the shoestring fries. The margaritas however saved any experience I was having there.

We stopped here on a whim, at about one in the afternoon on 1 Sept 2023; it was the best unplanned meal ever. The decor and restaurant set-up overall, were beautiful. The service was spectacular. The food was made well, and delicious. Additionally, I asked for my San Felipe Burrito meal to be made a certain way, and they filled my request perfectly! Although it's on the expensive side, it's worth it... and there's no way this place can get bad reviews unless they're written by dishonest people, as it was amazing and we have zero complaints. Oh! The guacamole in the Tres Amigos starter was the best guac I've had in twenty years - not exaggerating. I wish I could eat it every day.

What an unexpected pleasant surprise! The restaurant didn’t look much from outside but the atmosphere and the staff is so cool. The food we tried was fantastic also!

A highly rated local restaurant, did not have a high expectation, as it didn't look like a place offer delicious dishes from its entrance. But I was wrong, turns out High Noon is a hidden palace, it offers a warm and peaceful atmosphere at the moment you walk in. Try finding a seat at their chamber of religious statues, quite an experience of calm meal if you do so. Their signature tenderloin is will grilled and served with homemade sauce, tender and juicy, just perfectly goes with the meshed mushroom potato.

It was good, not great. The 8 oz Tenderloin with mashed potato enchiladas was not as impressive as I was hoping. The steak was a great cut, cooked perfectly, and very tender, but the sauce and enchiladas were disappointing, lacking any flavor. The shrimp enchiladas were good.

Ambiance and history were nice. Server was even pretty good, but the food itself was hilariously overpriced for the quality. The lettuce with the new Mexican combo platter was literal bag lettuce from a grocery store. This same can be said with nearly everything used in the combo, very cheap. But the prices were not, glad I didn’t for up for a steak! In a city with a ton of food, look elsewhere.

A very lovely restaurant if you are interested to try some local food, meet friendly staff and owner, listen some local stories. The restaurant has a famous haunted history. I had some question about restaurant and owner and waiters were very patients and informative.

We loved our dinner at High Noon. Both of us ordered New Mexico style dishes and were not disappointed. Great shredded beef tacos and also enjoyed the prickly pear margaritas.

Historical building. Service was good. Everything appeared clean and orderly. En route to the airport after a week of business conferences, I stopped by here with three of my colleagues based on a recommendation. They all seem to enjoy their meal. For me, it just wasn’t my favorite. Wish it had a bit more flavor and spice. To each their own as it seems many people enjoy their meals. I didn’t have a bad experience. Wait staff were friendly and responsive.
