Water slides & pool are lovely & clean. Dolphin show is amazing. Atmosphere is calm & friendly. Food is a little pricey & I felt the Pirate show was lacking adventure. The toilet facilities are good & clean. Lockers are available. You can hire sun loungers & shade - €10. (Or just a lounger for €5) Parking is free. I would recommend a visit.

Nice experience and so much fun! The pools were great, just be careful if you go in summer, you probably won't have any space to move. Same thing goes for the food, you will have to wait a long time, specially in the summed but overall, it's worth it

We have now visited Zoomarine 4 times and loved it every time. The place is clean, staff polite & friendly. Everything is well sign-posted. Shows that they put on are always great, educating and fun. Animals are looking healthy and well looked after. The swimming pool is awesome, spacious and warm. Good selection of water slides and rides. Butterfly world is a lovely addition to the park. Will definitely be back in the future.

This place is amazing!! We are definitely going again! It is a theme park/water park/zoo! It has everything you need, there is cafes and restaurants and lockers so no need to bring anything just your swimming costume and ticket, highly recommend.

Amazing place, any animal lover will find something for themselves. Over the whole day, there are several shows of dolphins, seals and sea lions, parrots, birds of prey and tropical birds, so you can plan the visit how you want. The 🐬 and 🦭 shows were absolutely amazing, go there first in case you want to repeat it later 😀 There is also aquarium 🐠, 🦋 garden  and 🦜🐢🦩🐊 habitats, all open the whole day. The slides are cool too, but the queues are really really long. I would recommend you to get there early as there is a lot to see 🤩.

Was lots to do. There were alot of rides for the kids. It’s nice that there is the zoo and the water park as well as regular rides so you can do all the rides and animals and then relax in the water park. Although it was busy there wasn’t a wait time for anything. We went on a Saturday in the off season so wasn’t bad at all. Really reasonable to get in. Food was very reasonably priced as well.

Loads to do here, the water park is amazing with loads of slides. The rides here are great fun for the kids. All the animal shows are amazing. We even did the swimming with dolphins this was amazing. Alot of money but the memory's are there for ever.

Great family day out. Next time we'll bring swimwear so we can enjoy all of the park properly. I would recommend a couple of days as there is so much to do and see. Great shows as well as rides.

Absolutely Fantastic place! The Dolphin show was amazing. The place was clean and tidy. Food was a bit pricey for the quality, but they are always, in these sort of places. My daughter also had the Dolphin interaction in a group, which she liked. It was fantastic to learn about these beautiful animals.

Great place for families with children, a lot of water toboggans, swimming pool, waves pool, you can stay on the grass or on the sand. Good prices for food and drinks. In a few words just great for fun in the summer holidays!!

Great day out for the kids, food tasty and not too expensive. Long queues to be expected for the rides, would definitely need a 2 day ticket to get around all of the attractions. Shows are very good and not to be missed, especially the dolphin and pirate show.

Worth a family trip , decent park overall. All the shows were good but the Dolphin show was amazing and definitely not to be missed. Good restaurants offering wide varieties. Water slides were well maintained and kids friendly .

Great place to visit whilst on your holidays. My hotel was 30minute coach journey which isn’t bad. The shows are great only managed to see the seal show due to the timing for other shows and activities. To do everything would be best over 2 days. Food and drink prices are reasonable. To use the pools and water the lockers are €5 and €5 deposit which you get back once the key has been handed back in. Good ride selection for children and adults to take part also.

Very good theme park, most would need two days to explore it all. The dolphin and seal shows are fantastic, it is lovely to see the love and care the trainer's have for them. Also the pirate show is a lot of fun. It's very clean and well looked after, well worth the entrance fee, also the band's that you can put money on are handy so you don't have to carry cash or your phone with you and it's refundable at the end of you don't spend it all. Although it doesn't work on the drinks machine's so you might need cash for them. It's recommended to get there before 10am so you can fit it all in if your only there for a day also there is a very good app to plain your day.

Fantastic place. A must visit for anyone going to Portugal. Dolphin emotions was unbelievable. Usually I'd be concerned about enclosures but they are spacious and seem very well cared for!. Kids loved the water park too plenty of options for all ages.

Fun and lively place; lots of restaurants, bars, gift shops, and live music. Plenty of spots for ice cream lovers. This area gets really busy in the summer evenings. But still exciting to explore. They have live music in some restaurants. There was live music on a stage by the beach. There is a spot where you can get a taxi. Tonight the line for that was extremely long. I also noticed plenty of places to do hookah. Highly recommend coming here during your stay.

Much nicer than the new town, lots to see and do and seeped in history. You will find the best fish restaurants here. Market stalls and gift shops galore. Very pretty area close to the marina where you can book lots of activities.

Visited here often during our week stay in April. It was nice to walk around both day and night, browsing the shops and soaking up the atmosphere. Plenty of places to shop and eat in the old town - however, slightly more expensive than local places not located here (to be expected). There was a nice 'buzz' and atmosphere every time we visited. We much preferred this to the new town and 'strip' area. Would recommend.

We were staying at Vilamoura and travelled to Albuferia for a few hours. It is a beautiful town with so much to see and do. Everywhere was clean and tidy and the people we spoke to were warm and friendly. The only downside is the large number of British males who visit here for stag does and to get out of there head on alcohol. While I'm sure the town makes vast sums of money from from these sorts of tourists it does spoil the atmosphere.

Decent old town with good shops and a few local gems for food but this whole area of Albufeira has been ruined by British people either moving here or coming over in large crowds. Place is full of run down pubs/bars and places selling bland food. Portuguese government need to have a clear out of everyone here that isn't Portuguese. Nothing Portuguese or cultural about this sadly - not sure what the attraction is going from the home country to another location abroad which is just like home 😐

Brilliant blend of old and new. Restaurants galore. My suggestion is to go back a street from the main square and the prices go down without compromising on quality. Night life to suit all ages. My favourite is the Rock Cafe bar in the square. Live bands every night.

Albufeira is a very walkable city, from the marina to old town Albufeira, you’ll encounter beautiful views and small nice stores and restaurants. You can also take the Hop-on-Hop-off buses and get off on one of the five stops in or near the city center. Old town has a lot of stores and bars, like Central Station. We had lunch at Restaurant 54 which has a sea view just near the centre towards the marina. Depending on what you’re into, I am sure you’ll enjoy your time here.

We went into the old town for the day as we were up by the strip, which I didn't really enjoy. We had lunch in Flavours, by the beach, which was lovely. Then had a few cocktails and had tea in The Square. I loved the atmosphere so much more in the Old Town so if I was to go back I'd look for accommodation there. Live singing in the streets which was fab!!

Albuferia is a lovely coastal city with sandy beaches. A holiday destination with blue sky and the temperature to go with it. I would have loved if Albuferia kept or stamped the Portuguese identity in history, food, culture to the place. Disappointed to find that it was almost impossible to find anything Portuguese. The essence of travelling is to be open and experience different cultures, to learn about the host way of life, to broaden one's horizon. The food I had was void of any taste, bland, uninspiring. Ruined the evening. Period☹️ One positive was the octopus was succulent but tasteless. But if you want fish and chips, or an English breakfast or a pub "more of the same" this is your place. Warm, sandy beaches all good.🤣🤣

Nice walk, lots of shops and bars etc. Only 3 stars as it was very much the same same with almost every shop selling the same stuff. Other Old towns in Europe (Dubrovnik for eg) 100% more on offer. But that said, some nice restaurants, and beach to cool off in.

Lovely lively place, lots of little shops to get cute bits like jewellery, clothing and souvenirs. Great atmosphere in the evening with music and entertainment.

Fabulous, the little shops are all affordable and well kept by the locals. There is a free parking offered by the council and free Internet. The beaches are breath taken

Amazing beach and free parking , loads of Restaurants and bars

We visited this beach in the week and there were only a few people here, not too busy so that was a nice surprise. We also went on a hike after and the paths are 5/5 couldn’t recommend more if you’re going to this area, definitely go on a few hikes! It’s so worth it! And then we went to the nearby town which was a bit more touristy so we had lunch and got an Uber back to our hotel. The waters were clean yet had a lot of moss floating around which was a strange texture yet natural though. Very clean, has cafe and toilets but you have to eat at the cafe to use the toilets as they provide you a code to get in, overall very nice though.

Beautiful beach with some fantastic bars and restaurants. It’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon. Nice and quiet away from the bustling neighbouring towns. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful beach. It was always full as many other people thought the same. Where we were there were bars, restaurants and shops just of the beach...when the tides out you can walk for miles along it from 1 end the the other. You can also climb up on top of the cliffs where there are little trails that take you along the beach, and the views are amazing.

The beach is gorgeous. Beautiful rocks around, sea is delicious to swim and restaurant has many drinks and food available. I gave 3 stars because we wanted 2 seats, which cost 12 euros for half day, but the man (between 40-50) who we had to reach out to was extremely rude and annoyingly sarcastic. His behavior definitely entered my top 10 of worst experiences while being a tourist. You travel to find peace and comfort but you have your day ruined because of someone who wasn't decently educated or just didn't like you and decided to treat you as if you were meaningless. So be aware of that if you come to this beach: the man responsible for the seats might ruin your experience with his lack of patience and respect.

They have several delicious seafood. We ate 2 times in this restaurant for lunch due our vocay in Albufeira since Praia Sao Rafael is our favourite place to sunbathing and playing waves. Kebab seafood is the best food. Lemonade and pineapple mint are best alcoholfree beverages. Sangria passionfruit also will be The best Choice.

The food was good but the location is even better! The burger was perfectly cooked and was dripping. The fries were okay and the sandwich was good. All in all a very nice place to eat and drink at the beach. The prices were a bit high and the service was not that good. If you want to have a quick snack at the beach this is it!

This was our favourite beach in all of Portugal! Not too overrun with beautiful water, grea hiking. The restaurant was very good as well too. Sangria and fresh fish were delicious!

A 2 minute walk from our hotel. Sunbeds are comfy,but get here early to secure one! Bars and restaurants are handy for food and drink. A nice gentle slope into the sea with no rocks to navigate. Had a fantastic day here and the afternoon sun is beautiful.

This beach is a very busy beach, if you don’t go on time you will not be able to rent a sun loungers and umbrella. It was roasting when we went(1st week of August) and having take only beach mat wasn’t enough, wish we had an umbrella with us

Clean beach plenty of things to do for children paddle boat hire body board hire ect is reasonably priced affordable for families with children as you can hire 4 person boats which leaves a few penny's extra for a meal on the sea front. The restaurant prices don't change much from other ones as you come down the main strip. You can stroll alone the cliffs to a smaller quiet beach.

Beautiful beach! It's small but there are enough beds and spots available, golden sand, there are quite big waves and the water is clear and refreshingly cold and right at the beach are restaurants and shops. For me this was the best and most beautiful beach in albufeira! Perfect spot for a day at the beach and would recommend visiting atleast once. For people seeking more adventure you can alsl walk a path on the cliffs so basicly it has it all here.

Nice beach but very small and filled with tourists so I'd recommend other, bigger beaches. Inner city, Praia do Peneco is a much better alternative.

At the early morning, it’s almost empty making it a nice place to exercise or just relaxing. After 10am it’s more crowded, but still a good beach to go. They have a lot of services at the beach and the restaurants around it are also very good.

Beach was very nice with caves and sometimes the waves are very strong. The jet ski ride was very safe as the people been dropped off on a boat with lifeguards to the jet sky in the sea and stays in the boat until they come back from the jet ski. Also pictures available for 20 euro taken by the lifeguards on the boat. Parachute was not that fun as it's like flying a kite in the sea, doesn't go much high and controlled by a rope by the lifeguards in the boat. But it's safe

I really liked this beach . It’s a bit hilly to get down to it from the streets. You could pay for a tut tut to take you down or up for €10 each way. A few places to eat and an ice cream . There are sun beds and parasols to hire. Lovely Sandy beach. You can walk into the sea but then a sudden drop so be-careful with children . The waves are very strong and can take you off your feet. My husband was just in the sea and lost his glasses due to freak wave being bigger than he expected. Never got them back. It’s a very picturesque spot but be careful.

We adored this beach. Not too busy and you don't get hassled too much. The life guards on duty were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Fine dine trendy and very well decorated specious restaurant with very friendly staff / management. Food is good and reasonably priced with wide range of drinks options available . Certainly this would be one of the best fine dine Indian restaurant around Algarve. Overall all we had a great experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Highly recommended for a special occasion if you are around Algarve.

Tasty indian restaurant, moderately adapted to western palate (particularly concerning spiciness levels), making it for a relaxed indian food experience. There are several dishes, all tasting distinctively, with the usual variation of meet options. The dessert list is not as exciting, with few options which one could call "indian". The space is sophisticated and the atmosphere relaxed. It is conveniently located, usually with parking spots available along the street. Service is attentive. Reservations recommended particularly in the Summer.

Came for early dinner at 6pm. Got a table for 5 near the window. Place were quickly packed. Ordered tandoori chicken, it was amazing. Garlic Naan was also tasty. Spinach with medium level of spice were a bit too spicy for my kids but we loved it. Overall food were good quality, only staffs can be friendlier and more motivated in serving the guest.

A very nice Indian In Portugal on the pricey side but it is Fresh and cooked pretty much to perfection so i can't really argue with the prices and how well it was cooked and the freshness of it all. Beats a few of the ones back in the UK. Popadoms and starters were nice. We had chicken Pakora's which were very tasty and steaming hot. Main meal (Chicken Dhansak) was cooked very nice, Kema rice, very nice with big chunks of meat. only negative ild say, if I can find one, is the Chicken Dhansak needed a bit more flavour, but overall enjoyed it and it did taste good, it wasn't horrible like I say that's just a very small negative. They were friendly, maybe a bit rushed at times but that's understandable as they were so busy there. It's a nice place to sit in, a big restaurant. You can even see the naans being made.Best to get there just before they open as they get super busy. Decent Indian in Portugal on the strip. I would recommend it. We are regular Indian eaters. I won't say it's the best Indian I've ever had but was a nice one away on holiday which is rare. 4/5

Out of the Clay oven and into the fire of a damn good curry. Spotted the Clay Oven just walking past. Place was full and the menu had some great vegan dishes. Why not, and all I can say is … a very lucky find indeed … Restaurant: It’s upmarket. Nicely set tables, polished cutlery and glasses with traditional music. It’s open plan so you can see the food being cooked and it smells amazing. Menu. There’s a whole page dedicated to vegetarian dishes of which most are vegan and the many others can be adapted. With the exception of one rice and one bread, all the rice, naans and rotis are vegan too. When ordering they ask you for the level of heat you’d like - and they nailed it. We had … Poppadoms and pickle €6 to start. Nice selection of pickles with an unusual one which was nice - can’t recall what it was. Legume (Vegetable) Biryani €10.50. The rice and vegetables came separate (as did the meat on other tables) showing they understand veganism and the importance of food separation. It was a great biriyani with veg perfectly cooked and the sauce tasted wicked - hot but not too hot. Baigan Bhartha (Roasted Aubergine Curry) €10.50 with Arroz de Cogumelos (Mushroom Fried Rice) €4. Aubergine is easily and quickly destroyed if overcooked but this was perfect. It had absorbed the flavour retaining its soft but tender structure. This was to be very hot 🥵 and it was, but without being a overpowering dry powdered heat. Delish and mushroom rice went well with it as they had big chucks of mushrooms in it. Chilli Naan €4 and a Kulcha Naan (potato and spices filling) €4.50 were bloody gorgeous. Not your usual big fat doughy naans, but flat well flavoured naan’s straight ‘out of the clay oven and into the fire ‘of the spicy curry. Super Bock Beer €3.50 each were a great accompaniment to the biriyani and curry. It was one on the better curry’s I’ve had outside of London. Would I go back? Yes indeedy Would I recommend? Yes indeedy too

Outstanding Indian food. Been coming to the Clay Oven since 2004 and it’s still outstanding. Restaurants come and go, people loose enthusiasm, standards drop and they close! Not the clay oven, they’ve gone from strength to strength, opening a second restaurant which is spectacular, an open plan kitchen where you can actually see them making the delicious naan’s 🫓 A massive variety of curries, my personal favourite is the lamb ghost, delightful, the chicken tikka comes on a hot sizzling plate, if you’ve never tried paneer, try the paneer shaslick which also comes on a sizzling plate. On that try the new sizzling brownie, you won’t be disappointed ✅ Owned by a wonderful family that never forget your face. Lots of cheaper options nearby, but they are cheaper for a reason, you’re on your holidays treat yourself to something special.

Went two nights in a row, once on Uber eats and once in real life, both amazing. Food was top class, cocktails very enjoyable.

Lovely Indian restaurant in Albufeira, based on the reviews and the amount of Indian restaurants on the Algarve, we decided to give this a try. The food was really good and tasted good, we ordered popadoms and a mixed platter for starters, for mains we ordered a mango chicken and a chicken dopiaza. The food as mentioned was really good, however elements of the service was quite poor, for example, we both ordered a cider each which wasn’t served in a pint glass, and was served in a tall soft drink glass - not a major issue, however when I ordered a second drink I was just served the bottle without a fresh glass with ice. Once I ordered the second drink after finishing our mains, we were then presented with the bill without asking for it, which I thought was quite poor, as we may have ordered dessert and a coffee to finish. Food was really good here, just a real shame about the service.

Fantastic location! Quiet at this time of year but the food was delicious! The service was spot on would definitely eat hear again. As authentic as it gets. So much so I text a friend of mine all through dinner about it. Hope she’s starving now 😇

Brilliant experience at Jaipur Indian Restaurant! We were made to feel very welcomend from start to finish. The ambience at this restaurant was great and the service was excellent. Our meals were suberb and tasted delicious - perfectly cooked and presented. The Bhuna Prawn Puri was the best starter I've ever eaten! Main dish was Chicken Jalfrezi with Pilau Rice plus a vegetable side dish of Sagg Aloo accompanied by a Chapati with condiments - all were excellent. Parents loved their Chicken Tikka and Chicken Biryani. Great job guys!

Best meal I've had all year. So, it's only 2 January but the Italian I ate in Lisbon, almost twice the price, did not COMPARE to what I had at Jaipur. I had the vegetable samosa for a starter. Can we talk dipping sauces for a minute? The mango was AMAZING! I tried the onion and yogurt sauces, but I would DRINK this mango sauce. I ordered chana masala at the highest spice level. It had a nice heat but wasn't "burn your mouth" hot. Needless to say, I put some of that magnificent mango sauce on it too because "why not"? Jaipur thinks of everything, they even had a tealight to keep the curry hot. I asked for a take away container for my leftovers, nice portion sizes. I was going to spoon the leftover mango sauce on the leftovers. Instead, the waiter provided me a small container of the miracle mango sauce. Great food and wonderful attention to detail including their customer service. I highly recommend Jaipur.

No frills restaurant but really tasty food and good service (for Portugal/the area). I eat here frequently. Despite using the frozen mixed vegetables, the vegetarian korma tastes great. Happy surprise. Prices on par for the district. (Highly touristy part of Albufeira)

I came here because it’s hard to find vegetarian food that isn’t pizza or pasta in Albufeira. I ordered the halloumi salad and bread with “traditional dips”. When the food arrived at my table I thought there was a mistake because the halloumi smelled so strongly of fish. I honestly thought they’d put fish sticks on my salad, so I assume it’s fried (not grilled) in the same oil as their fish dishes. I received one piece of rock-hard pita bread and a tiny dish of olive tapenade; as it was €3.50 I’d been expecting “dips” plural as per the menu but I accept that could be a translation error. Overall it’s a fine idea but the execution needs a lot of improvement. Edit: Contrary to the management reply, you can see from the photo, my bread was served with ONE dip. There was no tomato dip or aioli or anything not shown. Sounds like management needs to train their kitchen staff properly to ensure all customers receive all components of each dish they pay for.

This is a really fantastic little place to stop for lunch or dinner. The staff were friendly helpful and fast. The food was incredible, perfectly cooked ribs which fell off the bones and melted in the mouth. Great selection of sauces and sides. Would 10/10 recommend this place to those with eyes bigger than their stomachs.

We visited Shalom twice during our stay in Albufeira and had the most delicious dinner with excellent service. Beautifully spiced Chicken Shwarma with chips and salad with everything in it, even strawberries!! Yedid the owner and his son Ido were welcoming and generous, lovely people as were the other staff members. PS we visited during Passover and were even given Matzah instead of bread/pita.

Best place for dinner in the area. We tried the Israeli salad, with Falafel and Hummus and it was great!!! Just like home. Yadin, the owner was very friendly and welcoming and so was the team. Thumbs up!!

Opinions differ among the group with gone with four stars Some would give it a solid 6 out of five others 3. My only problem was the sources tasted a bit samey. But perhaps when on the 3rd plate of ribs and wigs that's just how it goes. €20 for unlimited ribs and wings. They do have vegan options!

I loved the vegan pizza! Pizza dough its crispy thin and delicious, the vegan cheese is excellent. My partner had the chicken divine which was just divine. Shalom has become our 'must go' place in Albufeira. Thank you to the owner and the staff for the warm welcome and great service.

We had a dinner here 2 days ago. Unfortunately our experience was not good. We ate Indian food in Lisbon for 2 days in a row and everything was very good. Cons: 1. My chicken is spicy but the taste is not good. 2. My partner chicken is too sweet. We taste more the milk and sweet instead of the mango. 3. The rice is too dry. 4. We order a drink without ice but he put ice on it, but it is not really a big problem. We ended up paying €23 for both and we did not like all the experience. I am so sorry to write this review. Pros: 1. Entrance accessible for wheelchair. 2. Parking accessible for wheelchair a bit far. 3. Nice and kind staffs. 4. They accept payment in cash. 5. They have indoor and outdoor seating. 6. Free wifi accessible in the restaurant.

Pretty standard curry with a good bit of kick on the garlic chilly! It's definitely an acceptable holiday Indian meal stop. Reasonable priced.

First night in Albufeira and we needed a little break from eating seafood. We stumbled into Spice Lounge! Best decision! We love Indian and are from Vancouver, CA where there is lots of great Indian...so we know good Indian food when we have it! This was fantastic! We ordered the garlicky chicken, channa masala, dal, and prawn puri! Everything was delicious! Our server, Sazal, was so attentive and sweet. YOU MUST EAT HERE!

I'm indian and this food was not good. Food is not fresh, it tastes really old and must be getting reheated. It is not seasoned enough. The owner is not around. You get very little for what you paid for. We got 2 appetizers, chicken tikka and kabob. with Naan, Shahi paneer and chicken Vindaloo. I wouldn't come back.

Had an excellent meal, with a nice red wine to accompany, last, Thursday, with a pal. Jay the owner and all the staff were amazing, and friendly, advising and recommending various dishes. It is a very modern restaurant, light and airy. Highly recommend, best Indian I've had. Certainly best in albufiera. Good luck for the future.

From start to finish the staff and the food was outta this world! I went with my wife and my 3 year old girl! It was the most amazing food! The one to one interaction was brilliant they made you feel like your the most important customer in the place! Jay (the manager) was outta this world, got speaking for ages and gave us a drink on the house! Anything you needed she provided! Couldn’t recommend this place anymore!

Amazing! The team are wonderful and the food was fresh and tasted incredible. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Of course with such great place it gets busy so get there early and prepare for a great experience.

Lovely food and fair pricing. Had a lamb dish with lovely tender meat. Good customer service. Picked tray portions for one are very small though, the smallest I've ever seen and are insufficient if you're having 3 poppadoms.

Had dinner with my friend here last week when visiting Albufeira. Fantastic spot, staff where very friendly, food was lovely, we got a mixed starter to share, a curry each with rice and naan breads. A few beers each too. Very reasonably priced for lovely food and service. Would definitely recommend trying for a meal

Brilliant service, food is lovely, great selection on menu. I used the takeaway, but would come back to eat at the restaurant anytime. Thanks. Obviously I had a small beer whilst waiting for my food.

So happy to have found this restaurant during our stay. It was one of the best Indians I've ever had, and I've had a lot! Staff were very friendly and happy to give recommendations on choices. Lamb was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend and if I'm ever back I'll be sure to pop in again.

Absolutely delicious food, flavours are all there and the service is excellent. If you are in Albufeira and want a great Indian meal you should come here. Great value!

My partner and I had a lovely meal here, the food was lovely and fairly priced. The service was great, lovely polite staff and a lovely owner. Would definitely go back when we come back to Albufeira 😁
